[AndOne] Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 It all depends on what the contract says, if it specifically says they have to play the album in its entirely, they'll do it. Quote
gorast Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Didn't Mike already say that they're not going to mess with the album? Why is this even being speculated on? Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Didn't Mike already say that they're not going to mess with the album? Why is this even being speculated on? They have lied many times in the past so it wouldnt be.a surprise if they do a huge medley. Quote
lgr Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 What if they do a huge HT medley? That would be pretty much false advertising then and would lead them into some troubles I guess. troubles? yeah, Joe screwing it up Quote
hahninator Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I am surprised the setlist for this tour doesn't include Forgotten or By Myself...those will really be one-offs. Pushing Me Away too. Hope they nail them! Great interview! Quote

Hope they nail them! Great interview! I don't think they will use only one setlist for the whole tour, in my opinion they need to play BM and Forgotten more than only at Download Festival. Quote
hahninator Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I don't think they will use only one setlist for the whole tour, in my opinion they need to play BM and Forgotten more than only at Download Festival. I am 99.9% sure they will use the Tucson setlist for the first eight shows in Europe. The festivals I bet won't get an encore and the headlining shows will get one. No encore Tucson set: Lisboa Rock am Ring Rock im Park Greenfield Encore Tucson set: St. Petersburg Moscow Wroclaw Milano and Download gets its own setlist. Quote
GlassCastles Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Honestly, the way the setlist is set up, they could make changes on a show by show basis. I'm not saying they will, and they probably won't, but it's possible. Quote

thedamian58c Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I have a few hypothesises: 1. EURO tour will have totally different setlist than Tucson 2. They want to liberate BM and Forgotten and PMA at Download festival, and add them to the setlist afterwards 3. They will do small changes (for example changing Runaway with By Myself) in the setlist when touring Quote
Geki Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I think they will keep the Tucson set for most of the European promo run, except for Download, I think that will have it's own unique set (obviously). Then LP will change the set up a bit for Carnivores, adding more tracks from THP and maybe some other stuff. Quote
linkin_boss Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I am surprised the setlist for this tour doesn't include Forgotten or By Myself...those will really be one-offs. Pushing Me Away too. Hope they nail them! Great interview! I believe they can be played at carnivores tour, they can always be rotated if they play more tan one setlist in that tour, and I don't think they would rehearse so much a song just to play it once. Maybe Pushing me away will rotate with crawling, ballad medley or cog. meanwhile forgotten or by myself could have shortened versions rotated with with you, poa or runaway. Quote
[AndOne] Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I think parts of the Tucson sets are too ravey and slow, they shouldnt do that at festivals. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I think parts of the Tucson sets are too ravey and slow, they shouldnt do that at festivals. If they played Fallout, Jornada and al those shitty interludes during the ATS tour.. why not Blackout or Robot boy? Quote
felipeintheend Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Since they did a rehearsal for the whole HT album, they might use some songs for the new setlists. BUT, we have to keep on our mind that we have expected a LOT of different setlist over the years and it didn't happen at all. Quote
lgr Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I don't see any reason why they wouldn't play some of the other 'rarer' HT songs throughout Europe prior to Download, they're contracted to "HT in full" to Download only, but they could definitely use it as an opportunity to "rehearse" live. Quote
Astat Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 My prediction for the setlist:01. The Catalyst/The Requiem02. Guilty All the Same03. Given Up (w/extended outro)04. Wastelands05. Blackout (Shortened instrumental)06. Papercut07. One Step Closer08. With You09. Points of Authority10. Crawling11. Runaway12. By Myself13. In the End14. A Place for My Head15. Forgotten16. Cure for the Itch17. Pushing Me Away18. Burn it Down19. Numb (w/Numb/Encore intro/outro/first verse guitar)20. Faint (w/extended outro)[Encore]21. Until It's Gone (w/extended No More Sorrow/The Catalyst intro)22. What I've Done (w/extended bridge solo)23. Bleed it Out (w/extended intro, extended bridge w/drum solo and The Catalyst refrain, extended outro)I know this may seem a little short, but with them playing the full versions of Papercut, With You, Crawling, and Runaway, this actually comes out to about the same length as their current setlist, if not slightly longer. Projektion Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 ^ I'd probably say Mike's solo would get included as well if they play the Numb/Encore intro to Numb, Since the solo kind of leads into it. Quote
Geki Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 What if they play High Voltage? Remember the Digby tweet? Quote
Astat Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 What if they play High Voltage? Remember the Digby tweet? Absolutely no way in hell. Quote
RogueSoul Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Mike could change his solo to WaK/RTN/RME/HV (since I don't think any single verse from RME or HV would fill in the entire slot used for the longer verses like STB or WTCFM) Quote
Justin Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Absolutely no way in hell. I love your optimism, man. Don't lose that. Quote
