  1. YES!!! I will be at the show.
  2. Linkin Park needs to book a show in Los Angeles, CA.
  3. Sounds good to me.
  4. Wow, cool, another new place (Hungary as well) on this cycle.
  5. ''It should all be about the album 100%.'' A+ Agreed 100%.
  6. Would be interesting to hear early versions of BITS and Iridescent with the speeches infused in them.
  7. Could have been Warm Spell which was released on MALL as Devil's Drop. We know it was from the LT sessions under Warm Spell and it could have been completed back then in 2012, since The Last Line was completed either in 2007 or 2010 thanks to Neal Avron's mix credit, we know that. IMO, it fits perfectly after UIB's ending. If UIB didn't blend into Tinfoil, it would fit.
  8. I like Tinfoil honestly but I agree that it could have just been one track with Powerless, especially since the original version of the song was like that. I also think Empty Spaces and Foreword are both stupid, they could have been added with WTCFM and Don't Stay for sure. Also, good point about Consequence and Pods. No point in taking up track space to do those. LP actually has a lot of examples of this stuff that I didn't notice really. Oh, yeah, that makes sense then, good point. I think they do have too many of those types of tracks on recent albums. I misunderstood, I thought he was talking about the non-single songs on the main albums. Sorry JZE. The thing about UIG that always annoyed me is that it sounds nothing like anything on THP even remotely and you can tell that the band kind of forced it on the album. Final Masquerade is a slower song but it fits with the rock sound of THP because it's more of an alternative rock style song. UIG you can almost tell it was made for a movie/radio/commerical type of approach and it didn't really belong on THP, IMO. They could have chosen another song from THP sessions to make the cut over it.
  9. Yeah, so I'm thinking maybe Bruiser and Space Station were demos from the band's actual vault, where as the others were more or less created with StageLight. I bet both Bruiser and Space Station both hail from the ATS era.
  10. So Bruiser, Space Station and Complimentary are all original tracks, and weren't created from various sounds like Asteroids and the Jams were? I thought Asteroids was an original song as well, interesting to know that it's just a song created by all the sounds.
  11. Well, it was just my opinion, I didn't try to pass it off as fact.
  12. Well, that's your opinion. I guess anyone can think something that isn't a single is ''filler''. I happen to actually enjoy some of the non single songs a lot more than actual singles. To me, I think 99.9% of the music that Linkin Park creates is amazing. I'm such a die-hard LP fan that I think LP music is 100% better than anything created by any other musician in history. But I don't really see how this logic means that we will get better stuff. Surely, not every single song will be a single, most likely. So having another album worth of music would mean even more ''fillers'' for you. Let's just see how the music sounds and let LP do whatever they want. I'm positive that most people here will love the music, just like I know I will.
  13. Would be cool to have a fan from the HT days to be able to write some stuff, etc, IMO. I didn't become a fan of the band until 2003 so I missed the entire HT era.
  14. Interesting! Thanks for sharing. Not really, because if my memory serves me right, you got to hear the song through a ''music video'' consisting of random images via the app once you beat the game, it wasn't really released as a single or even released as a free download, etc.
  15. How were Bruiser, Space Station, Complimentary and Asteroids all released with StageLight? Were they included as free mp3's with the software? And what's the story with Loop Jam 1 and Loop Jam 2? Pardon my ignorance, I just really never paid much attention to these releases when they came out. Also, was Blackbirds ever released as a single of any sorts in 2010? I know it was included as a bonus track on the iTunes edition of ATS but I could have sworn it saw some other form of a release, like a digital single or something, somewhere.
  16. I honestly forgot about that LPA interview thing that Mike did last year. It would be cool if they were to do something like that. On the other hand, I think LP really needs to come back STRONG with this new album, in order to sustain their position in the music world. They fell off a bit in recent years. They need to have a number one single and a number one album again. And also have a hard hitting tour with a huge support act as well. So I'm kind of actually wanting a proper release for the first single, where we get a release date and the single drops that day, basically identical to how Burn It Down was done in 2012, that was perfect to me. But yeah, giving away a short clip to the major fansites like LPL, LPA, LPCatalog would be cool. LPU isn't a fansite really. I think it would be cooler for a literal fansite like LPL to get a clip.
