Hmm, let's test that theory... Songs played on the Meteora touring cycle: Papercut One Step Closer With You Points of Authority Crawling Runaway By Myself In the End A Place for My Head Pushing Me Away (Piano version) Foreword Don't Stay Somewhere I Belong Lying From You Hit the Floor Easier to Run Faint Figure.09 Breaking the Habit From the Inside Nobody's Listening Session Numb P5HNG ME A*WY FRGT/10 My December My December (Piano version) It's Goin' Down Hip-Hop Medley Wish QWERTY Reading My Eyes Total: 32 songs played over a span from February of 2003 to August of 2006. Songs played on the Minutes to Midnight touring cycle: Papercut One Step Closer Points of Authority Crawling Runaway In the End A Place for My Head Cure for the Itch Pushing Me Away Foreword Don't Stay Somewhere I Belong Lying From You Faint Breaking the Habit From the Inside Session Numb Wake Given Up Leave Out All the Rest Bleed it Out Shadow of the Day What I've Done Hands Held High No More Sorrow Valentine's Day In Between In Pieces The Little Things Give You Away My December (piano version) QWERTY Reading My Eyes We Made It New Divide Total: 35 songs played over a span from March 2007 to August 2009. Not only did LP play more songs on the MTM cycle than the Meteora cycle, they did so in far less of a time span. So once again, your argument makes no sense. I also find it HILARIOUS that you would argue LP "played the same setlist all the time" starting in 2007 when 2007 was when they started the rotating sets - Up until then, if you went to two shows on a Linkin Park tour, barring unusual circumstances, you were almost guaranteed to see the same setlist. Nope. And generally speaking, MTV2 covers Bamboozle every year but there is hardly any actual proshot footage of the performances that gets aired on television - Most of their coverage is backstage stuff, interviews, stuff like that, and if there is any live footage, it's usually filmed from the crowd and doesn't have SBD audio on it.

This is far from a "minor game," it's been in development for over a year and is essentially a full-blown MMORPG in mobile format.

Yeah, Julien-K needs to release more live stuff (the exact opposite of LP with their non-album tracks). Why not release the video of the whole Moline, IL show or some more stuff from PR07? They obviously have a lot of live stuff in the can, and they don't sound bad live at all, so I don't see any reason for them not to. The majority of their remixes suck anyway, to be honest.

And the press release from DBS stating they're on hiatus came out when...? Christ, they were still on tour less than a month ago.
-
The album was "Redneck Games," the mixtape was "Redneck Olympics." You're probably thinking of the former.
-
I had this years ago (although I lost the mp3 quite a while ago, so thanks for the download), this mixtape came out in late 2004/early 2005.

Too Late is being used in promos for the series V on ABC now, so this may actually have some merit.

It's from a live version, no idea what show. -
Get It was produced by Scoop DeVille - no involvement from Mike.

Why on earth would this NOT happen at some point? You guys are way to quick to rule things out. Any LP song without screaming in it is pretty much game for being translated to an acoustic version...

I think i know why 8-bit rebellion is taking a bit long...

All iPhone/iPod Touch apps are automatically iPad-compatible. This is a non-issue. -
That thing on FTI at Brisbane is purely a DSP editing issue - The sample plays just fine throughout the intro on the audience bootleg from that show. There were several times early in the MTM cycle where Chester came in too early with the "put me out of my misery" part on the Given Up and totally screwed up the song. The version from Berlin '07 was a total train wreck because of that, and he did the same thing at Webster Hall too.

If they're asked, I see no reason they wouldn't do it.

Well when 75% of the Linkin Park fanbase is openly sick of hearing about DBS news and just wants him to can the whole thing and work on the new LP album, I don't exactly blame him. If the majority of my fans were ungrateful for me giving them an album's worth of new music and touring the world to play it for them, I'd want some answers too.

When has he said that? Minutes to Midnight didn't sell as well as LP's first 2 albums, but he still talks about it being one of the greatest things they've ever done...

Music For Relief is the type of organization that you can "help" without having to donate money or even take part in one of their official projects. If MFR is doing a tree-planting campaign in the U.S. and you want to help from Europe, organize a tree-planting campaign in your area. It doesn't have to have the MFR name on it, if you're working towards a common goal, it's much appreciated. Another thing you can always do, since MFR is a nonprofit organization, you can organize an independent fundraiser in their name and then donate the money to them.

Not happening. The band has said numerous times that they have zero interest in re-recording songs. The working title for In Pieces was "Pictures." How many times does it have to be repeated that this song was never finished? Lame. Take a listen to the bootleg - It was nothing special at all.
-
For the sake of classification/convenience, it's probably better to still call it a "demo," but those 3 examples all still bear musical similarities to the final versions and have essentially the same arrangement. This remix is so different that it sounds like they essentially threw this one out, recycled a couple of the synth samples and the lyrics for Zion's verse, and made a new remix.

It doesn't even work. It still sends you the Brad's Yo ringtone when you try to download it. -
Very cool! It has a few small similarities as far as samples go, but overall I would hardly even classify this as a demo of "Plc.4 Mie Hæd," it's pretty much a different remix entirely. Even Zion's verse was re-recorded on the final version.

*Copy-pastes from other thread* Typical insurance company BS. How the hell can they claim that 2 slipped discs in your back was a "pre-existing condition?" Last time I checked, Chester didn't have to walk with a cane or anything like that prior to him messing up his back.

There's one obvious difference I can recall off the top of my head, the first part of the intro to A Place for My Head is cut off on LPU 3, and just starts when the guitar comes in.

1. Why the hell would I tell them to get rid of Rick when I think he is approximately 34956754697596754689 times better a producer than Don Gilmore? Re-read my list more carefully, over half of it is from Meteora. 2. Give me a couple months with a Pro Tools rig to learn all the nuances of the software, and I probably could produce a Linkin Park album...but what does the producer have to do with this anyway? The producer doesn't write the songs, the band does...except in the case of Don Gilmore, where he then makes the band re-write the songs over and over until most of them suck ass and have little to no relevance to the original inspiration for writing the song in the first place. 3. To anybody who has ever heard truly good music, at least the top 3 songs on my list would indisputably qualify as complete shit. I suggest people who think Numb and Hit the Floor are great songs go listen to some Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin or The Who, then give those songs another listen, and if they still think they're so "great," they should probably buy some stock in the company that manufactures Q-Tips. I could write a song like Numb in less than an hour.
