  1. It has to do not with the main label itself but the smaller, individual label that is based in the country itself. For instance not Warner Bros itself but Warner Music Australia. They are the ones that said selling the live CDs would take away from album sales, so you couldn't sell the live CDs in Australia. I think that's stupid but it does make sense. After you see LP tear the place the fuck down, many go to the merch booth and say "Oh dang let's buy MTM" etc since they liked the show so much. Lame but that's how it happened. Even Metallica couldn't sell their shows there ONLINE, and they do it for every show they do, but not in Australia/New Zealand. Incredible, I guess they have a lot of power (Warner) in Australia/New Zealand. I wish LP would sell their shit online so at least we could get every European recording. That's so stupid some of the Euro shows this year weren't sold. I know a few of the reasons why but oh well.
  2. Hunger Strike and Crawling are both from Burgettstown. I am awaiting a reply from Pooch on the show My December is from. He will be letting me know shortly.
  3. Yeah. I didn't like much heavy rock at the time. I thought OSC was blahhh. Then I heard ITE and I was like DAMN THIS IS AWESOME. So yeah ITE.
  4. Except on the LPTV episode you can see Fiore overdubs the audio of "99 problems and a bitch ain't one" of Jay when he says that line. That is the only reason I think they did 99/OSC in some type of shape or form. Maybe it was POA/99/OSC and noone noted it since they didn't know the song at the time. I wish we could get in touch with officials about this, etc. OSC feat Brad from Mudvayne at Rapid City 03
  5. Do not post Mike's LPU post in here, but he threw a new one up over at the LPU and it's for LPU members only, I have to say. My reply to the band is there, and I'll reserve future comments towards the CD for the LPU.
  6. Jealous jealous jealous. Chris Cornell. Damn.
  7. Great review. I am so bummed I didn't get to go. Hands Held High, Valentine's Day, My December, A Place For My Head. Missed them all.
  8. The only pics that are even comparable to these are Neil's from Toronto 07, lol. Wow.
  9. Holy shit, some of the best live pictures I've ever seen. I bet that was an epic show. Nice job. Front row! So jealous.
  10. The morning after Charlotte, we were really worn out so it doesn't surprise me that we slept through several alarms. I mean the night before...getting in at 4 and then still posting on LPLive before I went to sleep...it was exhausting, haha. Anyway so we eventually did get up at 11 or so to begin the loooooong drive to Florida. Krystal for lunch in south Georgia and we were still marching onwards. After hearing plenty of LP shows and lots of random rock mixes, we finally made it. The damn toll roads took $20 out of my pocket but that's fine. Good times, but a super fucking long drive. Preston made the entire drive himself, which earned him the nickname...."Driver", lmao. We made it like by 7pm or so, and after checking into our hotel we decided to "go see the city" and find some nice place to eat. The funniest thing I've ever seen was the fact that we couldn't find the city. I mean seriously, we left the hotel and drove, but we couldn't find downtown. We went south into some little community named Lakeworth but as we tried to get out, we came across a 4 way stop. It was hilarious because 3 of the directions were BLOCKED by cops further on down the roads. It was like some drug raid shit, but we bolted out of there as Preston kept trying to find where were going. We drove by the airport, we drove west and everything, but FINALLY like 45 minutes later, we went on some random road and indeed found downtown West Palm. Well, everything was high class and fancy, so later on we decided to eat....Taco Bell. Epic. Still though everything that happened that night was fucking great and was pretty funny if I say so myself. We slept in the next morning and then hit the beach, which was VERY impressive. Clearest water I've ever seen...the beach was beautiful. I was a dumbass and got sunburned because I absolutely hate sunscreen, but that's just my stupidity for you in fucking August. We had a blast, and then decided to go to the show. What sucked is the fact that right when we were leaving the hotel, it started to get really cloudy! We left and it started to rain too, god damn I was pretty upset, but I didn't say anything. We pulled in, parked, and I went up to buy a ticket. That's when we saw that "Sorry, Hawthorne Heights won't be performing today" sign everywhere. AWESOME! I should have saved one, LOL. Anyway I bought my ripoff ticket...there was not one good seat left so I had the absolutely shittiest seat. I was like in the back row of the furthest seating section from the stage...ALL the way on the left. NASTY. I wasn't going to take that bullshit, so I began thinking of another plan. Well anyway (lol @ how long my reviews are), we hit the Rev Stage. 10 Years was up, so I saw them do Actions & Motives, Waking Up, So Long, Good-Bye (Acoustic), and then Wasteland. It had toned down to a drizzle so everything was fine, and the sun came out. We actually got like pretty close for 10 Years, and seeing Jesse in the crowd on Wasteland was EPIC, I loved it. Their outro was really fucking good. Well, then they had the break and Given Up came on the screen...of course we clapped on the intro, etc, lol. Atreyu was next and they ROCKED that shit. Excellent set...great stage performance. My favorite time during their set was when some guy threw a baseball on stage, Alex picked it up and CHUNKED it back at the dude. Everyone was like WOW. Then it came back up and he did it again. Very surprising, but really funny. We laughed at these fatass chicks crowdsurfing, and actually some dude fell right beside me LOL. Doomsday Clock opened, they did Blow, Falling Down, Becoming The Bull, etc. They were really good. At one point they threw all these beach balls out to the crowd which was pretty cool to mess around with. At another point they had a massive circle pit get started. And as you all know, on the last song, they had everyone get down on one knee, then jump up. Well Preston said this part was cool so he jumped up and wow started pushing everyone and started his own fucking mosh pit. That was great. I had this bag of stuff with me but I didn't care...it was pretty fun. Atreyu kicked ass, but then I was like "Where's the SDC stage transition?" They didn't do it. Preston said that they didn't do in Raleigh either, but now I understand why. I mean it took us like 10 solid minutes to get from stage to stage because of the small walkway area. For SDC to do that and not get mauled, it'd be impossible. So anyway yeah we went to the main stage and saw like 1 song of SDC. They were decent. I used my Charlotte ticket...tore it in half and showed it to the people and got into the front section to sit in LOL. I sat and watched ASHES dIVIDE there...holy crap I didn't like their set AT ALL....but then I left to go sit with Preston and Mary Ann during The Bravery. They were pretty good, I mean I thought they were alright. Not many in the crowd liked them, but their songs were nice...I really like Believe and Honest Mistake. Not a bad band at all in my opinion. We had a good spot to watch them at too, because their seats were like the front row of the section directly left of Front Of House. We went after that to the merch stand to check out the poster for the show. As Mary Ann went to the bathroom, Preston and I listened to some guys saying "OH BUSTA RHYMES IS HERE? SWEEEEEET". Haha, whatever. Well after all that, it was time for Chris Cornell. Back at their seats, we