hahninator Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Don't blame me, I actually didn't do it this time - blame LP for the lack of news (haha, jk jk)...but since I literally have nothing to post that's news-related, I thought I'd ask a question: If you could pick ONE LPU 9 track that you were most excited for - which one would it be, and why? And if you could pick TWO, what would your second one be - and why? An example answer would be "I'd like to hear Faint and Breaking The Habit because they're from Meteora" - an example answer would NOT be "I'd like to hear them all becuz LP rox my sox". Go! Quote
spraypaintninkpens Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 (edited) Breaking the habit and faint as well, I'm still in love with meteora to this day. Figure.09 is a close 3rd. I really could careless about the mtm demos besides across the line. Edited November 15, 2009 by spraypaintninkpens Quote

spraypaintninkpens Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Figure.09 No competition. I wonder if they'll do the extended outro on that song like they did in pr 04. That'd be so dope. Quote
TnkA Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Across the line - Its easy why, da na na na na na na, da na na na na na na, da na na na na na na na! lol and Faint just cause its my all time fave lp song Quote
Zer0 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I'm most excited to hear Chester singing Stick N' Move, probably my favorite Xero track. Quote

PS - You'll love Faint and BTH. sometimes i really hate you. also Faint cause my fav song. Leave Out All The Rest cause the version now is like epic. Quote
maatze Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 If fear is the song which mike sings like in the making of Meteora... then its my favorite. And Across the Line of course... maybe we hear it live next year Quote
Slim Shinoda Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 FIRST: Across The Line (Unreleased Demo 2007) Reason: SECOND: Sad ("By Myself" Demo 1999) Reason: 1999... Good times... Quote
Dragorwyin Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 First Across the Line, because I just heard 10 sec of it ^^ Second Stick-N-Move demo 1998, I heard only with Mark Wakefield and i think that with Chester that song is better Quote
DaweLP1 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Figure.09 ....because I want to hear it Quote
shabanini Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Across the Line because i havent heard it before and Breaking The Habit because i'm hoping to hear more strings on it, but i'm sure all the songs will get enough of play time except drum song i guess Quote
shabanini Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 An example answer would be "I'd like to hear Faint and Breaking The Habit because they're from Meteora"Is it just an example or you run with it? Quote
SpikeMinoda Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 i would say i like to hear most a-six, cause the short version kicks already ass, so i like to hear the full version of it and drum song! hope we have mikes vocals on it, same with fear!! Quote
AGumby Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I think Faint it is one of the greatest tracks LP has ever done so a new twist on it would be great Quote
hahninator Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 I'm most excited for: Drum Song because I really want to hear Mike sing that shit as well as alt drums/guitar solo...I love the song And if I had to pick a 2nd I'd say Drawing. BTH baby BTH!!! Quote
Squide Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 hm...First maybe Fear because if it is with Shinoda's vocals that's gonna be great..., and than, Stick-n-Move (Runaway Demo)) Because Mark's voice didn't fit the song well) Quote
GigaScythe Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Figure.09, because that song kicks some ass. And Across The Line because it's brand new, of course. Quote
sckofelng Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 i would say i like to hear most a-six, cause the short version kicks already ass, so i like to hear the full version of it and drum song! hope we have mikes vocals on it, same with fear!! yeah a-six i wonder why we are the only ones to now who want that F.09 would be my 2nd choice Quote
luki9875 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Leave Out All The Rest - Mike Singing It... Across the Line - New Song Quote
Jen88 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I'm really keen on hearing how Japan transformed into Across The Line, because the clip of them working on it in the studio sounded really good. And Breaking The Habit is one of my all time favourite songs, so I'm interested to see how Drawing developed into BTH. Quote
