The interview doesn't have anything new, but the second video shows Ryan, Amir, Brandon, Fu, and Elias going through all the gear they use.
Bingo. So we just have to hope that the new stuff is great. And after hearing Rob's description of one new track he did using very tribal drums, plus the whole more electronic vibe, I think the new stuff will be fucking awesome.
..Yeah. I wasn't exaggerating. Anyway...
I wasn't trying to look like a smartass like "haha I already had this and you didn't," I was really just confused. But now we know.
I'm kind of tired of all the band members saying they can't describe the album.
I understand you would rather have people listen to your work, but unless you're doing something extremely different than anything else out there, you could at least throw some adjectives around or something. XD
I'll probably ask how what kind of role Rick Rubin has had thus-far in the album making process.
During MtM he seemed pretty involved making sure the band would find a new sound, but this time around it seems like LP is very set on what they want to do.
Something like that.
Ah! Can you describe the new JK music? You lucky lucky person.
And as for Chester saying it wouldn't be fair for DBS to tour the US, I thought LP and DBS totally had a system worked out where touring wouldn't cut into album time.
People like that seriously piss me off.
There's some girl laying limp on the ground and all you can do is take pictures of Chester and keep yelling his name? He is just a person. No need to worship him like some God.
I've read a few people say this, and I have no idea why.
Alcohol and drugs KILL you. Chester has described waking up in the morning with no voice at all after spending a night binge drinking and partying, and having to chug Metamucil and not talk all day just to be able to perform that night.
If anything the years of abuse are what has weakened his voice. That and age.
...Well meh. That's a killjoy.
And as a few others have mentioned, I think the worst part of this is that Warner could now make a case for making sites like this one take down the downloads to the shows, since they'll be being sold for money and we already have all of them.
Is it confirmed that these are shows from 07-09 only? Anything before?
Not that I'm complaining if they are, there are some gems from the last touring cycle.
