GraDoN Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 "nothings that far when you're near" lol yeag GMYR has got bad lyrics but i like the song, for me IOF blows Quote
ThePretender Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 End of the World, some harmonies by Chester are screwing the song. Condemned is the second song I like to skip. The rest of the album is pretty good. Quote
Eddie Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I voted for "Inside Of Me". It's not bad, it's the song I hear less. From the first time that the song released from DBS Myspace, it didn't touch me.... Quote
AGumby Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I voted Give Me Your Name. I can't into the song at all and it bores me. Quote
LPPRJKT4 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I wanna say GMYN but that song wasn't ev meant for the album anyway so I'm not gonna vote. Quote
Trang Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) "SHOCKHOUND: What's the most personal song on this album for you? BENNINGTON: Every single one of them is pretty personal, but I think the most important one for me is Give Me Your Name." >>Source<< I read this interview today... So the forum-voted worst album song is Chester's favorite. But that is pretty interesting since GMYN is not on his setlist... Thoughts? Edited November 3, 2009 by Trang Quote

Its all up to speculation Quote
Geki Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 The reason he doesn't want to play Give Me Your Name live is probably because he doesn't want people to boo him and tell him that the most important song he has ever written sucks because it's not heavy/doesn't have hip-hop in it. LP fans in general tend to forget that DBS isn't LP and it has absolutely nothing to do with LP so obviously it's going to sound different. It's common sense. Quote

I also think it might be too personal for him to play it live in front of a bigger crowd. Especially since he used it as his wedding song, so maybe he doesn't want to destroy these beautiful memories by playing it to a big crowd that might also not be responding to it that well! I don't blame him for not wanting to play it live, I wouldn't want to if I was him. Into You and In The Darkness both might not be played for the same reasons. I know DBS played In The Darkness acoustically this Summer but that was when nobody knew anything about DBS so he probably felt more comfortable. Quote

I actually think "In The Darkness" is kinda made to be played acoustically when it comes to performing that song live. And it might have been too stressful for the guys to pick up their acoustic guitars during the short sets that they already had. But maybe we will get to hear it in the future--maybe even the studio version Quote
ThunderStrike Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Condemned. I only listen to it when I'm too far from my iPod or too lazy to skip it. Quote

Or maybe they don't play Give Me Your Name live because there are a million vocal tracks on the chorus and nobody in the band to sing them. Quote

VavourasLP Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 (edited) End of The World is a song you easily forget about but it has a nice rock vibe. Fire, Crawl Back In,Too Late,Into You and Walking In Circles are the best.. In The Darkness is freakin awful..sorry you guys that love the song Edited March 28, 2010 by VavourasLP Quote
ChuckCheese Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Christ, My Suffering has never done anything for me. I could never get into it, even way back when we all first heard the demo. Quote
Killerbarbie Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I really dislike Give me your name. It's one of the worst songs from the album imo. No, it IS the worst! Quote
Kruspe Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Absolutely Fire. The only track I don't like, except for the acoustic bridge. Quote
Lotsa_spaghetti Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Mmmeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh..................... Yeah, probably GMYN. EDIT:I really like most of the songs, except for GMYN (As I mentioned before) Itd, and Condemned. Edited April 22, 2010 by Spaghetti Quote
linkinparkholy Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I vote none of them because I just can't vote. I like all. i agree with you i saw DBS live and all the songs were amazing Quote
LPxDC Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 there are no bad songs just songs i hardly listen to or i press skip would probably have to be fire and too late. End of The World is so epic i mean you just want to sing along with the whole Common Enemy Hypocrisy Common Enemy Theocracy and that whole scream haha. great rocking track Quote
Ashwhisker Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 At the beginning I didn't like any of the slow songs, but Too Late, Let Down, WIC, and ITD have definitely grown on me. I still can't stand Give Me Your Name, the singing is definitely Chester at his worst IMO. Quote
Trang Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 @Ash: the falsetto singing makes his voice so different from what we are (very) used to that it makes it hard to accept. BTW, we now have 92 votes and WIC is the only song that had no votes whatsoever. Quote
hahninator Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Christ, My Suffering has never done anything for me. I could never get into it, even way back when we all first heard the demo. This. Hate My Suffering. Terrible song. Quote
