That's why at festivals like Warped Tour here in the U.S., a lot of bands only get to play like 7 songs or so, because there are so many bands playing in one day.

Idk, I wouldn't want to film at a show, either. Whenever I go to a LP show, I go just to enjoy the show, I barely even take photos or videos, etc. I feel like it takes away from the experience. I know recording a show is different if you aren't using your phone since you can still enjoy the show that way, but yeah. I remember my first LP show, such an epic experience, Bamboozle 2007! Carnivores and The Honda Civic Tour 2012 were both huge Summer USA Tours and they were in August and September. Seems likely and I don't mind it at all. Great time to see LP. I love late Summer and my September is my birthday month so hell yeah.

I bet the package might be pretty good. I usually like the t-shirts, just not every year, but most of them. They should have the album out by next November so I think they'll want the LPU shirts to look cool since they'll be doing a world tour and a lot of fans wear them to shows

I wish LP would play in South America more, I agree with you. I don't live in South America but the band should try and be fair to all parts of the world and not just only Europe like they have been.

I really hope that Linkin Park plays India on the next album cycle. India has been waiting FOREVER and I'm always seeing people asking about it. Yeah, that logo is from the MTM Era, they stopped using that logo when they released ATS.

Their studio work is so great, they put so much work into everything. I guess the main point of this thread was to appreciate the work that LP puts into their releases. Something that is a little bit more rare nowadays.

Lol they always use random songs in videos. They used Heartburn (2007 Demo) from LPU XIV in the last studio update video. I don't think it means anything. But I do think the new album will be very experimental at times, like both of those tracks kind of are, and poppy in some ways, too.

I hope LPU16 is good. LPU15 had a few tracks that were good, like Animals and Chance Of Rain, but overall, I don't think it was that great of an LPU CD compared to some previous years.

It's funny that people are saying LP's poppier sound on the next album won't fit at these big Euro rock festivals. You're correct in assuming that, it won't. But the poppier sound will fit FOR SURE in the United States. Pop is immensely huge in the United States right now and has been for the past few years. It's only getting bigger. If LP has a huge poppy single and it hits radio here in the United States and does well, it could be big for the band. But the Euro rock and metal festivals will hate it. Oh well, IMO, because The Hunting Party was very rock and metal driven and Europe got a shit ton of touring from LP in 2014 and 2015. It's time for some United States shit.

You know what, it's fine the way you guys are doing it, doesn't bother me, and it makes sense to do it that way. But yeah, that Machine Shop 2015 acoustic set shouldn't count, IMO.

Well, you can always use your own artwork in iTunes and stuff, you can pick whatever image you want. And when looking through the art for the albums, the art books and stuff, there is different stuff, really cool art with some of them like MTM and ATS if you look through the books. That's more what I meant when I said looking at the artwork while listening to the albums. But yeah, a change up with the next album cover away from black and white or gray would be cool. Maybe a blue.

I don't undestand why promo shows like TV Total 2007 or the Grammy Awards 2006 count as shows. They aren't a show to me. The band doesn't even consider them as shows. In 2006, they said Summer Sonic were the only shows they played in 2006. IMO, there should be an entire section for promo shows and shit like that. You can't compared one song at the Grammy's in 2006 with a Summer Sonic show.....

I really enjoy reading the stats and summaries, etc. and all that stuff. The gallery for shows is also awesome. Thanks to everyone involved with it, it's really fun to scoll through different tours, etc.
