  1. Anyone got that mp3? Also LESTAT: JK DJS new gig. 'MARCH 28 AT MEDUSA"
  2. Any chance it was WMMR in Philly? I'd buy it if it had unreleased songs, for sure.
  3. I already discussed this with the owner of the below empty site months ago. from Rik reply-to rik@belowempty.com to mark date Sat, Nov 8, 2008 at 8:49 AM subject RE: Wonderful (Family Values 2001) hide details 11/8/08 Reply Hey Mark, I am terribly sorry for my late reply to this e-mail. As far as my records go, "Wonderful" was never performed live on the family values tour. There were a couple of acoustic pre-show or radio performances that STP did, but none of them ever featured Wonderful with Chester on additional vocals, according to fan reviews. I remember that at the time, the label wanted to release this song as a single. There was a lot of discussion about it in the fan community, because everyone thought this song was never performed with Chester. A lot of people will still say now that the recording was doctored in the studio. I am one of those people. I don't know if Chester's vocals were added later, but I definitely know that the crowd noise was added in the studio. Hope this helps! -Rik > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark > Sent: Sunday, August 17, 2008 9:39 PM > To: rik@belowempty.com > Subject: Wonderful (Family Values 2001) > > Hey guys, > > First of all - nice site. 4. Interesting. This sounds legit to me. Maybe China date and other shit to follow? Man I hope September means some US shows......please?
  5. Or think they got convinced that they were playing the musical play "Grease" yet again, only to find themselves in Greece?
  6. Not sure how much I believe this France date until we have some confirmation.
  7. Holy shit this is epic. Last design is A+ and I will definitely be using that one. That will go on some white shirts for sure, no doubt about it. I'll make another news post in the next few days asking people to finalize submissions and then we can get this process rolling and get the shirts made
  8. I've got like 5 of these, I didn't know they were that rare, wtf. I won one on eBay like 2 years ago for like 25 cents+shipping. Crazy.
  9. Sounds great. I hope they include a few USA shows before/after the 2009 shows they have already announced. I'd love to see a US show or two.
  10. Anyone want me to come over for the 2 German shows, lol? I'll see if I can make it happen.
  11. holy smokes can they fit an LP show on that island? looks a little small!
  12. According to the official Warner Music Germany website here, the band will be announcing more European shows in the coming days. At the bottom of the latest post about Zürich, the text reads: "Linkin Park confirms current tour dates almost daily, and sometimes dates are close to us [Germany]. Also in the next days there should be dates near enough to travel to. So stay tuned." A very rough translation....but it seems that they will announce a Germany show (or a few) shortly, and possibly more after that. Any ideas or suggestions? Do you guys think that this will be a full European tour or what?
  13. Copenhagen 03/07 -> København The international 03 canceled dates like Prague -> Praha need to be fixed as well. Some of our proper city names are still missing.
  14. Sounds like Sweden will get a show. Hopefully this turns into like a small European tour, Japan, and a few USA shows. Oh man play the US for once in the break before the album. Japan was in 2006, I'd like to see them do like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, etc...the cities that had the LPU tour in 03 or something for a short US run promoting the CD and showing off new music in clubs before Julien-K/Dead By Sunrise tour in the fall.
  15. So is the PR09 thing a fact or a misconception or what?
  16. All of these submissions are amazing! thanks very much you guys I love them.
  17. http://julien-k.com/scene/ -> Page 2 -> React Now -> "Once again my house (in this case, my living room) became the rehearsal spot for our acoustic version of "let down"". That says to me that the album version is heavy / more-rock than the one we have now. It says to me that they worked an acoustic version just for that performance, which is the way I've always understood it.
  18. I need a scan of this joker, I'm going broke from all the concerts I go to, lol.
  19. And Metallica also was not allowed to release their Australian shows. For their 2004 Madly In Anger World Tour, they played in New Zealand and Australia but Warner Music Australia prohibited them selling the shows, just like they prohibited LP from doing it. LP's excuse for Europe was not this even though Pooch referenced it in a way. Some countries are stricter in Europe than others (see DSPs in the UK but just live CDs in Germany and France, etc), but LP couldn't do it last summer in Europe because of not having any time to mix the shows. Sucks that we didn't get Australia, especially after they did multiple nights at a good amount of venues on that tour (damn). I'd love to hear the full show where Chester broke his wrist....
  20. this is a real setlist. got some in depth better pics of it today...ill post it all shortly.
  21. Same here. I think it's likely he will. I've been dying for Mike to do another song with: -Someone from Cypress Hill (CHECK, that's coming up soon) -Kenna (CHECK, that's going to happen) -Lupe Fiasco (CHECK, he produced 'The Instrumental' but I'd love for him to lay vocals down with Lupe again, oh shit man) And either Black Thought (his voice is very unique and cool to me) or K'naan (hell yeah). This will be sweet. I'm a big fan of 'Red Man' by Kenna...I need to explore his other shit too.
  22. You heard it on LPLive first - we have a fan-submitted article from an interview with Kenna that states he's going to be working with Mike on a new EP entitled "MSTSMF Outtakes", to be released later this year. Other guests include Questlove, James Valentine from Maroon 5, and The Cool Kids. As we all know, Kenna dropped some vocals on 'Red To Black' and 'The Hard Way' on Mike's Fort Minor album The Rising Tied in 2005. It seems the two are now pairing up yet again. "According to the Kenna Buzzine Interview, Chad & Kenna are working their asses off to release 4 EP’s this year which are based on Emerson’s "Self-Reliance" and some unreleased "MSTSMF" tracks and last but not least a new album "Songs For Flight" for the next year. Kenna also revealed that they worked with JoJo. Kenna Projects: MSTSMF Outtakes (EP) (2009) Featuring The Cool Kids, Questlove, Mike Shinoda, James Valentine (Maroon 5)" Kenna later went on to answer this question: "RJ: What can fans expect to hear on Sounds for Flight?" "K: The unexpected. It’s nothing like anything anyone has heard before. I’ve already started that as well — I’m two songs in. So that album is definitely going to be an interesting departure. I might actually put one more EP out before those Atlanta Air Chronicles, but I’m not sure yet. I’m just deciding right now. One that’s a Make Sure They See My Face revisited that kind of has songs that didn’t make the record, and the Cool Kids version of “Loose Wires” and an addendum to “Loose Wires,” and the “Black Goodbye Ride” song that I did with Questlove and something I did with Mike Shinoda, and something I did with James Valentine from Maroon 5. We’ll see. I’m in the middle of it right now. Thanks To Dre." Source HERE. Thanks to 'Rade' for the news! Also, thanks for the Julien-K questions - they have been sent off so I'll let you know when they come back to us answered and ready to go.
  23. Yeah Robert is in charge of them I believe. Mike also helps I think?
  24. They try to give their best and they are not succesfull in it. Why? Because of the label. Definitely.