enjoyed Cornell's new Black Hole Sun violin intro into Cochise. However, like 4 songs in, some people came and forced me out of my seat. I just went to the back of the section and watched a few more songs as the sun set for Chris. Then I walked around to the left side and after hassling with security, they finally let me stand where they check the tickets to let people in to the lower sections. Here, I watched Black Hole Sun, etc, the last songs of the set. I won't get into all the details but I did have some problems with the security. Chris was good, but I was looking forward to seeing him in Tampa without having so many distractions. One thing I forgot to mention was that the song I got moved on was Hunger Strike. Haha what bad luck. Well I was in the back row and right before Chester came out, I turned around to the entire lawn, did like Mike did in Atlanta on Don't Stay in 2007, and told them all with my gestures to get the hell up. Well, Chester came out and that's what they did. They must have thought I was crazy at first, but I bet they knew why I did that as soon as Chester stepped out. Hunger Strike owned. After Chris went on, I went to see Pooch again and after talking to him for a minute, this time I decided I'd pick a seat near him. Well, that went flawlessly, so I sat in a row next to FOH for LP. Once the lights went down, guess what? Jesse from fucking 10 Years showed up! Yeah! He stood RIGHT beside me in my row. I shook his hand and as I swayed to the SDC drum intro, he stood there with me and smiled. Awesome!!! Well SDC did their fucking thing, and then the WID sample came on. This time, I mean I understand now why people like the WID intro so much. The lights on that intro are AWESOME. The reds and blues combine to make some sort of fucking epic scene that just overall looks really cool. I thought it was very nice. Well then Mike came out and the song started and of course everyone went nuts. SDC doing their chainsaw shit was cool to watch too. Anyway so yeah WID rocked, and then Faint came on. Brad did his little dance and everyone started jumping. Great stuff. The outro was SICK as always and it flowed right into the No More Sorrow short intro, which I am a HUGE fan of. Then it came time for another favorite of mine, Wake 2.0. The lights were good and hearing Joe scratch was nice. Brad stood up on the triangle at the front of the stage and did his thing, and it was nice watching Chester flail around like his good ole self during the actual song. Given Up was up next. Of course we clapped on the intro the second Wake was over...actually you might be able to hear me on the live audio since I was close to FOH. Great bridge, great outro. LFY intro was up next, and of course that was sick. Mike said there were a lot of fucking people out here, and I agreed! I mean that place was PACKED. Everyone threw their hands up as always and they proceeded to rock LFY. After LFY came another favorite of mine, well it's kind of old now but I like Don't Stay when I see it in person. Everyone started bouncing like they did in 2007, and it was cool to hear Joe's scratching once again. One bad change to this song is how Chester extends the scream so far into the bridge, which causes Mike to not say anything on it anymore. Well it was still alright. In Pieces rocked us next. I think it's an overall really good song live. It's actually one where I don't mind Chester on the micstand. The guitar solo was sweet...I mean it's always cool to see that live. The outro with "Don't lie....to me" is A+. Somewhere I Belong time. Well it was generic but I really got into the ending of this one for some reason. After the last chorus, I started headbanging with these like 10 year old kids next to me (who knew all the words to all the songs like me) really heavily, and I was throwing my fists everywhere on the ending drum patterns. Sick song. Points was next, and I got to see Petrified for once. Cool stuff. Well then came probably the best highlight of the entire 4 show-cycle for me. Mike of course did his "HANDS UP Y'ALL!" on Points, but holy shit, as he said that...I mean I was in the PERFECT spot for it. Like all of the hundreds of people in front of me threw their hands up, everyone besides me, and I mean it was just such a beautiful sight to see. An entire sea of people in every direction waving their hands side to side IN SYNC with Mike. It was indeed a beautiful sight...I loved it. The ending to the regular song is great as always, and the outro tore that place up. Then came LOATR...which was a little boring to me...I mean I really hope they drop this song from 2 setlists in the future and only do it in 1 set. It will kill the crowd I bet if Chester doesn't get off the micstand for it. He stood still the ENTIRE song in that exact same place. Anyway, Numb was next. The ending really got me because I IMMEDIATELY recognized Mike doing the piano piece to 'Show Me'. I was so sure he was going to do it because he started to do the intro for it. I started to sing "show me show me show me" right as he ended it unfortunately. Well when he ended it he started the SOTD sample, so I guess he was saving it for another show. It turns out that he did do Show Me at the next Set Y show in Albuquerque. Figures. SOTD was decent. I mean what can you say after seeing a lot of these songs so many times. It was good of course, though. Then came my favorite time of the show! Crawling's intro, ah hell yeah it gets good again. Mike says "yo" and steps up on the triangle and starts his epic verse, again with the lights PERFECT. The intro sends chills down my spine every time and I think it's such a fucking good part of the show. I am so glad they decided to do it that way to start Crawling. Well Chris came out and the crowd went nuts, and that was that. The crowd was 1000x better than Charlotte for Chris. I mean this bitch was packed and these people were going crazy. I have to say the crowd was quite impressive in my opinion. In The End was next and it was good as always. Now after that is what I was waiting to see. I had seen Bleed It Out close twice, but I needed to see it before the encore break. Well I got my wish. Little did I know that on the intro, Mike and Brad went and faced each other and did this little jam-off. It was really neat seeing. I didn't like it at first but then I thought it was pretty cool. It's always good to change things up. Great performance of the song. I think BIO is the best song to do before the encore I guess. It's a good one, that's for sure. Well then the kids next to me knew they'd do more but they wanted to know what was left. I told them Pushing Me Away in a piano version, and then One Step Closer...but they reminded me "Breaking The Habit?" and I said oh yeah they are going to do 2 encores...PMA and BTH, then Cure For The Itch and OSC. We went crazy on the encore break, screaming as much as possible, and Chester came out and said "Show's over guys...you guys are supposed to leave! Alright we'll play more...but we're only doing cool jazz from the 80s!". I looked over at Pooch and saw him laugh at this, and Mike laughed at Chester too, which caused him to restart the song, haha! Very funny. They sure didn't talk to the crowd a lot in 2008, so this was great to hear. I need to note that this is the "newer" version of Pushing Me Away (Piano Version) that I saw for the first time. Remember halfway through Proj Rev 07 Mike changed the piano piece? Well yeah this is the new one I saw. I like it too, of course. After that with no intro, came Breaking The Habit. And boy they tore through that. I didn't have a camera to catch Mike on the bridge this time, but I lucked out because he didn't