  1. I've played some like this in the past and it just takes too long, in my opinion. edit: my vote goes to Cure for the Itch
  2. I got this idea from over at the Nine Inch Nails forums. You vote for your least favorite song from the album and after 1-2 days, the song with the most votes is voted off and the next round begins with voting for your least favorite out of what's left. Changing your vote is allowed by editing your original post. Feel free to discuss reasons why you thinks songs should go/stay as long as it stays civil and you can clearly tell which track you're voting for. So, here's the songs from Hybrid Theory to vote on. 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. Points of Authority 5. Crawling 6. Runaway 7. By Myself 8. In the End 9. A Place For My Head 10. Forgotten 11. Cure for the Itch 12. Pushing Me Away If people like the game, we can continue with Meteora and Minutes to Midnight when we're done with Hybrid Theory. Just thought it would be a nice way to kill some time before the album drops.
  3. I would like Valentine's Day a lot more if the final part didn't include the words "on a Valentine's day" over and over again. To me it just kills everything the track did up to that point. It seems cheesy in my opinion. Other than that, it would be one of my favorite tracks from Minutes to Midnight.
  4. I just can't possibly look at No Roads Left as part of the album (or Home either on With:Teeth) because both of those would ruin the absolutely perfect album closing of The Little Things Give You Away (and Right Where It Belongs).
  5. But it's remixes of the songs off of Hybrid Theory, therefore making it a remix album. Linkin Park has 3 studio albums
  6. I thought it was pretty cheap that they threw that bridge sample at us for the first look. They knew that people would assume rap verses, sung choruses with that clip.
  7. Why would you compare such an awesome song to such a crappy fast-food place? Also, Figure.09 is my favorite song from Meteora.
  8. Never cared for his music, but his impact on music is undeniable. He was a legend. R.I.P. Michael.
  9. It's been said by more than just one person that this is pointless or that Mike is laughing at us. It's just starting to get on my nerves a little bit.
  10. I really don't think that Mike is doing this "for the lulz." I'm sure that the puzzle has an actual solution and it is an achievable solution. It's a game for the fans to find out information about the new album. I think that the message says that the new album will be ground-breaking (the phrase is in there) and will be a double album (burst forth at once or whatever it said). Also, it appears to allude to the end of summer (the brightness falls bit), which may be a release date (such as the September 24 release date that has been previously posted about.
  11. Are we looking at a double album perhaps?
  12. i like the song, but i also see why they decided to keep it off minutes to midnight and release it as bonus content from the game. it's not the best song ever, but it has it's own little things that make it good.
  13. i'm sure they've brought it to more people than just that one DJ

    QWERTY

anyone got a link to the 07 version. i've never heard it.
  15. just be glad it's not the Nine Inch Nails definition of soon that means a year or more.
  16. i love the piano versions, but it seems like a waste to have 6 members on stage with only 2 performing.
  17. here's my theory: the new album is 13 tracks long and is called Message. this image will be replaced by a sub-site for the new album.
  18. he said it was a leftover demo from MTM that they didn't like at the time.
  19. maybe they heard the first single that's going to drop tomorrow ...i can dream, can't i?
