Another random observation: The Catalyst is the name of a club in Santa Cruz, California (I just happen to have a video of Buckethead playing there in my Youtube favorites). While I'm sure the whole album/song title theory has a lot more cred, I thought I'd throw the possibility of a secret show out there.

LOVE these lyrics.

LOVE these possible titles.

LOVE this hype that's making me so anxious for this new album.

and LOVE that it will be heard and then in my hands within the next few months.

i can't take it. i'm going to explode. but in a good way. (:

i lol at people hatin on Christianity and saying the song will have religious themes, "God bless" has become almost a saying, 99.99% of its use in real life is the the same as the English term "God speed" meaning good luck. I highly doubt the song will have religious themes because of a "God bless".

That said, BADASS lyrics, like the name BRING ON THE PUZZLES!

Despite of that, why does it have to mean the god of christianity? Everyone has their own god or gods right? When I read it, I dont think about christianity.

It would be quite stupid if there just posting random puzzles not to do with the album. Like whats the use if its just a random puzzle. And also why would Mike and the LP managment "In canse we need to contact you" if its not relevant to the album or anything LP then why would they need to contact him?!?

I still stand by my first though. Its all for a Joe Hahn Porn. I knew Joe's Joy room wasn't just a coincidence :)

I hate when people say ignorant statements and act like Christianity is the only religion. There are tons and tons of religions and lots and lots of people and cultures believe in different Gods. I hate when people try and push there religious views down on others. I'm not saying anybody in this thread said anything like that because I don't want to piss people off, but it's going to suck when the new album is released and it has lyrics like the new puzzle. I'm not an atheist, but I do not believe in 'Christ'. I don't believe in Christianity at all. I do believe in a God, my God, but it's more spiritual than anything.

There is no proof. That's stupid. The band members are just as human as you and I. They are free to believe in what they want. If they choose to write about it, it is their prerogative. After all, the best musicians write about things that are important to them and hold meaning for them. They can't please everyone as they can only please themselves. They can't push their religious views down on others without "others" permission. And how is writing about God pushing their religious views down on others? It is called perspective. I don't have to believe in Hindu gods to listen to Indian music that talk about the story of their gods or what it means to them. I can understand because i have what i believe in and can relate to the notion. Talking about God in your music if it is what you believe in is not the same as saying Christianity is the only religion. Music is a form of expression.

Seriously, If you don't like a song or a band because they are talking about religion, then you don't have to listen to it. What is annoying is people who act like they are being forced to or have no control over listening to the music.

Completely Agreed. It's not like they are putting a gun on your head and saying that 'Listen to this track you m**********r!!'. You can choose to not listen to it. I am a Hindu and for me God is one. That is what I have heard and believed all my life. When I saw those lyrics it never came to mind it was for Christ or even Krishna for that matter. The ultimate power is one only and people of all religions like to call them by different names. It's just that.

On topic, Wow!! these are dope lyrics! I can imagine something electronic playing in the behind, mike rapping(not agressively)/singing the first verse and Chester singing the second one with the lines in brackets rapped by mike in a Meteorish style.

I love these lyrics and "The Catalyst" as a song name! I do hope we're getting the track names in these puzzles. We have two names by now, but I still think what the first message could be. I'm sure it wasn't there a few days just to add "More messages coming soon" a bit later.