go headbanging at this show. I knew in Tampa I was going to catch that sucker going nuts on the bridge, so I was determined to get him for sure. I'll take this time and tell you that I love Breaking The Habit live. It's a really good song in my opinion, and that outro is so fun to sing-a-long to. Don't think that by not including all the details in this one that I included with Atlanta 07 that I wasn't going as crazy as fuck at this show. I really was, trust me, lol. I mean singing all the words, etc. I give it 110% at every LP show. It was also hot as hell during this show since it's in the summer but I really like that. Anyway so I was really pumped for the next part of the show. I was finally getting to see Cure For The Itch live. After the first tiny little sample of the intro started, I was pretty pumped. "I'd like to introduce...MR HAAAAHN!" and we all screamed. It was cool seeing Joe up there by himself doing his thing. It was a good moment for me because I felt Joe was left off of MTM honestly in a lot of places and I liked seeing him have that one song in the setlist just for himself. CFTI needs to be in every set in my opinion. So after that, I thought LP would be doing the long intro to OSC because I was on top of my shit and researched the last Set Y they did (in Virginia). Well I guess they changed it because I heard the tap, tap, tap and the OSC riff from Brad. The guys next to me looked at me and we all fucking went off when the song kicks in. I mean I lost my MIND on One Step Closer. I was waiting the entire night for this because I know how epic it is for them to close with OSC. I felt like I was dying again (lmao), but when Mike asked if we had any energy left, we went INSANE. I had never headbanged and sang so loud at an LP show before. ATL 07 was great but I think I gave twice as much energy on OSC at this show, even though it was the last song. And I kicked it up a notch on the outro. With sweat flying off my head, man I gave that shit everything I had and let it loose on the end. When Chester did his SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOUUU *BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*-UUU ending, man I threw my body every which way possible, lol. That was a sick ending to a show. I had the WORST headache after that because I felt like I had just bashed my head open, but it was worth it. I woke up that next morning with quite an ache in my neck but I really enjoyed OSC ending the show. After grabbing a water, I waited on Mary Ann and Preston at the Proj Rev bus outside before we drove back to the hotel as I called Astat and Nick (nkramar) with show updates. Preston was discussing something later when the SDC thing came up. He was like "Meh I don't really like them on OSC." I was like "Well at least we didn't get that in West Palm" and he was like "LOL what are you talking about?" Well needless to say that's when I found out that SDC came out on OSC at West Palm and I had no idea, lmao. My world was turned upside down when we were losing it on the bridge, so I never even noticed them on stage. Hilarious. Well, on to Tampa the next night!
  11. Thanks. Yeah I mean I really fucked up meeting people this time. I at least ran into Jason. I missed AJ in Atlanta as well, LOL. Well I made it up to Jack because I made sure to meet him at Nine Inch Nails earlier this month, and I made it up to AJ when Preston and I went to see Buzzfest in Nashville in September. We will meet up for sure next time, I promise. I mean this SE Roadtrippin shit is going to be HUGE. I'm talking like 20+ people at all these shows...LPLive is going to be all over the map. It will be a blast for sure. We can have t-shirts...meet up before some bands, etc. It was unorganized this time, but next time will be epic. Don't worry
  12. I had some bad luck going into this show. I was going to hit the Nashville show earlier in the year after I got back from my week and a half-long European trip with my school. Well, that was the plan. On the 10 hour flight back from Paris to Atlanta, I got REALLY sick...so I was in bed the entire week (I even missed school that week). Turns out I couldn't go to the show. That fucking sucks because they did HHH, APFMH, My December, and Valentine's Day...all of which I wanted to see live. Dang! Well I was going to make up for it. This summer I was going to roadtrip to the southeastern shows, especially if they fell before school started. Well, they did, so I hooked up with Preston and Mary Ann, who I had talked to online after the Nashville show. They wanted to do it, so I decided I'd go with them. I bought tickets to all 5 shows. Well, Raleigh was first. I really wanted a M&G so I applied for all the shows but received nothing. Before the Raleigh show, LP management told me I would have one in Raleigh and that they'd send me an email with info on it, but I never got one. Damn. That was ok I guess because Harris, a Chris Cornell fan, told me I could have a Meet and Greet with him and Chris. Awesome! I went to Raleigh, but the night of the show I ran into a problem. I had planned on meeting a ton of people at the show. My aunt suddenly said she had some important things to do, so my uncle was left at home with the two kids, so I didn't get to go with him as I planned. Damn, I was bummed, but I knew I had 4 more shows to look forward to. Come time for Charlotte on the 30th, my family initially said "Hell no you can't go with someone else that far to these shows" but wow I managed to persuade them SOMEHOW to let me do it. However, this was like 12pm on the day of the show! LOL. We were supposed to have GONE by then! Damn! And then I was told I could only go if I mowed the grass first. What the hell? Well I did that and I left, but by then it was like 3pm! I met with Preston and Mary Ann...and wow for a first time meeting they were sure cool with me being late. I'm sure they were pissed but they didn't take it out on me. We floored it to Charlotte. As we arrived and headed into the venue, we walked in right as Chris was playing 'Be Yourself'. That is one of my favorite CC songs, so I was pumped. Again I was seeing my favorite band play. Well, we all had different seats...like mine was section 1 (far right) but on the left side at the back...Mary Ann had a front row seat but it was REALLY far off on the right where you could barely see...Preston had some other stuff in section 2 far back, etc. We just stood around and decided to pick a random seat until Cornell finished. He did Black Hole Sun and some others, and overall he was great, I couldn't wait to see him again in Florida. After he finished up, I was going to meet with Jack (aka Saaintjimmy) but for some reason I never did (my fault man). Actually he called me as I walked in and said come over where the M&G was. I told him na, I was going to my seat to see Chris. Honestly I said that because I had no idea where the hell that was, and I didn't want to split from Preston and make him even more frustrated haha. That's ok I thought, I'd see him later. I felt kinda bad that I didn't go see him actually, but I thought I'd run into him at a later point. Well then I decided to call Jason (aka ECUTekkie) since he was there (I was going to meet with him in Raleigh) and see what the fuck he was up to. I said well I'm in section 1 standing here and he was like "Me too" lol. Turns out he was like 3 rows behind me. He came over with his friend and talked and showed me great M&G pics he took of MIKE AND CHESTER. NICE. After that I decided to go say hey to Pooch since I was going to see in Raleigh as well. I walked over and stood at FOH where I was patient. I caught his attention with a head nod as he looked at the stage for a second. He came over and I said "Hey I'm Mark" and he was like "Oh hey man good to see you, etc". I told him I knew he was busy (he told me earlier the transition between CC/LP was tough) so I would talk to him after the show. At this point I wanted to make it up to Preston honestly since I was so fucking late, so I decided hey let's just find some epic seats and he'll enjoy the show a lot. I had an idea, and I saw like half a row empty in section 2 (RIGHT in front of the stage). I showed the security guard my ticket and Mary Ann and Preston did the same...so we walked down and turned abruptly into section 2 and sat right dead fucking center. I was amazed at how good the seats were. All the while, were scared someone was going to come and kick us out, but they didn't! Excellent, I thought. 