  1. Holy shit there is so much stuff already! This is incredible. I was planning on asking for them like once a month from now on, and this is an amazing start. Very very nice. I'll do my stuff soon: ATL 2007, ATL 2008, Raleigh 2008, Charlotte 2008, Tampa 2008, West Palm Beach 2008. I need to post all my shit too that I have in the emails from 2007. We possibly need to keep the name of who submitted them so we can credit them on the site - I don't want to take credit for everyone sending their stuff in Very nice work so far everyone. I can't wait to see how this all looks once we put it up.
  2. Yep receipts and pics of wristbands are accepted as well, send 'em on over Thanks! Good to see some older shows getting sent in too.
  3. Sounds great - I'd love to have them all. Thanks!
  4. aww that sucks. wow you went to shanghai - I bet that was an amazing experience. a very big crowd, yeah?
  5. There has been only 1 LPU tour in LP history. it spanned two legs - Europe and the US. Europe got 6 shows, with 2 other promo gigs, and the US got the rest. interesting to note that the UK got 3 of those shows in Europe..... 11.03.2003 Worcester, MA, Worcester Palladium, LP Underground Tour 12.03.2003 New York City, NY, Roseland Ballroom, LP Underground Tour 14.03.2003 Chicago, IL, Riviera Theatre, LP Underground Tour 15.03.2003 Minneapolis, MN, Quest Club, LP Underground Tour 17.03.2003 Detroit, MI, State Theatre, MTV 2$ Bill, LP Underground Tour 18.03.2003 St. Louis, MO, The Pageant, LP Underground Tour 20.03.2003 Dallas, TX, Bronco Bowl, LP Underground Tour 23.03.2003 San Francisco, CA, Warfield Theatre, LP Underground Tour 24.03.2003 Los Angeles, CA, Wiltern Theatre, LP Underground Tour 25.03.2003 Los Angeles, CA, Wiltern Theatre, LP Underground Tour 10 total for the US. that's more than Europe. also LIT was in the US...so was CC so we've had 1 more live DVD than the UK. LOL @ people hating the UK getting a lot of shows. dunno what to say to that. theres a week between sonisphere dates like AndOne said so I wouldnt be surprised if we saw some UK/German/French headlining arena shows. I doubt theyll do any other random countries but who knows, we'll see. we all know LPs managers love those 3 countries, lol.
  6. 11.01.2001 London, England, Goldsmith College, European Promo Need to add in Kings College London somewhere since theres multiple Goldsmith Colleges in London. Gotta do some investigating.
  7. I agree. Absolutely agree. The last two sentences from Mike are really making a statement. You should have enough respect for the band to buy their albums but I totally understand not doing that due to lack of money, etc. Personally, I never buy albums except from LP. I download everything. I still do support the artists though, because when they tour and play shows near me, I pay to go to those shows and support them in person with my reactions to their music, etc. I buy their merch, I meet them personally and thank them, etc. Buying their albums is not the only way to support them....I prefer to do it by going to their live shows. But Mike has a great point.
  8. Because there's not any fucking god damn shit going on in the LP world right now. Mike posted it and it deals with LP. M: Although I don't have a crystal ball, I think it's safe to say that the current economic situation will not affect the quality of Linkin Park music in the near future. Although we enjoy going to a recording studio to make use of a more centralized, professional environment to make our albums, I believe we are 100% capable and equipped to make "Linkin Park quality" studio albums at home. We choose to record at a studio because it gives us a focused, scheduled environment to "get serious" in. After all, if we were all making an album at my house every day, we might end up hanging out more than recording We would still get the job done, but it would take (even) longer to finish! The bottom line is that our album content and quality are of paramount importance to us, and I can't see us sacrificing them for anything. That's why it's news. There's nothing else going on worthy of being news and it's something people can check out if they have nothing else to do. It relates to the band and it's not like there's a fucking tour going on where we can cover a show every single day, lol. It's not taking up any space.
  9. Yeah LESTAT that's a much better idea. Whenever I do 4.0 I plan to make a section just for that like you're talking about. But yes I'd love the "Other Acts" area on the pages. Great idea. I guess a lot of work to add it to every show that we can but it's worth starting it now.
  10. Just noticed something when I was listening to Fairfax 2002: On With You instead of saying, "Ladies and gentlemen - Mr. Hahn!" like he usually does, Mike says "Ladies and gentlemen - DJ Afterparty!" Any idea why? I remember reading somewhere that LP was late to one of their shows once and literally got there like 5 minutes before they were supposed to go on stage due to like a snowstorm or something. No, it wasn't Edgefest, lol. I think it was a PR03 show but it might have been this one on PR02. Whatever the reason for Mike saying it, the scratch is perfect so it sounds like Joe, but maybe it's really not. Hmm.
  11. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=881 Never heard of Karma Killer? FAIL
  12. put me down for Italy, LOL maybe a German headlining arena show
  13. A few weeks ago, our staff member Felipe was able to conduct an interview with Christian (bassist) from the band Cyclefly. He took your questions about Chester, Linkin Park, Karma Killer, and his upcoming studio work. Check that out, as well as the brand new introduction I wrote for the interview, HERE. While some interviews are serious, some are informative, some are too basic, some are comical, some are just plain funny - this interview covers all of that ground. Christian is a warm-hearted guy and I'm glad we were able to clear some things up with him about 'Karma Killer'. Thanks go out to Felipe for conducting the interview, Christian for giving it, and everyone who submitted questions. We hope to do more interviews like that this year where you post questions and we give them to the person being interviewed. Stay tuned, as this is only the first in many things to come for LPLive this year.
