Uhh...you guys do realize that Rob's done LPU chats since the one where he talked about Drum Song, right? His last one was only like 4 months ago, and it was one of the best ones ever in terms of new information.

Considering Chester's stated several times that he doesn't intend DBS to be a one-time-only thing, if they're going to make more music somewhere down the line, why wouldn't he want to know what they could do better the next time around? Obviously he believes in the music he made with this album, and a lot of people seem to like it, so that doesn't really explain why DBS wasn't very successful commercially. There are other areas that need to be improved on if DBS is ever going to amount to anything significant, and fan feedback is a good way to find out what needs to be addressed. You can bet that if DBS makes another album, Chester's going to revamp their management team significantly and focus on doing better promotion. The number of people who have mentioned DBS's lack of promotion isn't going to be ignored.

DBS WAS NOT booed off the stage at Epicenter. "Booed off the stage" implies that the band cut their set short and left because people were booing them so much. That did not happen, therefore they were not booed off the stage.

Bottom line: Until we can hear the record and make our own judgements, anything that comes out of the mouth of any of the band members that attempts to describe it can be taken with a huge grain of salt. Look at everything that was said about how MTM sounded vs. what it actually sounded like. When you're pushing a new product, you try to give it as much mass appeal as possible, so you find every adjective under the sun that you can use to describe it. It's what I lovingly refer to as PRBS - Public Relations Bullshit.

No they aren't...hit the forward/backward buttons on the LPUTV player. The "more videos" page just says "COMING SOON" and doesn't display the others, so that's the only way to access them. Been that way since day 1 of LPU9 (is it ever going to be fixed? Doubt it, this is LPU we're talking about!).

Considering the new song is the prize for beating the entire game, I doubt the beta testers will get to hear it. They probably won't have access to the game long enough to get that far.

I've been singing since I was old enough to speak, and professionally trained as a vocalist since the age of 8. I never said I was better than Chester either. I don't give a fuck if the guy has a bad night here and there. But it DOES bother me that a vocalist of Chester's caliber has been consistently out of tune during live performances for the better part of the last 3 years straight. Talented singers don't just forget how to sing in tune for no reason. Chester's voice is just not right currently, and it's been that way for quite a while. I'm more concerned for him than anything. And whoever decided to hide this topic - Censoring criticism isn't cool.

That's funny, because I was half-assedly singing along to this performance really quietly at like 3 in the morning, and I was more in tune than Chester was. I'm not the world's greatest singer by any stretch, either. When are people going to quit making excuses for Chester's decline in singing ability on stage? If you're using the "bad night" excuse for him being out of tune, then he's only had maybe a dozen "good nights" in the last 3 years.

LOL, there was never even a rumor that he WOULD be on this album. The first time it was ever mentioned was in an interview where they said that he WOULDN'T be on it.

The higher parts are pretty much cringe-worthy. Chester's voice sounds like it's just about shot. I'm trying to be optimistic and think it's a result of recording with LP...but I'm having a hard time chalking it up to that alone.

Wal-Mart operates stores in Canada, and there was an announcement recently about the LPU9 CD being for sale in Canada, so I'd imagine that's where the original poster is from. The Best Buy deal is U.S.-only as far as I'm aware.

I'd be extremely surprised if another Fort Minor album happens within the next 5 years. And guys, there's no way that was a freestyle. There's a total of one instance in known history where Mike attempted to freestyle, and that was on the Wake Up Show...where he made it about 3 lines and gave up (the other verses he rapped were written previously, from Dedicated and another unknown song). Anything that's that structured and he can spit so effortlessly was obviously written in advance. Still trying to figure out if this is an existing Roots song or not.

Inside of Me is easily the worst song on the album, and Fire is one of the 3 or 4 best.

You say that as if Dead By Sunrise has a wide variety of songs to choose from in the first place.

Every show Linkin Park has played since the beginning of 2007 has been recorded.

Don't be surprised if there isn't a CD single for Inside of Me. It was already released to radio, and it's on the digital version of the Let Down single, so they might just shoot a video for it and leave it at that.

I think if LP ever did another mashup album, it should be with a classic rock band. It would bridge a gap just as much as working with Jay-Z did, but it would sound totally different.

Yeah, they back up to the previous "section" of each song, I'm just saying it doesn't really make much sense to list a song twice in the setlist unless they started over from the beginning like they did with Crawling at Oklahoma City.