9:20 came around and the lights went down at like 9:25 or so. SDC walked out and the set began. I knew the full set this time, but I was still ready. I taped this show so I couldn't go nuts, but I planned to do it with the same setlist in Atlanta. The intro was neat, and then the OSC intro began. That was absolutely sick with the guitar, etc...I liked it a lot. The crowd was nowhere as good as Atlanta 07 but I had such a damn good view of the band I was completely satisfied. It was like a widescreen view directly in front of the middle of the stage of LP rocking out, which was pretty neat to see. The LFY intro was neat with the hands....SIB was dope. Preston told me before the show that the NMS intro was going to be sick as hell, but I was like "ehhh we'll see, it's in the middle of the set so I doubt it". Boy was I wrong. They cut all the lights and they threw out all this fog with these blue lights coming in later...it was awesome. Everyone was clapping, and I was like "oh shit this is great". Excellent intro. Papercut was next, which I loved since it's my favorite LP song. Next, Mike threw some fucking Bloc Party over POA! Nice! It was my 2nd show in a row with it. I was impressed. The funny thing about POA was that in the middle of the song, Phoenix just stopped playing bass LOL and went out to like have his own little Meet and Greet with a girl in the front row. He shook her hand and gave her a guitar pick. Hilarious! Then on the outro, Joe missed a sample, which I noticed, but it was cool. Then Mike started the REAL outro. There They Go was AWESOME over that little instrumental. Wake 2.0 was next, I loved the fucking lights. I am a big fan of Wake 2.0 since Wake absolutely killed the flow of the set when it wasn't opening, so I think Wake 2.0 did a much better job of keeping everything flowing better. Given Up was next and it was pretty good. The outro rocks where Chester says ...WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MEEEE. I like that a lot. It was then time for some From The Inside. I have to say that those lights are some of the best that LP does....they are impressive even if they've been using the exact same ones on the intro since like the Meteora World Tour in 2004, haha. Chester didn't nail the scream, but it was cool. FTI was interesting because Mike all of a sudden ran off the stage to the left side and came back with another guitar. I guess the one he had didn't work! LOATR was next. I wish I had seen the song in 2007 because in 2008 Chester used that god damn micstand and doesn't move around on the song at all, which kills the energy in my opinion. The sample that Joe hits throughout the song was really loud in the mix, so I mean I didn't like that song that much. Numb was next, still with the micstand, but I do have to say that while the song is played at every single show and seems old sometimes, Chester nails the bridge and it's still nice to see him do that. I like the piano outro to Numb still, but I definitely could tell when TLTGYA was starting its intro. One thing I have to note is that in 07, Mike had that "deep" low sounding keyboard intro to TLTGYA which was really nice, but in 08, he made it really high toned to sound like a piano. It was alright but I didn't think it was good as the 07 one. TLTGYA was nice, but I mean Brad really ruined it for me after such an EPIC performance of the song in Atlanta last time...he butchered the end of the solo quite badly. It was on purpose I'm sure but I was like "oh yuck" lol. Regardless, I like the ending of the song a lot. Then I heard a familiar sound, the quieter little buildup to the BTH intro, and then the actual intro started, so I was excited to see BTH this time with a great seat. I think Chester always does a really nice job on the bridge (which he did here), and then the extended outro ROCKED. I really like that and I think it enhances the song a lot. I wish I could have seen a Winter Tour show where they did the piano intro as well as the extended outro. The thing that got me on BTH was I decided to watch Mike during the bridge. All of a sudden he started HEADBANGING at the keyboard like mad! I was standing there like "oh my god that's awesome"...I was so astonished. Badass, Mike! I was for sure going to catch this on video at one of the next 3 shows, mark my words, lol. Shadow Of The Day came on next, which I also like. I think it's great how Chester adds the "YES IT WILL" after the choruses...good stuff. Then, I was quite fucking excited for the next part of the show. I had been laboring for LP to add the extended KRWLNG intro back to Crawling, which they finally did. Except on PR they decided to do Hands Held High over it. Holy. Shit. Mike stands up there, and they cut the front stage lights, but shine the lights on him from BEHIND, so it creates this AWESOME silhouette of him. I mean that is some nice creativity. The intro already gives me chills like crazy, and with HHH added over it, it was just epic as all fucking insanity. I really really really liked that intro. The gestures Mike made were great, and he did a perfect job. He emphasizes the right parts of the verse to make you just go "WOW". The funny thing was that, after that, Joe pulled what I call a "Mountain View 04" with the Crawling intro, and fucked it up, haha! Anyway, Chris came out on the 2nd verse and I thought that was pretty cool. Chris does a nice job on the ending where he does Mike's parts. Of course, the entire crowd goes nuts for it. I thought it was creative that he picked Crawling to come out on. Well then In The End came on and I enjoyed following Mike across the stage as he rapped the verses. They didn't cut the instruments in the bridge for us, though. After the song, Chester did this weird thing saying like how talented Mike was and stuff. It reminded me of Hands Held High at Mountain View 07. Mike said thanks and good night. After ITE we banged on the seats, etc. I think ITE is a great song to end the normal set with. It's a hit song, and it's like "In The End" of course...I mean the end of the show. Perfect. I knew the next song would be one of my favorites. I love What I've Done and I couldn't wait for the new intro to see live. It started up and I was pretty excited. The buildup and shit was great, and as it gets to the peak, it just dies and the WID piano starts. The funny thing about this one is that Brad's guitar came in REALLY FUCKING LOUD (I told Pooch after the show and he said "yeah, haha, oops") but it was nice. I mean everyone loses it when it stops and Mike is standing there in 1 spotlight doing the intro. WID is really a great song for them to do in the encore in my opinion. Faint was next after a short Mr. Hahn scratch, and everyone started jumping. Excellent song...the outro was GREAT. I love that outro and I hope they keep it for the 2009+ shows. Even though I was taping the show, I