  1. There will always be exceptions, of course. But, I believe, most people who pay that much for an item wouldn't want to diminish the value of that item even if it is to benefit the fan-base at large. And again, a big thank you for She Couldn't. It's always cool to hear unheard stuff from your favorite bands.
  2. Well one has 2 slashes and the other has 3 slashes. 2 divided by 3 is .666 which is very similar to 666. And yes, I know that 2 divided by 3 is .66666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666... but that's not the point. The point is LP are satanic and their satanic practices are holding up the new album.
  3. I really like the Minutes to Midnight era logo. If they keep it, I'll be fine. They don't need a new logo for every album.
  4. I would love to see Chester take the backseat for this whole album. Mike can do lead vocals on 80 percent of the album (singing and rapping), while Chester does backup singing and some screaming. I'm a Mike fan, what can I say? Oh yeah, and I want another really cool instrumental like Session.
  5. It would be cool if they released a handful of b-sides on the deluxe edition of the album...similar to what they did with No Roads Left on Minutes to Midnight. But, you know, with more than just one.
  6. If I wasn't at the Library right now, I could unscramble the image. The dang comp doesn't even have paint!!
  7. Here are the results of the now-completed round: Forgotten 2 In the End 3 Crawling 2 Pushing Me Away 1 In the End is gone and here are the remaining songs: 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. Points of Authority 5. Crawling 9. A Place for My Head 10. Forgotten 12. Pushing Me Away My vote goes for Crawling again.
  8. I want Mike to do some rapping and some singing.
  9. If it sells for an amount that massive, I wouldn't expect it to be shared.
  10. I think that they feel like it's a nice amount to have on the album...or it's just a coincidence that they decided to keep that many that they thought were good enough for the album.
  11. In the End 1 Runaway 6 With You 1 Forgotten 2 Crawling 2 The results are in and Runaway is done. The remaining songs are: 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. Points of Authority 5. Crawling 8. In the End 9. A Place for My Head 10. Forgotten 12. Pushing Me Away
  12. There should be something on there about the first single coming August 2.
  13. Here are the results for the last round: Forgotten 4 In the End 2 By Myself 5 Papercut 1 Crawling 2 Runaway 2 By Myself is no more. The remaining songs are: 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. Points of Authority 5. Crawling 6. Runaway 8. In the End 9. A Place for My Head 10. Forgotten 12. Pushing Me Away My vote goes to Crawling again.
  14. Cure for the Itch has been voted off. Please vote for a different song from the 11 remaining.
  15. It looks like Cure for the Itch is done. That leaves: 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. Points of Authority 5. Crawling 6. Runaway 7. By Myself 8. In the End 9. A Place for My Head 10. Forgotten 12. Pushing Me Away I'll get the voting started with Crawling.
  16. I'd rather hear Chester covering a song I don't hate, so I'm very happy with him covering the Doors.
  17. There was a lot of Mike on Minutes to Midnight. He played keyboards, rhythm guitar, sang backup, rapped, sang lead on a couple songs... Mike was all over MTM.
  18. I'm gonna enjoy hearing Chester sing some Doors. This is gonna be great!
  19. I think that recording the new album is holding up the new album.
  20. I agree 100 percent. What I've Done was a much-needed song for Linkin Park. It's amazing that they made such a good song in as short a time as they did. I'm not saying it's the greatest thing since sliced bread or anything, but it is a very solid track that really transitioned the old Linkin Park sound with the new sound.
  21. I would like to think that they wouldn't have changed anything and that the direction they go is based solely on their artistic intent, but I think the only reason that they could afford to take the risk they did with Minutes to Midnight was because Meteora was so successful, allowing for more "brand recognition" so to speak that allowed them more freedom. So, in short, they would've either made a crap album very quickly or they would've bowed out silently after two albums and went their separate ways.
  22. I love Cure for the Itch. It's an awesome instrumental, but I just think that the other songs on the album (with the exception of maybe Crawling) are better than it. Linkin Park brought their A-game for their debut album.
  23. He looks like my physics teacher from 2 years ago.
