  1. The biggest difference between the mixing on the DVD and the CD is pretty much the same as it is on Road to Revolution - the CD is just mastered louder. That's a pretty standard thing with CD/DVD sets and I'm not quite sure why it's that way, other than perhaps they just assume people will turn their home theater systems up louder than their CD players, so they master the CD louder to compensate for it. One of these days I'll A/B the 5 LPU3 songs and their DVD counterparts and see if there are any other differences.
  2. Read what Nick just said. We do NOT know that this show exists.
  3. Typical insurance company BS. How the hell can they claim that 2 slipped discs in your back was a "pre-existing condition?" Last time I checked, Chester didn't have to walk with a cane or anything like that prior to him messing up his back.
  4. High Voltage is exactly the same on both versions of the HTEP. The remake of High Voltage never appeared on any version of that CD. That is a HUGE difference in mastering. You have to turn an original HTEP up almost twice as loud to get the same effect as listening to one of the reissues.
  5. "What is the first song on the Dead By Sunrise album Dead By Sunrise?" Good question, considering there is no Dead By Sunrise album titled "Dead By Sunrise."
  6. Look at the cited source on the Wikipedia entry, and you'll see that the list of guests is totally different: http://www.theaudiohustlaz.com/?p=221 The tracklisting was also edited 6 times on February 23rd in less than 15 minutes. Until a reliable source mentions the LP collab, I'm saying this is fake.
  7. If by "bullshit," you mean because it was actually played MORE than 34 times, you're totally right. More like 42. Once - St. Paul 2004 was it.
  8. He's been doing that on and off for a couple years. There are a couple other random lyrical changes the band does, the first one I can think of is on Bleed it Out where Mike changes "Can't contain him, he knows he works" to "And I can't contain him, 'cuz I know he works."
  9. Nothing wrong with the drums whatsoever there, Rob just played a different fill than he usually does at the end of the bridge, Chester wasn't expecting it so it threw him off for a second. Rob stayed in time just fine.
  10. No concrete answer to that has emerged. Demonoid isn't blocking German users from their end, and no German ISPs are claiming responsibility, but the entire country of Germany has been unable to access the site since the last week of January. You can still access the site through a proxy.
  11. Demonoid has been blocked in Germany for the last month. The site is functioning just fine, it's not a problem at their end.
  12. Members of bands visit each other in the studio all the time without collaborating on anything.

To all the people asking how we got Killing Fields: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3568 Pay attention more!
  14. Fu can talk? This is news to me. Cool interview...although I find it funny that Ryan's calling his Epiphone Dots by the Gibson brand name.
  15. O_o I've seen all of the DBS promo trailers and never heard anything like that...there was an instrumental version of the outro of Too Late at the end of one of them... That's not acoustic, that's Chester, Ryan, and Amir warming up backstage before a show...both Ryan and Amir are playing their electric guitars, just not plugged into anything.
  16. Kurt DID play Chester's guitar part at the following show in Adelaide. Nobody "fooled us," there was just a lack of information on that tour in general - very few Youtube videos compared to other tours, only one audience audio recording...a bunch of stuff on show pages from that tour was just flat-out guesswork (the Points of Authority intros in particular were almost impossible to track down in some cases). We assumed that the setlists stayed the same throughout the tour, and the info about Kurt came from Adelaide, so we assumed that he did the same in Melbourne. Chester played guitar on SOTD at every show except Adelaide, once he got a cast put on his wrist he was able to play again.
  17. I think this was posted a while back and proven to be fake...something about it using the same template as the flyer for last year's show and someone just pasting in the names of other bands.
  18. There are no acoustic versions of the entire album. The "acoustic tracks" that have been referred to for ages are the 5 songs that were played in Las Vegas last year, 2 of which (Morning After and Let Down) have since been released.
  19. If they had put In the Darkness on the New Moon soundtrack, they wouldn't have been able to put it on Out of Ashes. ROFL @ the concept of having a song on the New Moon soundtrack bringing in "non-true fans," a.k.a. teenie boppers. The "Linkie Boppers" have only been around since 2001 and have shown no signs of going away at any point since then... Also, putting a song on a movie soundtrack can in no way be used as an example of "selling out." Selling out implies a change in musical style made with the intent of commercializing yourself/your band further than what they already have been. And OOA wasn't "supposed to come out in 2005," that's just when Chester first mentioned that he was working on a solo project. The first tentative release date for it wasn't until sometime in mid-2008.
  20. Hmm...Melbourne second night where Chester broke his wrist has been fixed (apparently Shadow of the Day wasn't played that night and we had the setlist wrong all this time), but Auckland second night is still missing track 8.
  21. If you would have bothered to do some damn research instead of getting your panties all up in a bunch, you'd know that the DSPs are LPU-exclusive for the first 2 weeks and were announced as such quite a while ago. And I can access the DSP site just fine? It's the first news post on the LPU homepage...
  22. Completely unlistenable except for the last two songs due to the left channel being almost twice as loud as the right - Totally buried in the red and distorted. Thanks for trying anyway though.
  23. The normal price was $9.99 but they were on sale for $7.49 (probably the discounted price for LPU'ers for the first 2 weeks), and they had a deal where you could buy any 5 shows and get a 6th for free.
  24. That's the song "Grape Jelly" by Dry Cell...this fake has been going around for years. *closed*
  25. Sorry, but I see nothing "fine" with completely ignoring 5 performing musicians who work just as hard as Chester. You can look at any picture of Chester singing and get the same effect as watching a video focused on him. Who the hell wants to watch a guy run around with a microphone for 45 minutes? ZOMG HE TOOK HIS SHIRT OFF! HAWT!
