  1. Honestly, as strange as that sounds, I could see it happening. LP has been doing tons and tons of clothing collabs and stuff over the past few years and they seem to really be into it, not to mention the whole ''Linkin Park is a business now'' thing that was talked about in 2015. Either way, it will probably still be a while until we get any info about any of it.
  2. Haha, thought so.
  3. Another thing that I wanted to discuss about LPU tracks in general (demos we have been getting since LPU9). Aren't the dates wrong for a lot of them? I know some of the fanbase has figured out that some are mislabeled and stuff, but I was wondering why that is? Does Mike just forget when they were made and he throws a date on them? I usually just edit the ''(xxx Demo)'' out of the track title on my iTunes for these because it annoys me but I was just wondering if it was ever talked about.
  4. Very interesting... Maybe he isn't working on a song for LP's new album after all? Seems more of like a collab of sorts like you said, in terms of merch or something else, maybe a remix, who knows. I don't think there would be a Blackbear logo with the LP logo as the ''L'' if he were simply collaborating on a song for the album unless he produced the entire album or something.
  5. I'm going to just end up burning them all on a CD to keep in my collection.
  6. As a physical collector, I literally hated the bi-monthly digital only thing that they did. I hated it back when Fort Minor did it with the Militia as well but I never thought LP would do it since they usually release stuff physically.
  7. When I saw this thread back in the Newswire I thought it may have been released somehow online years later, similar to how the LP & The Visionaries track was released way down the line. But nope... Haha.
  8. Wow. It's incredible to see how far this site has come along. The hard work really shows. I honestly believe that LPL is the best website on the internet for Linkin Park related anything. Thanks for making it that way, LPL. B )
  9. Cool that the LP camp is using VyRT again.
  10. This is cool, just got around to watching these.
  11. It's crazy how little the LP community as a whole are responding to this Chester with STP thing. I don't think anyone cares. Whenever LPL tweets about it or whatever, hardly any one replies or retweets, etc. You're lucky to even even see like 2 people respond to the tweet. This is why I don't think the Chester with STP thing should be in the news wire, because it seems like very few people actually care or are interested. How are the ticket sales on this tour? I know they are playing super small places compared to what LP sells out but I'm just wondering if people are maybe just not responding about this project on social media but are still attending shows for this project, etc. I personally don't really care ALL that much about this whole Chester with STP thing, but I think these pre-show posts are cool for the few people who care about the Chester with STP thing. I say good work on them.
  12. I originally hated ATS but I now love the album and wonder how I ever hated it to begin with.
  13. I will. LPU is better. LPL sucks because it's nothing but nu-metal fans who hate everything else. MTM sucks, OOA sucks, ATS sucks, LT sucks, Recharged sucks, THP sucks, Darker Than Blood sucks, etc. These people aren't true fans if you ask me. You were s fan of the old LP, but it's 2015 now. The ship sailed in 2007.
  14. If I lived next door to Hahninator I would play EDM and Living Things on full volume all day and night.
  15. So when is Chester leaving Linkin Park? Soon?
  16. It's so fucking frustrating to have been a fan of Linkin Park for such a long time and read these comments. Not just in this thread about this particular song, but in almost every thread with new music in it. Linkin Park tried so hard to break out of the nu-metal stigma in 2007 and they did. But somehow, they've still managed to keep these fans who only accept the first few albums and consider everything else to be shit. 8 years later and you still read these comments. I personally get extremely offended when I go on a website that is supposed to be a ''fan-site'' and have to read comments by the creator of the site that this is ''downright garbage'' just because he doesn't like it. Music is fucking subjective. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that someone as doesn't. I happen to really enjoy this song. Mike and Chester did a great job and I enjoy both of the collaborations they have done with Steve Aoki. I wish they would do more with Steve, to be honest. Linkin Park is a band that isn't afraid to take chances and expand themselves and I love that about them. I just don't love the fact that there are still these type of people that are fans of the band. If you don't like it, that's fine. But you don't need to say that it's ''downright garbage'' just because it's not something that you personally enjoy. It just seems weird to see someone who is the creator of a fan-site for Linkin Park saying that.
  17. They should stick to whatever the fuck they want to make.
  18. What are you talking about? Luna was a demo from the band, it was probably created during the ATS or LT era. Stage light is just a bunch of random seeds and sounds from the LP vault. That's all it is. It Goes Through was the final title given to Luna when Mike mixed the songs in October of last year. If you watch the end credits of the movie, Luna is still listed under the credits. They are the same song.
  19. I wish Chester did more of the vocal work on this but other than that, the track is great. Has a nice beat and the whole song just has this awesome groove to it. Big fan of this track. I like it more than ALTNC. Anyone have transcribed lyrics yet?
  20. Great fucking song.
  21. Austin is fucking great dude?
  22. I've been playing Let Down ever since I heard the live version in 2005. I love the album version and I also love the live versions. It's a great song, IMO. If you've ever been through a bad break up or divorce, it's a great song to listen to. But on top of that, I love the melodies.
  23. Sorry, but I completely disagree with you. I think Ryan has an awesome voice and he is pretty good at guitar, too. Amir is one of the best guitarists of our generation, even Chester has said that before. Fu is definitely talented, and so isn't Frank Zummo. Street Drum Corps is great and he brings it to the live show for Julien-K, too. I love Death To Analog, but I also loved We're Here With You and the few new songs I've heard from their new album are good as well. At least IMO. Amir has said that he is aware people enjoyed the industrial sound of their first record but he said that wasn't entirely who Julien-K was and he feels like they have found their sound now.
  24. Well, it's just a matter of opinion. How is it ''invalid'' if Ryan and Amir wrote the music with Chester and then Brandon and Elias, who were members of Julien-K at the time, and FU then worked on it, too? They were all of Julien-K. I agree that the album could have been better if they released it how they intended to in 2006 but honestly, there would still be some of the electronic Julien-K flavoring on it. I think the big thing everyone hates about Dead By Sunrise was that they feel it was over produced. I understand that. All I'm saying is that there were some good songs on the record and I wish people didn't shit all over it.
  25. I thought he used that guitar at the BOW show in 2005 at Club Tattoo.
