  1. nine inch nails' albums "ghosts" and "the slip" were both released right after they were finished. "the slip" even got through mixing in 24 hours
  2. i think (not sure) there are DSP's of the shows they played live with linkin park.
  3. if i wasn't already crying because my cat's being put down soon, you would've just made me cry. R.I.P. dio
  4. i think it'd be fun to play the drums on this...maybe
  5. i'll likely give this a listen later today. it combines my two favorite bands!
  6. i've got a friend who's last name is mohammad. just saying and i live in the U.S. edit: so there's a chance of unheard lp then...however unlikely
  7. i know that there is. i'm just saying that i (and probably most people here) don't consider it a part of the album because it's not on all versions of the album. i'm not trying to start an argument. i'm just pointing out that it is a MTM outtake and not an actual A-side album track. you asked why i considered it an outtake and i told you why.
  8. but the standard edition (the one with the track listing as intended) ends with TLTGYA even the deluxe edition with the book and dvd ends on TLTGYA that's the end of the album and i literally have THE ALBUM as well
  9. i don't think there's an 8-bit blackbirds, but i could be wrong since i don't own the game but the other 8 songs are in the game in 8-bit format. that list is probably accurate as to which 8-bit songs are available. edit: it doesn't say blackbirds is 8-bit...so yeah, i guess that is all the "new" tracks available in the game
  10. since when do bands have to give constant studio updates of their new album?
  11. No Roads Left wasn't on the album. it was a bonus track. the album ended with The Little Things Give You Away
  12. forgotten figure.09 what astat said about forgotten and figure.09 sums it up perfectly in between not alone i don't get why everybody hates these 2.
  13. where is everybody by nine inch nails would work really well with linkin park. mike can rap the verses and chester can do the choruses. it'd be cool. enjoy the silence (mike's remix) would be cool to cover as well. i'd like to hear chester singing that song. they should also bring back my own summer by the deftones. that was one sick cover. or, though i don't know if this counts as a cover, they should play fuse by xero
  14. i forgot how different chester used to look lol
  15. but crawling is the emo version of crawling and i totally agree with the BB and POA comparison that was actually one of the first things i thought when i heard the song
  16. 1. One Step Closer 2. In Between 3. Figure.09
  17. NRL isn't the final track on the album though it's a bonus track
  18. i can relate to crawling because i'm whiny and annoying ...just kidding lol i'll think of a serious answer later...i'm too tired to right now
  19. Blackbirds is at the least an evolution of something written during Minutes to Midnight (which is the same as with Not Alone). Blackbirds is the 6th string song.
  20. is this all we know of coming out of the linkin park camp until the new album, or are there some collaborations in the near future?
  21. 1. Across the Line : although it does seem unfinished, it still is a great song...and i'm listening to it right now 2. Not Alone : loved this song as well...don't see why everyone hates it. i love the ending especially with the keyboard riff and the scratching. it reminds me of the adore album by the smashing pumpkins, but not in a rip-offey sort of way. 3. No Roads Left : love me some mike singing. great voice. 4. Lockjaw : great instrumental. i love mike (in a totally non-gay way) 5. New Divide : like has been stated - it's what i've done part 2. this isn't a bad thing by any means, but it does make it seem a little less-than-spectacular 6. Blackbirds : the intro is unnecessary but beyond that, i like this song a lot, but not as much as the other 5
  22. i'd like to see blackbirds intro over POA so we can actually hear what mike's saying lol
  23. I thought it would be cool to see how people would rearrange the track list of Minutes to Midnight to include the outtakes/b-sides from the album. No Roads Left and Across the Line are undoubtedly outtakes from MTM while the argument can be made to include QWERTY and Announcement Service Public since they were recorded during the early portion of what would become the MTM recording sessions as well as Blackbirds and Not Alone since they are reworkings of demos that were recorded originally during Minutes to Midnight and completed for other projects (Download to Donate and 8 Bit Rebellion respectively). All in all there are six outtakes that have been released: Announcement Service Public QWERTY No Roads Left Across the Line Not Alone Blackbirds So my question is, where would you put them? You can rearrange the entire tracklist if you feel that would be necessary to make it work. It's up to you!! My tracklist: 1. Wake 2. QWERTY 3. Leave Out All the Rest 4. Blackbirds 5. No Roads Left 6. Announcement Service Public 7. Given Up 8. Valentine's Day 9. Not Alone 10. Bleed It Out 11. Shadow of the Day 12. What I've Done 13. Hands Held High 14. In Between 15. In Pieces 16. Across the Line 17. No More Sorrow 18. The Little Things Give You Away
  24. if somebody could rip the audio, that'd be cool
