Is this single going to be physical release at all or only a digital release?
-
Have you listened to MTM, ATS or THP? Because those all have songs over the 5 minute mark. Several on each album, actually. The time length shouldn't matter on a song anyways as long as it's a good song, but yeah.

'm pretty pissed off right now that I just found out that they dropped Black Heart. Love the song. -

Anyone know if Julien-K plans on doing a vinyl release for this? -
Ok, you got me. MTM has been my favorite album since I first heard it in 2007.
-
Great news. I can't wait. LT is my favorite LP album and this sounds very similar to it, most likely because it was created during the LT era, but still.

I've never had an experience like that before. I've had to stand all day long without even eating, drinking or using a bathroom for multiple hours just to make sure I had a good spot up front in the pit. Fuck that. It was fun doing that when I was like 16 and 17 during Projekt Revolution 2007 & 2008 but it's not fun anymore for me. I'd rather just get a good seat and hang around the venue, maybe get something to eat, drink water, etc.

It is from an in-studio session in March of 2007. It was included on various releases of MTM in 2007.

I like your list man. Thanks. I agree with you on everything. Camden 2012 was epic, that was the first time I ever met you and Jonas and other LPL members.
-
No, I think it's just the backing vocals at the beginning, he muted out the main chorus part from Chester.

I think this thread will flop. I guess we should just use this thread to talk about past shows, favorites shows, etc. and I will choose shows based off of that.

I got this idea today that I want to work with. I am going to create a CD book and fill it with a ton of LP stuff, etc. and I wanted to know what everyone on LPL thinks was the very best show of each album cycle (not including Reanimation, Recharged, etc., only the 6 main albums). You can only pick one show because I don't want to have too much live stuff in my book. For example, I choose Rock am Ring 2014 as the best show of THP cycle (unless a show in 2015 beats it, which I highly doubt). Maybe what show you thought LP performed at the best or a show that you felt captured the feel of the album, etc. Also try and make sure there is a source for the show you choose, whether it be SBD or audience because I want to create a CD for each of the 6 album cycles. Feel free to elaborate on why you think it was the best show, etc. The year time frame would be this: HT - 2000 to 2002 Meteora - 2003 to 2004 MTM - 2007 to 2008 ATS - 2010 to 2011 LT - 2012 to 2013 THP - 2014 to 2015

Whenever the next LP tour in the US is, I don't think I'll be getting pit tickets for any of the shows that I attend. I had a really fun time last year on Carnivores and I only had pit at one of the shows. I like having seats because you don't have to worry about rushing to the venue early and you don't have to fight to get to the front. You also can enjoy the venue and walk around and talk to people, eat some food, etc. And a lot of the times, the sound is much better in seats then front of the pit.

Linkin Park is always going to take #1 place when it comes to any of the guys in the band. Fort Minor, Dead By Sunrise and Stone Temple Pilots will all take a back seat when it comes to anything Linkin Park related. I think it's a matter of time of when we will see another FM album, but I don't think Mike is rushing it. If Linkin Park is going to go write a new record in September, then they will do that. FM was largely inspired because Mike felt like he couldn't write that kind of music in Linkin Park at the time. The same thing happened with Chester and DBS, Chester felt like at the time, the DBS music wouldn't fit with Linkin Park. STP is a different thing, kind of similar to when Chester did covers with Camp Freddy and BOW in a way, it's more of an honor to his heroes, if that makes sense, at least IMO. But both Mike and Chester have said a lot of times now that Linkin Park can now write anything and that's why they channel their FM and DBS influence into LP's music as of right now. Mike in 2015 is different then Mike in 2005.

I really love this one. I'll do ATS next. The Requiem - Haunting. The Radiance - Regret. Burning In The Skies - Destruction. Empty Spaces - Soldiers. When They Come For Me - Rebel. Robot Boy - Delusion. Jornada Del Muerto - Journey. Waiting For The End - Hopelessness. Blackout - Murder. Wretches And Kings - Fight. Wisdom, Justice, And Love - Brave. Iridescent - Expectation. Fallout - Doom. The Catalyst - Obliteration. The Messenger - Love.

Nice... haha. But seriously, IMO, it's because the website was the biggest piece of shit ever invented with TONS of errors and a LOT of people not being able to download their purchased content. Management would not email people back about it either, etc. Also because we as fans were downloading a lot of them, but at 9.99 a pop, that's understandable, IMO, for people who want to collect them all. But I think they were intended for people to just buy the ones that they attended, not collect every single DSP, etc. So prices went bad.

I think we have a better shot of seeing stuff like And One being performed instead of stuff like mmm...cookies, instrumental demos from LPU albums and stupid shit like Bruiser, Asteroids, etc. being performed. I've seen people ask the band to play all of those things and it makes me cringe. Why waste a question asking someone in the band that? Obviously they aren't going to play mmm...cookies or random instrumental demos that the band probably even forgot existed and especially the stupid Stagelight demo shit. Asking the band to play And One is a legit question and I would definitely sign a petition for the band to play shit like that.

Thanks man. I really love War so I decided to go with that instead of Papercut but they could be swapped around every other show or something, that would be cool. I love Papercut as well.
-
Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to have old and new DSP's, I was just making a point that may have contributed to their downfall years ago.
-
I've been to a show with numerous people before and they don't care about bootlegs or anything like that because they have already heard the show first hand. Some people are into live tracks, a lot of people aren't. Most people would rather just listen to the actual album and say ''hey I saw Linkin Park perform this song before''. You have to understand that we are not the big demographic, most fans that go to shows or the the other way. They were also pretty expensive IMO so I think that turned a lot of people off.

No, I meant like what album session it origins from. Like we know Warm Spell (Devil's Drop) is from LT since we saw it in various making of things for LT. EDIT: I only ask this because we know what the rest of the songs origin from, except Dancer. White Noise: THP Mal Rx7: ATS It Goes Through: ATS Devil's Drop: LT The Last Line: MTM/ATS I think Dancer may be from ATS. If you look at the demo board for ATS in the OP, it looks like Dancer might be above Primo?

Anyone know what album Dancer is from?

Chester looks like he is in decent shape judging by the Crackerman video. Not jumping around like usual but that's pretty obvious that he won't be doing that. His voice sounds the same here so that is a good sign.
