  1. I can't wait to hear the cd. Sure, I was wanting 10 full songs like a lot of you thought there would be, but that's okay. Any LP music, instrumental or not, is better than no LP at all. So I'm grateful for whatever they give to us. To those who are disappointed, well...there's always next year.
  2. Sweet. Can't wait for a ATS demos. I figure will get at least one, if not two. One I'm thinking will be the The Catalyst demo when it was more predominant on guitar.
  3. I wouldn't consider Papercut a mainstream. WTCFM as well.
  4. I think he may have been talking in terms of the US. It's doing well around the world, but from what I gather it hasn't even been certified Gold in the US. So in terms of US sales, the album isn't doing as well as the past records. On the thread's topic, Iridescent can be considered a shoe-in for the third single. The fourth single will most likely be Burning In The Skies. The fifth single is up in the air at this point. It could be When They Come For Me or maybe even Robot Boy, but I wouldn't be surprised if there will even be a fifth single.
  5. I see it as US tour at the beginning of the year, followed by US festival shows in the spring, then Europe at the beginning of summer, US tour during the summer, Asia at the beginning of fall, and then a final US tour at the end of the year.
  6. I voted Numb. It's dark and tells a good tale.
  7. Nope. My prediction is no rotating setlists for Europe or Australia. Maybe even the whole tour. I'm guessing they're back to the "play one set until we're tired of it" mood.
  8. LP looked like Street Drum Corps during When They Come For Me.
  9. If LP formed in 2010 with the HT sound, they would instantly be brushed off by major record labels.
  10. I see the set as: 01. The Radiance 02. New Divide 03. Faint 04. No More Sorrow 05. Given Up 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority 08. Wretches And Kings 09. When They Come For Me 10. Numb 11. Iridescent 12. Shadow Of The Day 13. Burning In The Skies 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Jornada Del Muerto 16. Waiting For The End 17. Crawling 18. In The End 19. Bleed It Out 20. One Step Closer -ENCORE- 21. Fallout 22. The Catalyst 23. What I've Done I don't think we'll see Blackout and The Messenger until the second leg of the tour.
  11. I'm hoping the stage setup and visuals are not too over the top. All that is cool, but too much might cause a distraction from the band's performance. As for the setlist, I think everything will remain the same from the NYC show with Points Of Authority, Lying From You, From The Inside, Burning In The Skies, and When They Come For Me added in. I hate to say it, but it looks like Papercut and Somewhere I Belong have already seen they're final performance for now.
  12. In one of the online interviews, Mike said this was going to be a lot more simpler compared to the last few. Yet, I still can't wait to see it.
  13. Any problem shown in the DVD couldn't hold a candle to how bad things were with Metallica back in 2001 and 2002 as documented in the 'Some Kind of Monster' DVD. But they (Metallica) recovered and continued doing what they do best. If they can overcome losing a bassist, tension toward one another, and members going into rehab...I'm sure LP can get over a few label pressure situations.
  14. 1. LPU and Ustream chats more often 2. Play some big U.S. festivals (Rock on the Range, Lollapalooza, DC101 Chili Cookoff, etc.)
  15. Points Of Authority, Crawling, Lying From You, and maybe From The Inside.
  16. Unfortunately I don't see it happening. Maybe a couple shows here and there but that's it. DBS could have been a moderate success had they been given more exposure. But with very little album promotion, single push, and a proper U.S. tour, the project was bound to tank. It's obvious WB thought that since the lead singer of LP was fronting the group, the album would sell itself. That almost never happens. Any new band, whither they feature one or more musicians from legendary bands, still needs as much promotion as any other new band on the scene.
  17. 01. The Requiem/The Radiance 02. New Divide 03. Faint 04. No More Sorrow 05. Given Up 06. Lying From You 07. Points Of Authority 08. Wretches And Kings 09. Numb 10. Iridescent 11. Breaking The Habit 12. Jornada Del Muerto 13. Waiting For The End 14. Crawling 15. In The End 16. Bleed It Out 17. One Step Closer -ENCORE- 18. Fallout 19. The Catalyst 20. What I’ve Done
  18. 1. In The End 2. Lying From You 3. Waiting For The End
  19. An option to up to five albums with a 20% royalty rate.
  20. I think when LP settled their label dispute with Warner back in 05/06, they signed a new, five album contract. That means MTM was the first and ATS was the second released under the new deal. So that leaves three albums left before they could either be resigned with Warner or be picked up by a different label.
  21. I can't believe that didn't play POA. An LP show needs POA!!
  22. I'd say The Catalyst, What I've Done, and One Step Closer is left.