still headbanged on the outro..I mean it's just a pretty damn good way to end the song. Preston was right with what he told me before the show. He said that after the first encore, people leave and usually head out. Well even though you could see them bring Rob's other drumset out to the front of the stage, people still walked out! Haha, hilarious. So anyway Rob came out after a short break and started his usual drum solo, which I thought was damn sweet. I loved being so close and seeing him right in front of me tear it up on that smaller drumset that reminded me of what he played at Saturday Night Live with LP. I counted down the cymbal hits (3...2...1) before the BIO riff, and then of course they started the regular song. I liked seeing Rob do the regular song on that smaller drumset. Anyway, so then SDC came back out on the bridge. Brad cut the riff after their short intro, and they proceeded to hammer it. I enjoyed it...I actually thought they did a good job. I watched as Rob got up and walked back to his regular drumset. Then I saw him join in with SDC as he fucking tore through the rest of the solo. I was impressed! Rob came back in and shredded that part Chester had us sing the BIO chorus with him...but it was kinda weird not having the "ohh ohh" singalong in front of it. I loved the ending to it as they jammed and Chester screamed I BLEED IT OUUUT, HEEEEEY, etc. Then he did this thing where he threw his fist up and started screaming HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY....I loved every second of it. Awesome way to end the show. Too bad they didn't do the extended outro! Chester said that it was one of the best dates on the tour and thanked us, but I had a hard time believing it since the crowd wasn't that great. Well, that was that. I walked back and talked to Pooch after the show, said I'd see him in Florida...thanked him and then we drove back to Preston's house after eating at Waffle House. We arrived at 4am and I crashed on his floor. Long day, but I was able to listen to the show again on the way home since I recorded it. I was definitely ready for the next few shows to see what Florida could bring us. It turns out, I didn't see Jack after the show, but I found out when I got home that he was like 3 rows behind me filming! Haha that's hilarious. I'm in his DVD he shot, but wow that's crazy we didn't see each other. Oh well, still a sweet show.
  13. Prepare for a massive read. All details are included. Well, I had quite a streak of bad luck for LP shows. I was determined to go to the Summer Sanitarium show in 2003 but I was told I was too young, and for PR04 Atlanta, it fell on a school night. This time would be different. I was positive I was going to be there no matter what the next time that LP tore my city down. I was waiting and waiting for the new album, and finally when we heard it was going to come out, I was quite excited. The rumors started to trickle in for the band to do Projekt Revolution again, and wow people were getting hyped. On May 7, the band finally announced PROJEKT REVOLUTION 2007. Hell yes!!!!! And guess what? Atlanta was there! I would be attending this time. Unfortunately, the show fell on my 2nd day of school, but that's alright. I went to school that day and was excited the entire damn time. As soon as my school day ended, I headed on up to the amphitheatre to see my favorite band. Upon arrival, we parked and I was just excited as could be as I walked through the sandy parking lot full of hundreds of cars that contained LP fans blasting any song they could find. Live In Texas, Collision Course, Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, Reanimation - I heard it all. I walked in as HIM started Wings Of A Butterfly, and I thought to myself "Wow this is going to be great". As this was my first real show at Lakewood, I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I did was go buy the live CD, which I kept in my pocket the entire time. I got to my seat and was really excited since I was dead center and was actually pretty close (a few rows from the last row in the middle section...like 12 rows back but a beautiful view). I watched HIM and thought they actually were pretty cool. The crowd didn't give them much (only 1 girl I saw LOL), but it looked like they were filming something kinda since some guy with a HIM crew shirt was walking down the aisles with a massive camera. Anyway, so they went off and I decided to walk around since Taking Back Sunday was next, and I didn't like them. Prior to the show, I had applied for an LPU M&G and I didn't receive one of course, so I was like DAMN, well maybe there's some way I can meet the band. I walked around the right concourse and actually some LPU'er came up to me and asked me where the spot was to meet, haha. I told him I had no idea. Anyway so I walked around some more and tried to find that spot, but I could never find it! I decided to try the left concourse, but I had no luck there either. However, I did run into Placebo signing at a table, so I stood like 2ft from them and said hi and watched it while people got stuff signed (I didn't really need/care for their autographs). Then I walked back to the right side and I had an idea. If I could somehow find someone associated with the band, I could meet them. Holy shit if all the luck in the world was with me at one time, I found someone! An LP crew member and said hey man wait a second, and he turned so I said to him that yeah I didn't get a M&G, I was a hardcore fan...would love to say hi to them if there was anything he could do, but if not, that was ok. Surprisingly, he said OK!! I was floored. Omg. He told me to wait by this bench and he'd come back for me in a little bit. Well I thought at first he would let me down, but 30 mins later, he came back! He gave me a wrist band from the LPU with the date on it, and told me to wait in this line over by this fence. Wow! I was so excited...I would finally meet Linkin Park. When I got over there, I waited and waited with these people...I was in the back of the line. Some guy told us DO NOT take out a camera or anything for them to sign anything with...we'll give you a signed poster later. Then he said they would take a picture of us with the band. Wow!!! So I waited and waited more, which turned out to be a long long wait. By the time we got to go through this little gap in the fence, MCR had just finished "Welcome To The Black Parade"...like over an hour after I had talked to the guy. That's ok though. I was standing by the fence while the line slowly moved, and I became friends with this guy Jay and Ben. Ben was like a 30 year old guy that had roadtripped on the Meteora World Tour 04 to see them, and we talked, etc. Jay was his 7 year old son who loved LP. Actually on Pr08 in Atlanta I saw them but I was too far to say anything. I hope I run into them again as they were really cool people. Anyway, so as the line kept moving, I became REALLY nervous. Like really really nervous. LP was like 20 feet from me and I had forgotten what I was going to ask them. So the line moved a bit more and I looked through a crack in the fence...I saw Brad's hair. Wow. So then I moved through the gap and could see more of the band...and then I saw an LP security guard. I asked if he knew XXX (LP security guard name removed), and if so, if he could tell them hi from a friend of mine. He said sure. Anyway, while that was happening, it turned out the band was waiting for me - I was holding up the picture. As I started to turn, Chester came and put his arm around my shoulder..OMG. Absolutely epic as anything. He pulled me over to beside him and Mike and then they took the picture. I shook all their