  17. Wow, looks like they are going to be doing a full scale South America tour this time around. Pretty cool. And they've already put together a pretty extensive tour of Europe, playing a country they have never played before (Hungary), as well as a lot of other European countries and not just Germany. I think they're going for a literal full globe tour for the most part with this album which is cool.
  18. Idk, I just never really liked when bands do double albums. I'd be fine with LP doing the usual 12 or 13 maybe tracks for the album and giving us some more with either an iTunes EP or through LPU CD's, etc. Sometimes less is more powerful, at least to me. I've really enjoyed how Linkin Park have crafted all of their albums over the years and they still want to make an ALBUM and not just do singles or bullshit half the album like some bands do nowadays. 12 is always a good number to me, but I wouldn't mind 13 or maybe even 14.
  19. Double albums are gross.
  20. Wonder if the other shows will be recorded.
  21. Wth thanks for pointing that out.
  22. Yeah, it's just kind of strange to me to do that. I'm honestly thinking that LP is going to do a typical August/September tour in the U.S.. I'm not even mad about it, nothing wrong with it. The thing about the U.S. is that they should be able to play random shows here without having to do a full blown tour. They could do shows in NYC, LA and a lot of other cities across the country and do fine. The ATS release show in NYC comes to mind as one of the many examples.
  23. What a terrible quote... I would consider myself a hardcore fan and I live in the U.S., am not a gamer and never have been and was not pleased with the last set list they used on tour. I also know a lot of fans who are over 35 years old and I'm not sure why the gender bit is necessary, that's irrelevant 100% anyways, and I've seen HEAPS of people complain about the last set. It's not like they have ever even polled the fans on whether they liked the set or not anyways, and I don't think they've been actively asking fans at M&G's and such whether they like the set or not, so that's also kind of a strange comment. I think what he was trying to say was that they have a diverse fanbase, maybe? Very weird quote. A fan is someone who enjoys the music that they make, nothing more, nothing less.
  24. Well, with ATS, it wasn't as bad, IMO. After Projekt Revolution 2008 in the U.S., they took the rest of 2008 and half of 2009 to write for the album. We got Road To Revolution in late 2008 and Songs From The Underground as well. LPU8, too. And then we got New Divide in the summer of 2009, as well as a pretty good tour in 2009. Then LPU9 came out which was the first LPU to have all demos on it, so that was exciting, we also got ATL from it. Then in early 2010, we got Not Alone, as well as 8-Bit Rebellion! and Blackbirds as well. Then The Catalyst came out in summer 2010 and then album in September 2010, followed by a world tour for the second half of 2010 and most of 2011, etc. The wait in between Meteora and MTM was super long but we knew the band was taking a year off for 2005 as confirmed by the band. So we waited a year and a half for MTM in reality (January of 2006 until March 2007 when WID came out). This time around we've only received Things In My Jeep during the break (DTB came out before THP cycle ended). The Visionaries and Linkin Park demo getting released in 2015 was cool as well, too. But like linkinepi said, we basically had no tour in 2016 (unless you count that China performance of only Chester and Joe) which will be the first year in the band's history that we had no shows. We also had LPU15 and LPU16 during this wait but we've always had LPU albums during the waits. I'm not even that worried about the wait anymore, though, it's getting closer to the album release and I expect a single in January or February. Once the first single comes out, I never mind the wait.
  25. This is going to be a good album. Just hate how long the wait is this time around, I got used to the short time frame of LT and THP. But the music seems really promising and interesting. I also think it will be a 12 song album, but there's nothing really wrong with that, IMO. Maybe we will end up getting the other songs on LP Underground releases or other stuff like they did with the MTM tracks that didn't make the album.
