  1. No Incubus at Jiffy Lube Live? FACKIN' BULLSHAT!!! Oh well, guess I'll have to meet up with my boys in CA for a show.
  2. Sounds like of fushion of Somewhere I Belong, New Divide, What I've Done, and Blackbirds. Great song, but not anything groundbreaking. LP has reminded me a lot of Radiohead in recent years. They've continuously experimented with ever album that you forget they were once a nu-metal/alternative rock band.
  3. My Predictions: One Step Closer, Crawling, In The End, Faint, Breaking The Habit, Numb, What I've Done, Given Up, Bleed It Out, The Catalyst, Waiting For The End, and Iridescent will all staying. Papercut and Lying From You will probably rotate in and out of setlists like they have done over the last few years. Tracks like Leave Out All The Rest will probably do the same. No More Sorrow, When They Come For Me, Shadow Of The Day will all probably be removed in favor of the aggressive and slower tunes from the new album. However, they may rotate in out as well. Burning In The Skies, Blackout, Wretches And Kings, and The Messenger will most likely get dropped permanently. New Divide may stick around, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's dropped as well.
  4. That one photo in the alley looks to be a bit of a throwback to the back cover photo on HT.
  5. This would seem like a reasonable PR for these times. Main Stage Linkin Park The Smashing Pumpkins Rise Against Silversun Pickups Cage The Elephant AWOLNATION Revolution Stage Skrillex Billy Talent Trivium Get Busy Committee New Medicine
  6. Their way bigger overseas than in the States. Their International fan base far exceeds their US one. Just look at their wall on their Facebook page.
  7. LP just confirmed the Moscow show on their Facebook page.
  8. Probably be adding Download & Greenfield Festivals to the rumor list soon.
  9. Thousand Foot Krutch can be considered for this category. Their new song "War of Change" sounds nearly identical to a HT/Meteora type song. Skillet is another group. John Cooper has said LP was a major influence for their album Collide.
  10. This is just a theory, but LP seemed to be going to the route Radiohead has taken. You could consider Hybrid Theory and Meteora their Pablo Honey and The Bends, while Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns were their OK Computer and Kid A. So if that's anything to go by, I guess you could say the next album will be similiar to Amnesiac; which means it would be in the same vein as A Thousand Suns but with more guitar parts. Again, just a theory.
  11. Doubt this is true. If they've already written, recorded, and nearly mixed and mastered a new album, I don't see why they would wait to release it toward the end of the year.
  12. I don't mean it should sound like those songs, I'm saying they should do LPU cd with an EP's worth of new songs.
  13. I think it be cool to at least see one of the future LPU releases to be comprised of entirely new songs the guys recorded specifically for that years cd. Kind of like an EP in the vein of Papa Roach's Time For Annihilation and 12 Stones' The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday.
  14. Radiohead kind of went that route. They started off as an Alternative Rock group and than went more experimental/progressive with their later releases.
  15. I know right. It's mind bobbling that some people consider 3-note riffs more amazing than complex sequencing and atmospheric structures.
  16. I wouldn't say they will fall into obscurity but that they would end up like bands such as The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard where they will still play and sell out big venues all over the world but their album sales will dwindle. In other words, they'll still be a recognized act because of "name value".
  17. Brad should be on bass and Phoenix on guitarRob should be on the turntables and Joe on the drums
  18. I'd like to see Mike or Chester do a project similar to what Slash did for his solo album. Make songs that feature different vocalists and musicians on every track.
  19. Disc 1: The Hits 01. One Step Closer 02. Crawling 03. Papercut 04. In The End 05. Somewhere I Belong 06. Faint 07. Numb 08. From The Inside 09. Lying From You 10. Breaking The Habit 11. 20. I actually prefer some of Papa Roach's newer material over their old. The 5 songs on Time For Annihilation were some of their best.
  21. I don't think this whole "releasing albums every 18 months" will happen at all.
  22. The band's new goal: A new album every 18 months. "That would be fucking awesome," Bennington says. "Of course, a big part of achieving this new faster pace of releasing music is shorter touring cycles." Guess that explains why the ATS tour cycle has been extremely short.