hands and I said "Hi Mike. If you play Hands Held High, I swear we'll sing it." I didn't know what else to say, so that was it. He laughed at me and was really nice. Rob, Chester, and Mike were the nicest guys ever. Brad shook my hand, Joe was hiding behind a curtain so he didn't say anything or smile (grr), but Phoenix shook my hand and as he did it I said "Phoenix thanks a lot for the LPA interview earlier this year". Well by saying that I guess I disrupted the flow of the fans, because some security guard grabbed my arm and started pulling me out. However, as I turned, some guy said HEADS UP and threw a shirt at me. I was like WTF. So I looked at it and it was a Club Tattoo shirt! Badass!!!!! As I walked out of the area, I was the happiest person alive. I just met LP. Awesome! So I walked back to my seat and watched the end of MCR...like 4 songs really. They were decent but Gerard seemed gay to me with his hand in his pants and stuff. They ended with a piano song which I thought was stupid, but oh well. Their pyro was melting the fans. Anyway Teenagers was ok, so I said whatever. Then the break came. I was sooooo pumped. People were chanting for LP and everything. Previously, I downloaded the first few PR shows' audio, but I wasn't familiar with the setlist that much. Still, I knew we would get the one that opened with Wake/Given Up, so man I was ready. After they played some Styles Of Beyond (Second To None and Savin' LA, hell yeah), all of a sudden 9:20 came around and I knew it was LP-go-time. At 9:22 the lights cut down and holy shit the place went nuts. It was so fucking hot but we were ready for LP. Wake kicked in, and man we threw our hands up and everything. We could see the band behind the kabouki, and we were ready for them to kick some ass. As soon as Wake ended, I started clapping for the Given Up intro, and as the entire crowd started clapping as well, the kabouki fell and out came LP. Sweet! Chester screamed the chorus...he looked so fucking pissed...it was so perfect for Given Up. Mike and Phoenix were SLAMMING their guitars around on the bridge, and the entire crowd was loving it. The red lights fit in perfectly. No More Sorrow was sick as fuck with Chester telling us on the bridge "YOU SING...no..no more sorrow, I've paid for your mistakes...FUCKER!!!!". I loved him slamming his head around over the micstand on the intro. The band was perfect, the sound was great, lights rocked, crowd going nuts. Lying From You started and as Mike said "Hands up like this...let's go....up, up, up, I don't see 'em in the back, yeah"....EVERYONE threw their hands up, bouncing them with Mike. What a sight to see! Don't Stay was next...he said "Hey you guys down here in the pit, this one's yours...get up" as the crowd started jumping. As I was a big fan of RAR04, I was waiting on Mike to say something on the bridge. He stuck both hands out to the side, pulled them together, and pointed up, and said "READY!?". Everyone knew what he was trying to do, so they went crazy again. Chester said in such a hardcore voice after the song "HOW YOU GUYS FEELING OUT THERE TONIGHT?". Oh my god it was so hot. Mike thanked the crowd, grabbed another guitar, and I knew it was time for some SIB. Rob started his drum part and the intro started up (one of my favorites). Hands were again thrown up when the riff kicked in. I like that intro because of how they go through the main riff twice (compare the 07 intro to the 08 version of SIB). Afterward, From The Inside's sample started. I knew this was going to be sick, and boy was I right. Chester fucking NAILED the entire 15 second scream, and I was so amazed. Wow. Legendary. When Mike started to say his parts, the guy in front of me turned around to me and we both sang it together. It was like the entire crowd was bonded together. Very nice. The song ended and I yelled...etc. I thought the guitar was fading out but no, it was the Papercut intro! Hell yeah! If you listen to the live audio right after the intro starts, you can hear someone yell "PAPERCUT!!!". That would be me! Mike sent fucking chills down my spine when he gave that speech. It's still one of my favorites....especially when he asked "How many of you guys have been down with Linkin Park for a long ass time? This one is gonna be our 10th year together, and we thank you guys...this one is for you." Oh man I had so many chills....and when that riff kicked in I fucking lost it. I sang every single word with everything I had...it was so great. Papercut was epic as fuck. Mike said "sing that!" on the bridge, and everyone around me was singing the ending. It was perfect. After a "check this out" while I nearly fainted from the heat, Mike rapped the Points intro. I didn't recognize the name at all (it turned out to be Bloc Party), but I knew some of the words lol. Points was great. The speech after the song by Mike and Chester was nice. Chester said it was hot as fuck, so I took the opportunity to take my Club Tattoo shirt and put it around my head. What a life saver. Then, In Pieces came on. I liked the lights a lot. Chester even took his shirt off, haha. Everyone went fucking NUTS on the guitar solo, and I thought that was really really cool. SOTD was next, which I enjoyed watching...especially Chester on guitar. Lots of people held up their lighters...what a fucking sight!!! I should have taken a picture, but my ticket felt like it was melted to my pocket because of all the sweat on my legs....and I didn't want to dig the camera out of there. After Shadow, Mike mentioned the VMA nomination and had us thank Joe. Awesome! Then Numb kicked in, so I decided to whip the camera out anyway and record the ending into PMA piano. The video sucks because I'm singing the entire time, lol. On the outro, the crowd went CRAZY. For some reason you can't hear it that well on the live audio but man everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs as Mike played the ending. I loved PMA, Chester did a great job. Everyone went nuts on the bridge of course, and for some reason even though I knew he'd do it, I yelled "FINISH IT!!!" haha. Who knows. And then, Breaking The Habit. Headbanging phenomenon. The intro was absolutely perfect, and Chester performed it really really well. I knew by the sample that Crawling was next, so I geared myself up with the guy in front of me to sing "SO INSECURE" before the chorus. Great song. You could really hear Mike sing the chorus with Chester near the end - that's the first time I ever noticed that, seriously. After that, the keyboard was brought back out, and I felt like I was going to pass out. Mike said his famous New Orleans line and dedicated this song to them. I knew it was TLTGYA of course. A lot of people sat down (I doubt because of TLTGYA, but it was incredibly hot). I wanted to stand the entire time, so that's what I did. How dare I sit down when LP is performing after having an opportunity to come to this show, I thought, lol. I soaked in every single second of TLTGYA...it was really one of my favorite songs going into the show and I was so happy they were doing it on this tour. Chester was slowly walking around moaning throughout the bridge and I thought to myself "Wow!". When the buildup started, I didn't know what the hell was going through my mind, but I jumped off a seat when the riff kicked in, haha. Chester and Mike fucking nailed that ending, and I was left thinking "Holy fucking shit that was INCREDIBLE". Little did I know that they'd pick that version to go on the LPU7 CD, so I imagine it actually was a really good performance. Chester must've liked the crowd because after that he gave a speech saying "You know, Georgia is like a place that almost doesn't