xcursedgravex
I will join LPU as soon as possible. But I am wondering why everyone here has the CD right now? In which country has it been released? Could someone tell some details about Figure.09 demo? (what are the main differences?) It's mostly just instrumental with Chester laying down a different chorus, but it sounds a lot heavier and he has some wicked screams in it. nkramar
Figure.09: by far my favorite song on this ep, I would've loved to hear this version fleshed out more and completed. The ending is so much heavier than most of anything they've done. More fleshed out? These are demos, right? Want completed? Have a listen to Meteora. xcursedgravex
More fleshed out? These are demos, right? Want completed? Have a listen to Meteora. I know, but most "demos" that are released or leak out are more finished than any of the songs on the cd except Across the Line. These are what I would consider to be like demos in their rawest form or something. I just figured it would be more like all the Hybrid Theory demos Basically I want to hear what that version of Figure.09 would've sounded like completed with a full production and stuff, cause from that little bit its just as good as the Meteora version imo Edited November 23, 2009 by xcursedgravex Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/3044-lpu-90-cd-discussion/page/2/#findComment-47097 Share on other sites

Trang
I'm somehow disappointed... I was expecting that every song would be complete without "duh nuh nuh"... Also, BTH should have lyrics... And Runaway and By Myself are also just instrumentals... I wanted lyrics... Well... This is a great cd to acquire overall, but duh nuhs and instrumentals really made me sad. Across The Line is really nice, though. Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/3044-lpu-90-cd-discussion/page/2/#findComment-47103 Share on other sites

lplfan
My last statement of the day is: What the hell was LP smoking when they didn't put both "Across The Line" and "No Roads Left" on the album but put "In Between" on it? i agree with no road left ... but i disagree with "Across The Line" ... cause ... "Across The Line" doesn't sounds as LINKIN PARK..... "Across The Line" is a good efort , a nice song ... .BUT not LINKIN PARK ... this is my opinion... Tomer
I like how mike sings "Fighting for a place we can call home" with the kinda weird voice Thats just awsome It doesn't sound like mike haha rapping sounds like 50cent, and singing i dont know but deffo not mike we heard mike on in between, his voice doesnt sound anything like it LPLFan: it sounds very much as linkin park, just a different song structure.... I think you can compare it to New devide:) anybody got the lyrics of the songs? lpaa9
Here are the lyrics! Faint (demo 2002) Back, before I said goodbye, Just as the first day turned to night, Just as the concrete turned to dust, And the steel turned into rust, All I could think was I need a way to dig through the damage, Couldn't think of a way to get through this, Now I see you takin advantage, And I found another reason to do this. I'm diggin us a hole to travel through, I wanna find a way to rattle you, You wanna try to hear the thunder hit, You're gonna have to follow me under it. Let go, it's begun, Close your eyes, I'm not done, Breathe a word, and waste your breath, And keep it up till there's nothing left. Now, that I said goodbye, Just as the darkness turned to light, Just as the next light turns to day, And the world gets underway, All I can see is the anticipation, Waiting to take this out on the wind and the raindrops, And I waited patiently taking it in, Ready for the first of the face offs. I'm diggin us a hole to travel through, I wanna find a way to rattle you, You wanna try to hear the thunder hit, You're gonna have to follow me under it. I'm diggin us a hole to travel through, I wanna find a way to rattle you, You wanna try to hear the thunder hit, You're gonna have to follow me under it. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fear (Leave Out All The Rest demo 2006) Looked in the ocean, Looked in the sea, Found her laughing, Watching for me, Left the door open, Left the door wide, (unintelligible), Kept it inside. (Nonsense rapping) Don't trust if you don't then you're fightin' for what? Fightin' for a place, We can call home. Lookin' for a way, Not be alone. I'm fightin' for a place, We can call home. Lookin' for a way, Not to be alone, Not to be alone. Duh nuh nuh, Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh, Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhuhh. Duh nuh nuh, Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh, Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhuhh. Duh nuh nuh, Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh, Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhuhh. Duh nuh nuh, Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh, Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhuhh. Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuhuhh. Fightin' for a place, We can call home. Lookin' for a way, Not be alone. I'm fightin' for a place, We can call home. Lookin' for a way, Not to be alone, Not to be alone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Figure.09 (demo 2002) All these things I could not say, made me so much more afraid. Just too scared of what I'd find, to look behind, to look behind. All these things I could not say, made me so much more afraid. Just too scared of what I'd find, to look behind, to look behind. If you go, there's no turning back. If you go, there's no turning back. If you go, there's no turning back. there's no turning back! No, no, no, no, no, no... NOOOOO! NO TURNING BACK! NOOOOO! NO TURNING BACK! NOOOOO! NO TURNING BACK! NOOOOO! NO TURNING BACK! All these things I could not say, made me so much more afraid. Just too scared of what I'd find, to look behind. All of these things I could not say, made me so much more afraid. Just too scared of what I'd find, to look behind, CAN'T LOOK BEHIND! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Across The Line In this desert, In darkness, Lying with the gun across his chest. Pretending, He's heartless, As the fire flashes in the sky. He was fragile, And frozen, When the bullet took away his friend. And now he's somehow, More broken. He's pulling his weapon to his side, Loading it full of his goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. He's pulling his weapon to his side, Loading it full of his goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. Sweating, And shaking, Lying with her hands across her chest. She wakes with, Her cravings, As the fire flashes in her eye. She was fragile, And frozen, When the needle took away her friend, But now she's somehow, More broken. She's pulling her weapon to her side, Loading it full of her goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. She's pulling her weapon to her side, Loading it full of her goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. With every battle he's chosing, With every fight he's losing, His enemy's not far behind. With every promise she's broken, With every lie she's spoken, Her enemy's not far behind. It's your time. It's your time. It's your time. It's - your - TIME! He's pulling his weapon to his side, Loading it full of his goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. He's pulling his weapon to his side, Loading it full of his goodbyes, Holding an enemy across the line. Subs
I pretty much have no chance of getting this anytime soon due to being in UK and its massive wait time. So, until it leaks, describe !
