Sanji Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Black out is fucking insane , i cant stop my self to listen to it ! Quote
GigaScythe Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I think Iridescent just might be my favourite song... closely followed by Blackout. Quote
Smarky Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Unfortunately, Bennington still has the adenoidal whine of the most ineffective emo singers, while rapper Mike Shinoda continues to sound like Vanilla Ice - without the street cred. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/m...r=entertainment Quote
Andros Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I think after this, many people can eat his words Quote
Subs Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Blackout rocks. Lets just get that out of the way there. Great album, deffo will need to keep listening. Anyway, my biggest disappointment was it isnt really genre busting. I really expected it to be cutting edge, just in the music atleast, and some songs to me are, others are just poppy. MTM is/was my favourite album btw by them. Its not genre busting, but its amazing. I am not posting where i think it stands because i dont know what to think at the moment. Quote
VavourasLP Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 blackout's music is out of place. doesnt fit at all with the vocals. It should have been a fucking crazy mind fucking track, just like at the little breakdown with the guitars.. Quote
sckofelng Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/m...r=entertainment pure truth in my opinion. i like catalyst from now on /2 cents. Quote
lp_mohd Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 still i didn't hear it its rock?? or pop? haaa??haaa? Quote
Smarky Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Anyone else think requiem/radiance would be an awesome opening to a live show? With that blasting out of the speakers before they take stage? Maybe with a bit of an extended remix of that shizz with Joe coming in and then bursting into an opening song. Quote
luisjs Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 The transition between Fallout and The Catalyst is so cool. Iridescent may be also my favorite song ever. Quote
Subs Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 blackout's music is out of place. doesnt fit at all with the vocals. It should have been a fucking crazy mind fucking track, just like at the little breakdown with the guitars.. There's nothing wrong with it. It sounds perfect. Its like NIN, and thats a good thing Quote
VavourasLP Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 still i didn't hear it its rock?? or pop? haaa??haaa? not rock for sure. Quote
bigbadzosch Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 still i didn't hear it its rock?? or pop? haaa??haaa? it's a new type called "awesomenes" Quote
splitmyDNA Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 i didn't manage it with MTM, but I'm resisting the temptation. Quote
AudioNick Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 All these reviews by newspapers, people etc seem to lead me to think that nothing the band does will satisfy them. I'd love to see them do better to be honest. The NYDailynews link just annoyed me A LOT. Quote
Hornzog Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I see people struggling to find a genre for this album. Genre = Busted? Quote
VavourasLP Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 There's nothing wrong with it. It sounds perfect. Its like NIN, and thats a good thing lol only that part sounds like nin. the rest wont ever get to that.. Quote

roni781 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I think Iridescent just might be my favourite song... closely followed by Blackout. Man, Iridescent is the most beautiful song I've heard. I'm hurry to hear your cover on that one Quote
lp_mohd Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 OK CAN ANYBADY REVIEW THE ALBUM OR I WILL BURN THIS FORUM EHEHEH KIDDING Quote
Subs Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Everything i say is early listening syndrome, but Iridescent doesn't do anything for me. I dont know, sounds a bit meh, i wish I didnt have all these ideas of what the album would have sounded like. Robot Boy, now that IS a song. Quote
dark_master Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 It's maybe the best album I've ever heard. No exaggerating. I'm speechless right now. THANK YOU, LINKIN PARK!!! Quote
