It seems like Linkin Park has been making a push to be more directly available to the fans as of late. Like, instead of doing it through the fanclub, they seem to be going directly to the fans as Linkin Park and not the LPU. I think this is a good move as fanclubs are probably losing steam as more and more social networks become popular.

Nice to hear Mike finally making some comments on Warner. EDIT: Mike also says the current Linkinpark.com is an interim site. Also some really interesting stuff around the 30:00 mark. Mike says the music is truly a lot different from Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight, and that they could even let some fans hear new music before it comes out to gauge if we like it. Wow, wonder if he is actually considering that or is just stating that they could do it.

You don't think LP is going to promote their iPhone app? I'd say by the time the game is out/after it's been out a little while it will have received at least almost as much promotion as Download To Donate and Not Alone. And you call Across The Line and Blackbirds rejects; what does that make Not Alone? For the record I don't think any of these songs will be played live, but I'd say Blackbirds has just as much a chance as Not Alone.

It's not that I think they could/would make it better, but LP's sound has changed a lot since HT was first released. At least for MTM, the band has a more raw sound. Plus they could add in any live intro/outros they do. You are right about Reanimation though. Didn't think of it like that.

If there are anymore HT b-sides, then that would be what LPU10 should be. Other than that, and I know LP has said that they would rather make new music than re-record old stuff, but for the HT 10th anniversary it would be cool if they re-recorded Hybrid Theory. There could be new spins on each track, maybe switch some stuff up, I dunno.

Out of Across The Line, Not Alone, and Blackbirds, I think Blackbirds has the highest chance of being played live, because it's being officially released through Apple. I'm not predicting if it will or won't be played though. I guess Not Alone was officially released through them too but that was just a different situation.

Seems good to me, only thing I disagree with are Mike's remixes. I really doubt those were ever intended to be played live. LOATR for instance would just be Chester singing the same line over and over again. Just not something LP is gonna do.

It's gonna be hard to make an album that is better than Death To Analog. That album is just really really good.

I dunno, I feel like that would be such typical LP. LP shouldn't always be so formulaic with the way they structure their songs. I don't think the song sounds like screaming would sound right in it too.

Mike's beats have a very distinct sound, that bass/tap. You can usually tell right away when something's his.

I've said this a ton but Across The Line is nothing special. Annoying pop melody and more bland, vague lyrics. Not that "It's your time" over and over again isn't cool or anything. After all he did scream it so it must be good. Blackbirds should be a lot better than Across The Line at least in my opinion. As for people wondering about why theres no big loud guitar part, there might be as we've only heard like 15 seconds of the song, but I think more of LP's music and especially the new album is going to have a lot less guitar. Electronica has regained its mainstream popularity and more bands recently have been making albums with a lot more synth (Nine Inch Nails and Muse are two examples of popular bands)

Seriously though, the guy is LP's videographer. He's been right there with the band, and seeing as how he isn't actually a band member, he'd probably be more willing to share some interesting stories.

J-K must read LPL. XD They're doing everything LPLers wish LP would do. Somewhat long, candid videos showing footage of new music, putting out a new album quickly, you better be taking notes LP!
