Pez Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Pros. Faint, WTCFM, OSC, and ND are all encore worthy songs Im going to get flamed for this but Lying From You > Papercut IMO Good to see FTI in there Cons. Breakings gone Messegner gone (Im dying!) Ive started a trend with Faint now. Quote
Spin Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Brand new setlist! Nice. I like the encore. Catalyst is in a weird place though. Quote
kurtis912 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Awesome set list apart from the exclusion or Breaking The Habit! Would love to see two recognisably different sets for Sydney though... I was thinking Don't Stay, APFMH and if they are daring enough and have Jay-Z there.... Hip-Hop Medley!! Who agrees? Quote
sublimeric Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 "Brand New" is kind of bastardized, since they just switched around the order of the songs and added one that's been on both live DVD's AND played regularly since '03. Love the encore order, though, and hope they step up the setlist variety for the US tour Quote
feelthless Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Shuffling the songs doesnt make the setlist new to me, though I like this one the most But i have only one wish: 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches & Kings 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. No More Sorrow 07. From The Inside 08. Jornada Del Muerto 09. Waiting For The End 10. Wisdom, Justice, And Love 11. Iridescent 12. Numb 13. The Radiance (Live Version) 14. Burning In The Skies 15. Fallout 16. The Catalyst 17. Leave Out All The Rest 18. In The End 19. Bleed It Out (A Place For My Head verse 1 & bridge) ---------------- 20. Empty Spaces 21. When They Come For Me 22. Crawling 23. New Divide 24. Faint (with a fan on guitar) 25. One Step Closer Quote
Braininator Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I'll write up a full show report in the morning. What a night though. Quote
lewiethefly11 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 That makes two LPlive members to play guitar on Faint... It was me and it was awesome. I'll write a Pez style experience for you all to read if you want. If anyone got any pics or vids please hit me up. I really liked the setlist... Lying From You and From The Inside went off. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Cool that they changed up the setlist a bit. I liked the other one better, but this one's nice too. Quote
FCastro Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 FINALLY! even was only swapping songs, it's better than the same order every show :] Quote
matassi Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I like the new setlist (OSC or Faint or APFMY should always close the show). The only thing that I don't like is that they are playing Numb instead of Breaking the Habit. If that song was inserted then this setlist would be one of the best. Quote

DecanoLP Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 This setlist is pretty sweet. Good to see From The Inside back again and the encore is blowing me away. I love the fact that Crawling is in it now Quote
LMK Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) SOTD brought down the energy by Alot Edited December 9, 2010 by LMK Quote
maatze Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 To be honest... I don't really like numb that much and BTH... I'am not gonna miss it^^ Quote
Qwerty95k Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 nice set but wheres BTH , i like lp to play set a like this one day 01 : Session 02 : Given Up 03 : From The Inside 04 : Wretches & Kings 05 : Papercut 06 : Points Of Authority 07 : New Divide 08 : Faint 09 : No More Sorrow 10 : Empty Spaces / When They Come For Me 11 : Waiting For The End 12 : Wisdom , Justice & Love / Iridescent 13 : Numb 14 : The Radiance / Breaking The Habit 15 : Shadow Of The Day 16 : Crawling 17 : What I've Done 18 : Bleed It Out (A Place For My Head verse 1 & bridge) --------------------------- 19 : Fallout / The Catalyst 20 : Burning In The Skies 21 : In The End 22 : One Step Closer Quote
JustinLydard Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Well we all know that they will probably never stop playing "Numb" because it's one of their most known songs, and all the people who aren't like totally IN LOVE with LP like we all are, more than likely love hearing that song live, because it's something they do in fact love. Quote
castro78 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I like the setlist, but it's not really a "new" setlist. LFY is the only different song, and they changed the order around. Not really that big of a deal IMO. Iridescent should be replaced with BTH, and the set would be awesome. Iridescent is a cool song until the gang vocal at the end, which I think, sucks and ruins the song. Quote
linkin_boss Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 so this setlist is basically london night 2 setlist plus the requiem with papercut dropped, and with the songs rearranged, isn't it? Quote
Lpowa Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 The encore is awesome ! Now we just need Blackout/BITS (or both) Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Put Breaking the Habit in place of Shadow and that set is damn near perfect. Quote
hahninator Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 Still waiting on POA to make an appearance...dunno where it is. Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Really cool set! My only complaint is the placement of TC. It seems like too much of a big song to be placed in a mid-set position between LOATR & SOTD. IMO I think it would fit better as a closer to the main set or as the encore opener. Quote
arbiter Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 (edited) Obviously, the band is experimenting with the order of the songs or they got bored. In which universe does LFY ever trump Papercut? Papercut is greater than 80% of the songs from Meteora hands down. What they need to do in their experimenting is replace LFY with Burning in the Skies, Crawling with Blackout, keep Breaking the Habit and replace Shadow of the Day with Robot Boy and keep The Messenger instead of Leave Out All The Rest. No ATS material should ever be replaced by a song from Meteora. That's blasphemy. The only way the setlist would ever be more awesome than it already is, is if they play Part Of Me(yes i can dream) or Easier to Run. Edited December 10, 2010 by arbiter Quote