seem real. If anyone wants to live in a better place, they should come to Georgia" haha. Then the WID sample started and I was like HELL YEAH. Everyone got back up and started going nuts again. I was really amazed by the backdrop on this one, so I stood watching all the video footage (a lot of it if you notice wasn't in the WID video, so I thought it was pretty cool. The TLTGYA footage was nice as well). I sang it but during the 2nd verse decided to take a minute from being so into the show and just take a second to take everything in. It was really cool watching them play the song. Then, Chester held the mic out, and the ENTIRE place sang "WHAT I'VE DOOONE" into the 2nd chorus. Awesome! The bridge kicked in and everyone around me was headbanging like hell. Chester sang the first line of the bridge perfectly and held the mic out as we all sang the rest of the bridge as loud as we could. We jumped when the song kicked back in, and Mike even extended the keyboard outro for the first time as Chester added some extra "nananana's"!! Nice touch! Chester said "You know? I wanna see this fucking place go off right now". And that's what we did as soon as Faint started. One entire 12,000 people jumping sensation. I felt like I was going to die but I kept it up with everyone else. I gave it everything I had on that outro and headbanged until I thought I was going to die. I threw my hands up and everyone was going crazier that at any point in the show so far. Chester must have been hot too because he didn't scream the last part of the outro, but that's ok. He said thanks and walked off, starting the encore. The lights cut down, and everyone immediately started hitting the seats with everything they had. I just bent down and tried to catch my breath and started hammering on them with everyone else. It was damn cool hearing all of that noise at once. The guy in front of me leaned back and gave me the horns. I told him OSC was next, but he said he knew as he went to a show in Texas with the same setlist. Texas!!!! Nice! After over three minutes of this racket we were making, we heard some really loud guitar fade-in, and everyone screamed! I got chills and was waiting any second for that damn gunshot sample. It happened and I swear it was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. Incredible. Mike started his guitar part, and as the intro went on, EVERYONE got up and stood in their seats. I was like "Oh my god this is crazy". Everyone was up, clapping and throwing their hands forward. You can even hear some of it on the audio. The OSC intro riff by Brad kicked in and then any remaining people got up in their seats. I hadn't seen anything like it before. As soon as the real song started, people started jumping off their seats and came back on, etc. People were jumping around off of seats the entire song. It was amazing to see. I sang with everything I had, especially when Mike asked us on the bridge to "take it up a notch". In every direction I looked people were losing their minds jumping, screaming, singing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48wpFeyrIYg check it out. Look at everyone in the seats going fucking nuts! It was the best atmosphere ever to be in with all the LP fans. That crowd destroyed the 2008 shows I saw for sure. It seemed after such a big break, everyone saved their energy for One Step Closer, and holy shit they lost it. After OSC, Mike asked if wanted to "hear some more shit". At this point I really felt like I was going to pass out because it was so hot. My throat was so dry...I couldn't spit...nothing. I wiped my face off and tried as hard as I could to rap with Mike and sing the song. On the bridge, Mike went down to the crowd! Wow! He kept saying to the band "Cut out for a second on this shit, let them sing it". I immediately caught on and knew what they were going to do so I stood up and just sang as loud as I could with everyone else. That was a memorable moment for me because they had never cut out the instruments on the bridge before. Mike said "You guys are fucking awesome, thank you guys very much, LOUD AS HELL OUT HERE, yes sir!". Chester said it was amazing, and wow I got chills again. Joe must have thought it was cool too because he just bent over with his head down on Mount Hahn and extended the outro a lot. We clapped and Rob hit the bass drum. Pretty interesting. Then I knew it was time for the last song - Bleed It Out. Mike said it was their last song on his intro speech, but I didn't think he was going to do what he did. He started the verse really high pitched because he had just stopped his intro speech. It sounded weird but it was great. They had so much energy. Check this video out: Brad was smiling, the entire band was feeding off the crowd and everything. Chester screaming the bridge was one of the most epic parts of the show with his "I'll make you FACEEEE THIS NOWWW." Great stuff. Then it came time for Rob's drum solo. I sat and watched it but I was sure I was going to pass out this time because it was so hot. I kneeled over and tried to stay fine, but I felt pretty bad. After the drum solo they asked us to sing "ohhh ohhh", etc. I turned my head up and sang as much as I could. Then I knew the end of the show was here, so I stood up and started throwing my hands up as much as possible as they finished the song. The guy in front of me and I headbanging till the end, and we yelled when they finished. Linkin Park was finally done. I was so tired, but I just had my fucking mind ROCKED by my favorite band. It was the most incredible thing I had ever seen. Or so I thought. It seems that wasn't just a guitar fade at the end. "What do you say we say goodnight, in the right way? We'll start it slow for you, and we'll speed it up". Holy shit what the hell was this? An outro!? I knew they did one in Set C (One Step Closer) but I had no idea it was in A. He asked us to sing and I thought "oh god". I put an arm around my friend and we just started singing with LP with everything we had left. They sped the outro up REALLY fast and we just went absolutely crazy...I couldn't believe how awesome it all was. Then they crashed intro the ending with Rob smacking the hell out of the drums, and Chester said "Thank you very much!". Indeed, they were done. I watched them go off stage and everything, then I ran as fast as I could go to get some water. $8 for two bottles...one which I drank in one massive chug and the 2nd which I poured all over my face and head. I went to retrieve my picture of the band and poster...then headed out. In the car I stripped and drove home, etc. I posted the info on LPLive and the LPU, then took a shower and went to sleep. Best night ever. And that is my 5 billion word review of my first LP show that will still be my favorite show I've ever attended. Only one word could describe it - INSANE.
  14. Due to popular demand (aka people PMing and IMing me for me to do this), I added a new section to the forums. You can now write and post your own show review. In the unique section, you can browse other shows people write about and read those too, or contribute your own. Meet and Greet? Add that too. We'll take anything! Check it out. I will be adding mine shortly. I hope to have a pretty good database of shows built up so that with 4.0, I can link to these from the actual show pages. Now won't that be cool? Click here to check it out. Just simply create a thread for your show and say what you'd like to say. Enjoy!
  15. Actually it doesn't. You could say Mike lied. He said it won't new unreleased LP album material. Last I checked, the LPU CD was an LP album. The 11 minutes of garbage they gave us? Unreleased. And New. Yep.
