  1. There is hope on the horizon.......lol
  2. Hey guys, since the LP news is trickling in REALLY slow, I thought I'd post some goodies from the 2007-2008 touring cycle up here so you could check them out. If you have any to add, please post a comment! Bleed It Out was extended for the first time ever at Rock am Ring 2007, when the band dragged the bridge out longer than usual. A video of that can be found , and a bad quality video of the full song can be found . The first performance of Shadow Of The Day was at Auburn 2007, and you can watch that video (recorded by our friend JNudda from LPProjekt.com) . The first performance of Hands Held High was at Mountain View 2007, and you can check that video out HERE. At Projekt Revolution 2008, Mike added Hands Held High over the intro to Crawling and Chris came out. Check that out . The band still went into the crowd during the touring cycle... is Chester in your face from Mountain View 2007 and is Mike tearin' it up A Place For My Head-style at St. Paul 2008. Of course, is Chester falling and breaking his wrist at Melbourne in 2007. is the only time they played Runaway the entire touring cycle (2007 and 2008 combined), at Bamboozle 2007. What about Bleed It Out on Saturday Night Live? Yep, the greedy copyright-holders removed it from YouTube, but HERE is Timbaland's sick intro to Bleed It Out at the VMAs in 2007. That'd be a pretty sweet show opener, eh? And don't forget Bradford Delson jumping and doing his little jig on the intro to Faint! That can be found , , , and HERE. Nice! (All for you, Preston, haha). If you can find a better/full one, please let us know. Lastly, the kick-ass outros from the cycle. Points Of Authority (frequently with a verse from There They Go) was by far was the best, , but the No More Sorrow intro in both 2007, , and 2008, (w/Street Drum Corps), was great. What about the What I've Done intro, (w/ some sweet commentary)? And the One Step Closer intros from 2007, HERE, and 2008, (w/Street Drum Corps)? Cool, right? Hope you enjoy these. Any others? Did any of you record a video that's pretty sweet that I missed? I also have to do LPPRJKT4 some justice, since he spent all that time uploading that compilation of a "MTM Cycle Best-Of" so check that out HERE.
  3. That intro was used on the Europe/Asia run in 2004. There's one other recording of it and that's from Lisboa if you want me to upload it.

New Song (mellow) 13. Shadow Of The Day 14. Figure.09 15. Papercut 16. Crawling (w/ some sort of new intro) ENCORE 1: (3-5 min break) 17. What I've Done (w/ 08 intro) 18. New Song (Rock) and alternate it with No Roads Left randomly 19. Faint (fucking extended outro, maybe a new intro too) ENCORE 2: (needs 3-5 min break) 20. Cure For The Itch 21. A Place For My Head (w/ Brad gtr intro & extended intro and bridge) 22. One Step Closer ***PYRO***
  5. Anyone have any predictions for the 2009 setlists? I say they will bring back With You. That's the only one I am relying on, really. Well, I also will predict that they will keep the No More Sorrow long intro, lol. Not sure about much else though.

  7. Yeah. I'd be interested in seeing what that guy from LP management said to you if you'd like to email me or something......
  8. Yeah that'd be a situation if the band and management could just override the label on stuff like this. You had it coming to you for deleting and ignoring those emails, but oh well. Sucks this happened but next time don't be ignorant, lol. I have been emailed by the label a few times and I either reply or take action within 5 minutes of receiving the email.... No I don't hate you. It comes down to what I'm doing that day, etc. Right now I am on Christmas break, so I have days free. During the school year I'm juggling school, LPLive, like 5 more websites, studying, hanging out with friends, etc. The news is slow; compilations are fine to post. He hasn't gotten a proper link back to me yet unfortunately.
  9. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=806 Posted a thread with the proper information regarding the proof
  10. They had the LPU secret show in mid-2008. But that was LA members only, how lame. Why not do a big contest of everyone. It was only 14, too, and you had to be a certain age, etc. Lame lame, lol. As far as LP ok'ing the sharing of the shows, I could I have sworn I had a "proof" page linked up to LPLive somewhere. I'll go look for it and post it here, give me a little bit. I know I took screenshots and got all the links earlier this year for them allowing us to share them. Hmm.
  11. That is negative. Still no progress from the last post Working on a few other projects now with some other people, mainly Legend and Amanda. Everything10Years.com and a few other sites. I'll get to LPLive shortly.
  12. I think they could pull off Enjoy The Silence by Depeche Mode really well. Have Mike do a keyboard intro and man they could rock it. Perfect. LP could do this, no doubt.
  13. Sounds like LP-IT really got fucked for voicing their opinion of RTR. Dunno if that's right but that's what it sounds like to me.
  14. I doubt it'd ever happen, lol. We don't have anything copyrighted on the entire site. Credit is given to everyone we've obtained info and stuff from. We're doing fine. Can't wait for a new LP tour.
  15. "- Added source 1b for: 30.01.2001 San Francisco, CA, The Fillmore" What is the difference? Just 2 mins more footage? "- Added the 2nd and 3rd source for: 25.06.2001 George, WA, Gorge Amphitheatre" Any luck getting these?

