  1. I'm actually starting to think HT songs will be the encore set.
  2. Main Set Entire ATS album and Bleed It Out Encore What I've Done Breaking The Habit Numb In The End Faint One Step Closer
  3. You guys are going to think I'm nuts. The Requiem+The Radiance Burning In The Skies When They Come For Me Robot Boy New Divide Jornada Del Muerto Waiting For The End Blackout Wretches And Kings Not Alone Iridescent Fallout The Catalyst The Messenger EDIT: Actually I'd have Jornada Del Muerto and Fallout as well.
  4. Mike not playing guitar on BIO? Odd. I'm also assuming that just like the MTM cycle featured him on guitar for nearly every song, he'll be playing more keyboard this time around.
  5. 1. The Catalyst 2. Waiting For The End 3. Burning In The Skies 4. Iridescent
  6. Did anyone else notice at 6:40 Phoenix was clean shaven?
  7. I just watched it on Hulu. Fairly good insight to the writing and recording but I didn't how it ended on a cliffhanger as if there's supposed to be a second part.
  8. You never know, it could be the band having disagreements themselves.
  9. I'm going to say 2014 or 2015. I'm sure the guys are going to want to take time off since they haven't slowed down since writing and recording MTM. I'm sure even Mike will want to take a break since he's been in and out of the studio since 2005 at least.
  10. The argument could go in any direction. But LP could always take into account that they don't have to perform every song from a new album live. If there's a song that's too much for Chester's voice or if it's layered with too many effects, instruments, or whatever else is going on ad they don't feel it could properly be pulled off live or loses it's magic, than it's okay to leave that track alone. There are countless bands out there including some of the best of all time that have never performed a lot of their songs.
  11. Burning In The Skies -Strong opening -Has some resemblance to What I've Done and New Divide but with less upfront guitars -Beautiful lyrics and singing from both Mike and Chester -Potential single When They Come For Me -Heavy, tribal-like drumming backed by a thick beat -Love the aggression to the rap -Could have been a bit better had it had chorus Robot Boy -Least favorite -All three verses sounded like they should've been choruses -The vocals are soothing nonetheless -Could have easily been titled Weight of the World Waiting For The End -Has a reggae ting to it -Love the rapping. I think it's some of Mike's best bars -The outro is the highlight of the track -If promoted right it could do big things on the charts Blackout -Sounds like two different songs lodged together -Chester's screams are top notch -The bridge and Chester's verses are something new -Probably the most creative song on the album Wretches And Kings -Signature LP only with heavy electronic beats -Aggressive all the way through -The scratching from Mr. Hahn is the icing on the cake -Will probably be the crowd sing along track Iridescent -Very chilling from beginning to end -Mike's singing of the melody sounds almost identical to how Chris Martin of Coldplay would sing. -The guys singing together like a church choir only adds to the greatness -Could also do well as a single The Catalyst -Blends new sounds with signature sounds -Not much else to say that we don't already know The Messenger -All acoustic with underlining piano lines -Chester gives his most emotional performance on this track -Would have liked it if it has been a bit longer Overall is a leg up on what most groups are today. Definitely not "genre-busting" in any way but swims neatly through a very eclectic atmosphere. Love that we've got Mike and Chester on nearly every track again. If anything, that's the one thing we got back from HT on this record. There are only a few minor hiccups. When They Come For Me could've used a predominant chorus and Robot Boy could've worked better as a verse-chorus-verse-chorus kind of song. Other than that, this album shows a strong passion of creativity, and with LP it's only going to get better with every album.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me. There were a couple songs during the MTM tour that Joe left the stage for while they were being performed. And on another note, there's not point to the VMA's anymore. MTV, more like RTV (Reality Television), plays like one music video a month and the show itself has lost all quality to it. I remember Chester saying last year or the year before last that most of the celebrities who attend the show don't even pay attention to acts or the award handouts anymore.
  13. I think this leak should make Warner realize that no matter how much security or protection they or any other label has, they can't prevent new music from their most profitable groups from leaking. Its just not possible anymore. With the way technology is advancing year after year, its possible in the near future songs may be leaked not long after they've just been recorded.
  14. They've all been posted on Songmeanings.com already.
  15. I'm really enjoying the songs. Burning in the Skies could have easily been the next WID or ND had a guitar been upfront in the choruses. Glad they didn't go in that direction though.
  16. I've actually been wondering that myself. I think if they had decided to stick with their signature sound but continue to refine it, the riffs would have gotten sharper, more guitar solos would have been introduced, and the sequencing of the samples, strings, and synths along with the vocals would probably be much like they are going to be on this album.
  17. I graduated high school in 2007 and around that time What I've Done was released. It was weird because the lyrics to the song summarized the transition me and my fellow classmates would be taken from the days of our youth to the future of adulthood and that chapter of our life was coming to end and that we would start again.
  18. I'll say this to you and anyone else who's wanting the old LP back. I'm going out on a limb when I say this, but Linkin Park WILL return to the Hybrid Theory and Meteora sound one day. Maybe not on the next album or the next two or three albums, but its going to happen eventually. Almost every band go back to their roots at one time or another. Hell, Korn's done it twice. Perhaps maybe at one point they'll decide to bring things full circle and put together one last album that has all the signature elements that we came to know them by. But I could be wrong.
  19. Pretty cool snippet. Its good to hear some live drums.
  20. As much as I hate to say it, I have agree on the comment about it not being a collaboration between all six of them. I don't know if its just me, but I really get the feeling that Mike wrote the entire album and the rest of guys came in and commented on what was good or bad. Sure Chester has a helping hand in the final draft of the lyrics, but for all we know he may not have even written a song for this album and just sang what Mike had on paper for him. This may or may not be the case because I am just speculating based off recent fan reviews. The possibility however of this being true cannot be ruled out either.
  21. I've always wondered what Part of Me, Carousel, and And One would be like if they had been rerecorded with Don Gilmore. Heres hoping one of the tracks is a rerecorded and remastered version of one of those songs.
  22. Not a masterpiece but still very well made.
  23. I agree with you with No Roads Left coming after What I've Done. Back when the record first came out, I bought it on Itunes and slipped it in after What I've Done. Because to me as Hands Held High is to No More Sorrow and In Between is to In Pieces, No Roads Left is to What I've Done. Simply because both songs lyrical content is somewhat in league with one another, so it fits perfectly as What I've Done's followup track.
  24. Video looks wicked cool. Definitely think it will be the best video since WID. It be awesome if during "lift me up, let me go" part when Chester comes in we see a slow motion shot of him bursting up through the water with his arms extended out. That would make a killer shot for this video.
