  1. No they aren't...hit the forward/backward buttons on the LPUTV player. The "more videos" page just says "COMING SOON" and doesn't display the others, so that's the only way to access them. Been that way since day 1 of LPU9 (is it ever going to be fixed? Doubt it, this is LPU we're talking about!).
  2. Considering the new song is the prize for beating the entire game, I doubt the beta testers will get to hear it. They probably won't have access to the game long enough to get that far.
  3. I've been singing since I was old enough to speak, and professionally trained as a vocalist since the age of 8. I never said I was better than Chester either. I don't give a fuck if the guy has a bad night here and there. But it DOES bother me that a vocalist of Chester's caliber has been consistently out of tune during live performances for the better part of the last 3 years straight. Talented singers don't just forget how to sing in tune for no reason. Chester's voice is just not right currently, and it's been that way for quite a while. I'm more concerned for him than anything. And whoever decided to hide this topic - Censoring criticism isn't cool.
  4. Play the show, collect the money, go to MFR's website and click "Donate." Seems pretty simple to me.
  5. That's funny, because I was half-assedly singing along to this performance really quietly at like 3 in the morning, and I was more in tune than Chester was. I'm not the world's greatest singer by any stretch, either. When are people going to quit making excuses for Chester's decline in singing ability on stage? If you're using the "bad night" excuse for him being out of tune, then he's only had maybe a dozen "good nights" in the last 3 years.
  6. LOL, there was never even a rumor that he WOULD be on this album. The first time it was ever mentioned was in an interview where they said that he WOULDN'T be on it.
  7. The higher parts are pretty much cringe-worthy. Chester's voice sounds like it's just about shot. I'm trying to be optimistic and think it's a result of recording with LP...but I'm having a hard time chalking it up to that alone.
  8. http://www.lplive.net/shows/20040131.php This was the only time they played Are You Gonna Be My Girl?, it was not played in Seattle as stated in the show notes.
  9. Wal-Mart operates stores in Canada, and there was an announcement recently about the LPU9 CD being for sale in Canada, so I'd imagine that's where the original poster is from. The Best Buy deal is U.S.-only as far as I'm aware.
  10. I'd be extremely surprised if another Fort Minor album happens within the next 5 years. And guys, there's no way that was a freestyle. There's a total of one instance in known history where Mike attempted to freestyle, and that was on the Wake Up Show...where he made it about 3 lines and gave up (the other verses he rapped were written previously, from Dedicated and another unknown song). Anything that's that structured and he can spit so effortlessly was obviously written in advance. Still trying to figure out if this is an existing Roots song or not.
  11. Who is actually surprised and or/really gives a fuck? I've been saying September all along. I'll stick with that.
  12. http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20091203.php and http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20091211.php http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20090730.php and http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20090801.php http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20091019.php and http://www.lplive.net/shows/DBS/20091023.php Shall I go on? Your argument has more holes than a block of swiss cheese.
  13. Inside of Me is easily the worst song on the album, and Fire is one of the 3 or 4 best.
  14. You say that as if Dead By Sunrise has a wide variety of songs to choose from in the first place.
  15. Every show Linkin Park has played since the beginning of 2007 has been recorded.
  16. Don't be surprised if there isn't a CD single for Inside of Me. It was already released to radio, and it's on the digital version of the Let Down single, so they might just shoot a video for it and leave it at that.
  17. I think if LP ever did another mashup album, it should be with a classic rock band. It would bridge a gap just as much as working with Jay-Z did, but it would sound totally different.
  18. Yeah, they back up to the previous "section" of each song, I'm just saying it doesn't really make much sense to list a song twice in the setlist unless they started over from the beginning like they did with Crawling at Oklahoma City.
  19. They'll probably talk mostly about Download to Donate. Mike just posted info about 8-Bit Rebellion being pushed back earlier today so I doubt they'll focus on that much. The typical Loveline LULZ will be great though. Especially because Brad is probably the last member of the band I'd expect to go on Loveline.
  20. Like I've said before, I'm sure LP has a system in place that allows them to focus on things that require Chester's participation while he's around, and work on other stuff when he isn't. This run in Asia is only 3 shows long, then the European tour doesn't start for almost 3 weeks. Chester will probably go right back into the studio with LP when he gets back from Asia, having only been gone for about a week. They might spend these few days focusing on guitar or drum tracks, or something like that. The album is still far from being finished. I don't even think they're done with that second batch of songs yet. Chester being gone for a week then coming right back and being available for almost 3 more weeks is holding up the album? Seriously?
  21. Dead By Sunrise's second of two Tokyo performances is coming up tonight, this time at Shibuya AX. Last night's show saw the live debuts of Into You and the album version of In the Darkness, does the band have any other surprises in store for us? Does anybody have any pictures/video from either Tokyo show? Update: Setlist: 01. Fire 02. Inside Of Me 03. Morning After 04. Too Late 05. Let Down 06. Walking In Circles 07. In The Darkness 08. Into You 09. End Of The World 10. Condemned 11. My Suffering ------------------------------ 12. Crawl Back In 13. 20 Eyes (The Misfits cover) Thanks to Elias for the info! Setlist photo here and show page here.
  22. http://www.lplive.net/shows/20020208.php - Song numbers jump from 11 to 13. http://www.lplive.net/shows/20020220.php - Papercut and APFMH weren't actually "stopped and restarted" at this show, they just stopped in the middle of the song, and once the crowd calmed back down, they picked up where they left off. So the "Take 1/Take 2" stuff is unnecessary (Crawling from Oklahoma was different, they actually did stop and restart the song there).
  23. I'm sure they could add some other covers from the Bucket of Weenies repertoire, but I think Chester (and a lot of other major-label artists) has the mindset that fans don't buy tickets to a show to hear a bunch of covers. If you want to hear a cover band, you can just go to a bar, you know? I think that's also part of why LP has never been very big on playing cover songs. As for Julien-K, it would make sense, but a lot of DBS fans aren't Julien-K fans, and vice-versa. I think Chester should just play Give Me Your Name acoustic by himself, it'd probably translate better live that way than it would if they tried to pull off the full band version. And remember, filling up a full headlining time slot is something every new band struggles with when they only have one album out. LP had the same problem in 2001-2002. Look at PR 2002, they were playing everything from Hybrid Theory except Cure for the Itch, plus Step Up, My December, My Own Summer, and And One/It's Goin' Down, and their sets were still barely over an hour long.
  24. I think sometimes he screams "breaking apart" one more time after that, but on most live recordings it just sounds like "RABLABLAH!!!!!"
  25. Sweet, if they stick to this set and somebody records good quality video of one of the upcoming shows, I might finally be able to figure out In the Darkness on guitar.