    Crank II

LOL this is fucking crazy. What an intense/hardcore trailer. That's the most R rated shit I've ever seen. That's my kind of movie, I can't wait for this shit.
  17. Seems the link he sent me doesn't work, I edited the post for now.
  18. First of all, Happy New Year to everyone. Sorry for the late post...I took some time at the end of the year to hit the beach in Florida while I still could before it got cold here. Well, there's an RTR video up on LP.com from the special screening they had in Pasadena, CA at the Boston Court recently. Go check that out. Next, LPPRJKT4 has uploaded a New Years gift for you all...it's a unique selection (aka 32 tracks) from the MTM touring cycle...a big compilation of live songs. Check that out HERE. Sparkart has updated their blog with a post about Linkin Park's website, which can be found HERE. Since when did Sparkart have a blog....? As far as 2009 goes, I think my friend Jasparina from LPTimes said it best, so I'll leave you with her quote that I think is appropriate: "Tough times ahead because of the economic crisis so let's hope we will have a good 2009. As regards to Linkin Park, lots to look forward to in 2009, there's the new album coming out, new music videos, new interviews, promos, tv appearances, live shows, tours, etc. Then there's Chester's Dead By Sunrise debut album and Mike's second installment of Glorious Excess art show, so, another busy year for me but I'm looking forward to all that." As far as all the Warner-hating going on, I'm not really sure why they are attacking fansites like this, but you can be sure LPLive will always be here...we're not going down, we're not going anywhere. I'll keep everything updated here on the homepage as far as LP-HQ / LP-IT goes so we can all be on the same page. I wish the best of luck to my good friends that run those sites...Ana and JomJom, respectively, and they know LPLive will always be here if they need any assistance with anything. Just to clear any confusion up: You all know the band has OK'd us sharing the live shows here, so nothing LPLive is doing should get targeted by the label. Thanks for the support and I hope 2009 is an excellent year!
  19. that is a real LP manager. you can trust that guy, don't worry. get with him and tell him your situation. that guy is official, he's not fake. that is one of the true managers of the band.
  20. Found by Felipe, nice job. I've yet to hear them but I thought I'd share anyway. Hopefully they have some good info. 21. Jay-Z absolutely fucking sucks on RTR. His voice is TERRIBLE, he looks TERRIBLE with that ugly ass jacket. That is the worst I have ever seen or heard Jay-Z in my life. I can't get over how bad his vocals are at MK, lol. NE/JWF are the worst performances of those songs ever, in my opinion. The MSG versions kick them straight to the garbage bin. Favorite song is Crawling because that's the only thing on the DVD that's unique / different than the stuff we've heard a billion times. The intro is absolutely excellent, from the shots coming down over the crowd and focusing on the screen to Mike playing the stellar keyboard piece. I'm glad Pooch and Dylan cranked it up, but his comments about it make me think that Mike has done it at other shows, but they turn it down in the mix on purpose. Regardless, that Crawling intro is amazing and is the only highlight of the DVD for me.
  22. A Cigarettes acapella where everyone claps the bear (like on the FM tours) then it goes into a song like Given Up and hell yeah f09, bring it back
  23. Numb (acoustic/piano) Really long intro w/the violin sample and some band-played instrumental piece for Faint New intro to Papercut
  24. Wow! Awesome. Best review I've read personally....excellent overall descriptions of the performance and the crowd. Very nice. I am jealous you heard songs I didn't get to see. Valentine's Day and A Place For My Head. Very cool.