  14. They're putting the whole show up. And wow, there's vocal pics!? Sweet. *renews*
  15. A new MySpace status from the LPUnderground MySpace account now reads: "LP UNDERGROUND look out for some new LPU exclusive studio pics on LPUnderground.com SOON!" After confirmation from Adam, it seems that the LPU will be putting up some studio pictures of Chester working on the new album later today. Go check them out! Thanks Jen for the news and update, and thanks Adam for the confirmation. Looks like I'll have to renew my account tonight since it expired the other day. Also, stay tuned for our Cyclefly interview, which is coming tonight. Hopefully we'll get more of the Smokeout '03 videos as well.
  16. Because they are. Linkin Park has been announced to headline day one and Metallica is headlining day two. Whatever day they are playing, they are opening for one of these two bands. Same for Guns N Roses. If Iron Maiden and GNR are on day 1, they open for LP - if they are on day 2 they open for Metallica. Case closed - that's how it's going to be. LP is headlining an entire day of the UK Sonisphere shows. This means Foo, GNR and/or Iron Maiden are going to open for them.
  17. that's so true. gave some $$$ to MFR so I hope it goes to help. glad the guy is in custody...disasters like this SUCK. ive had to deal with some bad hurricanes before and I know they are bad so I cant imagine another element...fire. wow.
  18. Hey guys, just letting you know that today is a big day for Julien-K! They have officially released their first single, Kick The Bass, today. You may find it on iTunes, Amazon, etc - all of your usual places. What's special about this single release for fans is that the band has thrown in a special b-side from the album recording sessions entitled 'Dreamland'. Having just purchased it from iTunes (DRM-free, I might add), I can say that it is a quality track and worth purchasing. Coming in a 4:06, the techno-ish, futuristic beat surrounds Ryan's enticing vocals, creating a perfect song for both those casual and diehard Julien-K fans. The Kick The Bass video was recently released to Playboy.com (age-restricted, however), but I'm sure it will appear in other places as the album release date comes closer. Remember, Death To Analog drops March 10 and the limited edition comes with something special for the Linkin Park fans out there - Mike Shinoda's sure-to-fucking-rock-your-world remix of the title track off the album entitled 'Death To Analog'. Check it out!
  19. Ryan from Julien-K has posted this message on the Julien-K forum in response to fans questioning him about why the band had to cancel their January 2008 European shows in support of Linkin Park. The original message read in January 2008: "Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to perform the dates as scheduled and therefore must cancel the European tour. " Ryan had this to say: "here's the truth - simplified (some of this is a bit to personal to share in to much detail). if you guys are really savvy and decide to dig deeper, you will be able to fill in the blanks as this story starts to pick up traction in the mainstream press. our company (L7) was having some major legal issues preventing us from being able to move forward in any substantial way. it wasn't anything that we (the band) did. it was a once in a lifetime nightmare that we inadvertently got caught up in - and we had no easy way out. in addition to that, and connected to it - one of our closest friends and partners were in crisis. we just couldn't leave in the middle of it. on the personal side - we needed to be there for our friend, on the business side, we were legally frozen. no passport issues, and we would never book a tour and just cancel it to go record. we lost A LOT of money by canceling that tour, and a huge opportunity. it was not taken lightly. hope this helps shed some light on why we were unable to do ANYTHING for so long. we have been in a 3 year long battle. RS" On December 7 last year, I posted this thread on our own forum entitled "Level 7, The Details You Never Knew...Until Now". Check it out. Some people don't really understand it, so I'll post a follow-up if needed. Level 7 was basically a music "company" that Chester and some friends created to release his solo album, the Julien-K album, and more. Anyway, enjoy.
  20. I know I'm a bit late on this and I don't post much Music For Relief news, but I'm going to start getting with it. From MFR: "On February 7th Australia’s deadliest bushfires swept through the southern state of Victoria fueled by strong winds and heatwave temperatures. The disaster has resulted in huge loss of life and property. 181 people have died and that figure may rise to 200 or 300 as more bodies are uncovered and as 21 fires continue to burn. Music for Relief is responding to the tragic fires in Australia by raising funds at www.musicforrelief.org. Click here to donate now. Thank you for your support!" I don't really ever donate much to any organizations, but I try to give Music For Relief some money every now and then. They always are on top of these natural disasters, whether it's a tsunami in southeast Asia, an earthquake in China, a hurricane in Haiti or Cuba, or even a bushfire in Australia. The band has done a pretty good job in establishing MFR with all of these good organizations and getting so many bands to join. I know the economy is tough right now but if you have a few extra dollars, you know MFR will make good use of it in helping disaster victims across the world. Thanks!
  21. Oh hell yeah. I am dying to see APFMH live and you have no idea how much I'd give to see RME in the USA. With You would be incredible....