  16. No, we're not missing it. He did NOT say it wouldn't be b-sides/demos. Has LP ever released an LPU CD of solely b-sides or solely demos? No. It is VERY clear that his comment led a lot of people to think we would be getting those because I'm not the only one that thinks that way. I'd rather have live summer European songs than this. I mean come on, stop bashing people that don't like it. If I was a member of another fan club for another band, I'd still be pissed that I got 11 minutes of bullshit instead of real music.
  17. First of all, Mike did NOT say it won't be a b-side or demo. He said it won't be new Linkin Park album material. Aka shit they are doing off the NEW record. Pictureboard for example is old to Mike. He isn't going to refer to that as NEW. We just had like a 6 page LPU fight about this last night. Mike never said it won't be old LP material aka b-sides off MTM/Reani/HT/CC/Meteora/ANYTHING they've done in the past. Quoted for truth. Yes, I'm trying to talk to officials, especially with LP mgmt/Warner/GrayZone about what we can have here. I want them to ok a lot of stuff so that we can have a killer downloads section with 4.0. We don't support sharing official media. Some people think that you should be able to download CDs to preview them before you buy them. I actually support that but legally, I can't allow you to post official media (aka CDs they released, etc). I just can't do it because I don't want to get sued. You can exchange all the links you want, etc in PMs. In fact, go create a thread where you can request shit, but just don't post official links on the forums. People can reply and PM you with stuff you want. Another forum I am a member of operates that way for official media, so go ahead I'm fine with it. Mike and Linkin Park allows us to share the DSPs/Live Audio. Period. They have said multiple times we can share/trade/upload/etc those shows. I mean if you want to go make some requests thread somewhere on the forums, be my guest, but we will continue to edit the official media links for obvious reasons. Like I've said before, when someone says no, there's always a workaround. I'm not here to discourage anyone from downloading official LP songs. Do whatever the fuck you want, I mean I downloaded MTM and still bought it. I mean have fun and work around it. Just don't post links on the actual forums. PMs are perfect acceptable. Thanks. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun....I mean I love everyone here on the forums and I like reading everyone's opinions...just know that we have to censor a few things for legal reasons. I sure wouldn't want LPLive to be sued and taken down offline...would you?
  18. For those who do like it, good for you too. Hope you like it.
  19. Mike had to of known this would have happened. I mean cmon, he's a smart guy. After the 7.0 CD sucked SO badly, we had such high expectations for this one. You release something like this and the entire community goes mad. I am still disappointed with this because I don't like the tracks at all. You either need to put out a quality CD like 2.0/4.0 (actual remixes, b-sides, demos, GOOD live songs), or stop teasing the fans. Don't tell us you recorded 17 MTM songs. Don't put unreleased song clips on the DVD. Don't tell us there's more songs that are fully mixed and mastered and ready to go. If you do that, what do you expect us to want on the LPU CD that has had that same kind of shit in the past? I mean cmon, it's very obvious. If this was like the 3.0 CD then I'm sure a lot more would like it, but for the timing now, it's like we got 2 absolute bullshit releases in a row for the LPU, and a lot of people like me are absolutely fed up with it. I do not like this CD and it was a very stupid decision to release it right now. Will we ever get any fucking MTM b-sides? If they are so self-conscious about their music, then why the hell put something out like this? Come on LP. In fact, nevermind. This isn't even LP. This is 1/3 of LP. And it blows. I am disappointed. So what? I have a right to my opinion just like you do. I like Linkin Park for a reason, and that's the genre/sound of their music. Not something like this. I hate this CD.
  20. maybe they WERE on acid when they made these. I mean seriously. who are they kidding. do they not care about us anymore??? I really really hope they put the real songs up on the lpu for free on december 4. please tell me LP is joking with us. I have lost so much faith in them if this is what they are releasing to us.
  21. be patient. im trying to upload it.
  22. im done with the LPU. this is a disgrace to the fans.
  23. this is the biggest fucking joke ive ever seen in my life what the hell is this. live songs from europe's summer shows would even be better than this. omgggg >_ how can mike say this is the best LPU CD?
  24. LP setlist/energy wise was PR07. I had Set A and they just came out with Wake/Given Up and fucking rocked us to hell and back with like 7-8 straight songs. Wake, Given Up, No More Sorrow, Lying From You, Somewhere I Belong, Don't Stay, From The Inside, Papercut, Points Of Authority. That's a great way to start it off. Chester NAILED the scream on FTI PERFECTLY...they tore through Papercut like fire too. TLTGYA/WID from ATL 07 are still my favorite performances of those songs. TLTGYA was so special because not only was that my favorite MTM song going into the actual show (so I was really excited to hear it), but Mike asked if anyone was from New Orleans....the only time he did that. The actual performance of the song kicks some major ass...I still think that's the best one of the entire cycle. OSC in the encore was fucking SWEET....as soon as that fade-in started before the clickclickboom sample, people started climbing up in their seats and it was so damn cool. That OSC riff kicked in on that intro and it was insanity...people jumping off seats, the whole crowd going crazy. It was so fucking hot but man LP fed off that crowd perfectly...and it was great. ITE's bridge was like the first time they cut the guitars out and we lost it. BIO was great, the outro was sick to end the show. Overall a perfect show for my first one...LP fucking tore that place DOWN. PR08 was excellent, but the energy can't be rivaled to the PR07 Atlanta show that I attended. I like the PR08 setlists, but I mean LP talked more to the crowd and overall the show was just a little better in 07 than 08. So yeah PR07 is my favorite. PR08 was good, but not as good. As far as other bands go, PR08 for sure. Chris Cornell holy shit, Hunger Strike was amazing. I loved Be Yourself, Show Me How To Live, etc, etc - good times. PR08 set-wise...I mean OSC opening is good but when it closed in West Palm, holy shit those people lost it. The PR07 set A setlist is exactly the one I wanted and I got it...and I just think it's definitely superior to the 08 ones. Don't get me wrong, I had an absolute blast at PR08, but I like that set I got at PR07 just a tad better. Europe 08 was very lucky. RME and APFMH? Soooooo jealous.
  25. Actually, no. graveguard is still coding the ACP, but that's perfectly fine. He has had some stuff come up in life that he has had to deal with. LPLive is volunteer work by users of the community/staff, so I mean it's not a big deal. We have TONS of time for 4.0 (before the next CD, etc). This has given me an opportunity to review the things we are implementing with other users, which has provided me with more opinions/ideas on what we exactly are going to do. And that's the update More soon. Always ask if you need to know something.
