  1. Could just be that Mike's involved in one of the many new projects Ryu's been working on ever since Tak split from the rest of the crew. He's been plugging GBC quite a bit. I think the fact that Mike's not the one sitting at the computer makes it kind of unlikely that this is for something new with Fort Minor.
  2. DBS continuing to exist at all is apparently something that the majority of people on here don't like.

    New Divide Live

The Macao version has a great intro, but the performance of the song itself isn't very good... I might try to put the Macao intro on the Transformers premiere version sometime.
  4. It wouldn't be in the German version of Rolling Stone and not be in the English version of Rolling Stone. I guarantee this is a case of "lost in translation."
  5. Why WOULDN'T they? The game is being released to the general public, an unreleased song gives people incentive to buy it, and Rolling Stone is a major media outlet that will inform people about it that wouldn't have known otherwise.
  6. Mike referred to Across the Line as "a brand new, unreleased song," and that was from the Minutes to Midnight sessions. http://www.mikeshinoda.com/blog/special_ev...d_track_listing The band has used that EXACT phrase, "brand new song" to describe any song that is previously unreleased on numerous occasions. I almost guarantee that it's another MTM b-side if it isn't an instrumental track like Lockjaw.
  7. There's always the possibility of DBS announcing more dates though.
  8. LOL! It's being made by the same company that did Amateur Surgeon and 5 Minutes to Kill Yourself? This makes me want this game even more! I hope some genius can crack the game and make a version that's playable on Windows.
  9. There's no page for the Slash & Friends show yet, but I don't know the info for that one off the top of my head anyway. LESTAT probably does.
  10. Yes, we do. We have since the day after the show: http://www.mikeshinoda.com/blog/charity__e...__deftones_show Nobody's bothered to add the show page yet. I'd do it if I knew how. *Edit* I typed up a "show page" style thing just to organize the setlist a bit better from what's currently out there: 01. Rocket Skates 02. Lotion 03. My Own Summer 04. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 05. Feiticeira 06. Elite 07. Knife Party 08. Korea 09. Street Carp 10. Change (In the House of Flies) 11. Passenger 12. Xerces 13. Savory (Jawbox cover) 14. Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event 15. Jailbreak (Thin Lizzy cover) 16. Back to School (Mini Maggit) 17. No Ordinary Love (Sade cover) 18. (Rock) Superstar 19. Head Up Show Notes: -Mike played keys on "Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event." -Many of the guests from the show came out for the final song, "Head Up," but Mike was not one of them. -Other guests included Rodleen Getsic, Ben Kenney (Incubus), Greg Puciato (Dillenger Escape Plan), Rick Verrett (Team Sleep), Shaun Lopez, Jonah Matranga, and Chris Robyn (Far), Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Xzibit, Dominic Garcia (Phallucy), B-Real, Sen Dog, and Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill), Julio G, and Richie Cavalera. Other Notes: -First of two benefit shows for Deftones' bassist Chi Cheng, who was left in a coma after a car accident in November of 2008. Other Bands: -P.O.D., Far, Cypress Hill
  11. http://www.lplive.net/fm.php - GUEST APPEARANCES - 19.11.2009 Hollywood, CA, Avalon, Benefit for Chi Cheng (Deftones show) http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2987 http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3018 http://www.mikeshinoda.com/blog/special_ev...t_show_tomorrow http://www.mikeshinoda.com/blog/charity__e...__deftones_show Where have you been? lol. No. The video never worked in the first place. I guarantee AusNeil is lying.
  12. Are you ever going to make an intelligent post?
  13. Me either.
  14. Maybe they'll offer a free download of a show of your choice for LPU members? That's about the only other thing I can think of.
  15. You must really have a thing for Finnish people. Ever been to Finland? Let me guess, your favorite song is Breaking the Habbit? Uhh, read Mike's quote again. He didn't say those songs are completed, he said "they're in all states of completion." Meaning they could be anywhere from brand new seeds that consist of nothing more than a beat and a scratch vocal track, to completed demos. The band has 5 songs that are mostly done, and everything else still needs to be finalized. This album is nowhere close to finished. Mike just said they were approximately "halfway done" a couple weeks ago... Some of the guesses on the release date in this thread are optimistic to the point of being absolutely delusional. Minutes to Midnight was pretty much finished by the end of January in '07, but it took them until the middle of May to release it. LP could finish this album TOMORROW, and the absolute earliest it would come out is sometime in April. Once an album is done being recorded, there are still months worth of planning and promotion that have to be done before it can be released. That's just how major record label timetables work. I'm still completely confident that the album will be out this year. But the absolute earliest I can see it happening is August, and even that's a stretch. No.
  16. 99.9% sure it's not the new song from the game. Why the hell would they release the song online first when it's the final prize for beating the game? That wouldn't give people any incentive to buy the game in the first place, which is the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do when marketing a new product... Anything DSP-related doesn't make much sense to me either, other than maybe announcing it to the LPU first (which isn't anything special anyway). The DSPs are probably going to be for sale to the general public, there isn't a whole lot they could do special for the LPU involving them. It's probably a preview of the game.
  17. They seriously should just release the whole show as an EP on iTunes or something. It was a 5-song performance and we already have 2 of the songs, I think it's pretty stupid not to release the full thing.
  18. Other than the unreleased studio version of 20 Eyes, it's not like they really have anything else.
  19. It was on the radio promo, but there still hasn't been a physical CD single release of Let Down. The only place you can actually purchase Let Down right now is online as a digital download. Also, the release date (February 12th) is a week before the start of the DBS European tour. It's probably being released then to help promote the shows.
  20. This pretty much backs up my initial thought - The band really likes Inside of Me and would like to release it as a single, but Let Down is probably going to be the last single, so they released Inside of Me on the digital version of the Let Down single just to give it some promotion.
  21. I don't think it'll happen, just based on the fact that DBS already did several joint shows with LP at the beginning of their touring cycle.
  22. I really have no idea. What I just told you is about all that's ever been said about the band by anyone who was in it. Chester's never mentioned it, and Sean's barely said anything about it.
  23. If you were to ask Jeff Blue, he'd probably put himself at #1...and probably 2 through 5 as well.
  24. Clear, The Platinum Lotus Foundation, Ten PM Stocker, and Probing Lagers are several, Clear being the only other one they really liked (but it was taken already).
