  1. We're working on improving relations between the LPU, the fansites and the fans (you guys).
  2. Earlier tonight during a conference call with my friend Derek over at LPAssociation and some LPU Management folks, we had a brief chance to talk to Rob, who confirmed to us that the song featured at about 12 seconds into the Transformers 2 trailer is indeed Linkin Park's new song "New Divide". More information about the song should be coming within the next few days. For all you doubters, there's your confirmation! We're working on ways to improve relations between the LPUnderground, the fansites, and the fans, so check back for info on that as well. For all of you who know how much I disapproved of the way the LPU was run a few years ago - things have definitely changed course and I personally am very impressed with the way things are going now. Anyway, the trailer can be viewed here in High Def: http://michaelbay.com/ Thanks to LPU Management, Adam, Jessica and of course Rob for the update!
  3. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1461 Yep.
  4. Yeah this show is nasty. Great great setlist, I love With You / Runaway / Papercut opening, then the Don't Stay intro is just great. It's Goin' Down acapella intro, and then Mike on the grand piano for BTH, Numb, Crawling intro, and My December. BTH sounds pretty sweet, this was the first big tour they ever performed it on.
  5. I'd like to give a happy birthday shoutout to Astat, who's turning 21 today. He has dedicated quite a lot of time into LPLive, from correcting a million pages to upkeeping the multiple-setlists on a tour pages, and more. He also does our "Songs Played Live" list, which tells you the first and last time a song has been played as well as any special information about it. Basically, he does quite a lot on the site and 21 is a big birthday, so I thought I'd upload a show for it. Presenting - Cleveland 2004. The band was 5 shows into it's biggest tour ever, the Meteora World Tour, around the US and Canada. They were playing their longest setlist to date and were selling out arenas left and right. This performance has one of my favorite versions of 'A Place For My Head' as well. Check it out, we'd love to know what you think, and we hope you enjoy it! The show page can be found here and you can download the show right here. Thanks!
  6. We tried to even it up as much as possible by keeping Julien-K questions in there for him but also adding some Chester here and there since this is an LP site, and lastly adding a hybrid series of questions that had both Chester/JK references. Glad you enjoyed it
  7. p5hng la03, 2nd verse chaz vocal messup east troy 08 - setlist says: -- WID Faint -- CFTI BIO LP really did: -- CFTI WID Faint -- BIO odd.
  8. 2008 page * Changed Athens from black to gray again livelistdbs.php * Did the intro to the page finally. content.php * Updated some descriptions of things and changed some dates of updated pages. livelist.php * Updated all songs played live. Why the hell was this not updated after PR08? Woops! sbdrecordings.php * Added 2009 recordings.
  9. Can anyone clarify this for me, lol? I see no results on the internet ANYWHERE for Mihama Athletic Field, but I can find a million for Chatan. LP's tour manager specifically told Adam that it was Mihama and not Chatan, so that's interesting. I can find one Destiny's Child show for Mihama listed for today (5/7)...that is it, I can't find any info on the venue or anything. Anyone have a clue? I sent some emails to some Japanese people but I doubt I'll get a reply, we'll see.
  10. This isn't one force to mess with - you not only have Warner Bros and LP management out to get you, but you also have Michael Bay and Paramount. Double whammy, lol. Ouch that'd suck.
  11. Ryan: we plan on coming to pretty much every major city this year. we will be touring as both Jk and DBS all year. not necessarily at the same time. Chaz says there's secret DBS performances in the works as well.
  12. If people knew just how much and how hard you worked to get this for the LPU, they'd be more inclined to keep it as an LPU exclusive. In most cases with LP news, it has to do with "where" it was posted FIRST, so in this case the LPU had something first for once again thanks to you, so a lot of people are grateful for just that. It's hard to keep something exclusive when it's info about the new LP song, whether it was released to LP.com, the LPU, LPLive, or 30SecondsToMars.net If it was here first, it'd be all over the internet in 10 minutes anyway. Thanks for your hard work, I know after talking to you for several days constantly of all the work you, the LPU and LP management put in to get it released to the LPU Can't wait for the song. It's just Chaz on vocals but we'll see how it is.
  13. He says Taiwan is a part of China for sure. He is wrong when he says that. Chester doesn't know his geography I guess. He thinks Taiwan is totally owned and in China and stuff. Wow. I bet they play the new song at all the shows this summer, and when he says they're playing China he means they're playing Taiwan, lol. Sucks that it's just him singing...I'd like some Shinoda rapping.
  14. Greetings, comrades. I am honored to present to you our newest interview - an interview with Ryan Shuck from Julien-K and Orgy. You guys submitted questions, we submitted questions, Julien-K fans submitted questions, Satan submitted questions (no, really)...and we've finally gotten off of our lazy asses to put it up. We caught up with him in early March; it's May now so what the hell took so long!? Great question....I'm wondering that myself. Anyway check the whole kickin' thing out right here. Thanks to Felipe, Gary, Ryan Shuck, and everyone that submitted questions. I think I will do another staff interview soon (probably as soon as I clean up the staff page, hah). After that, I think it's time we get another interview with someone...how about oh....maybe CHESTER? We'll see. Thanks guys! Let us know what you think of the interview.

  16. Song title should be out 5/6 somehow or another.
  17. Source: http://fohonline.com/index.php?option=com_...0&Itemid=39 Thanks to Pro Tools, he’s able to fix and edit some of the band’s performances. "If they played a section that was really out that night, we’ll take a piece from another verse and move it," he explains. "We'll never use a song from a different show or even a track from a different show and import it. If they didn’t play it somewhere in that song, then we don't use it. There have been a lot of discussions of whether or not we should fix something and it always comes back to leaving it alone. We really try to make it feel like you’re standing there at the show because that’s what these kids want to buy." Thoughts? Check the show notes on these pages: http://lplive.net/shows/20080118.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080120.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080218.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080716.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080719.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080730.php http://lplive.net/shows/20071113.php etc, etc. I wonder if they ended up going and ever using tracks from other shows. If something isn't audible by the crowd but still recorded, they can put that in the audio, but if the band just messed it up and there's no other part you can put in, it'd seem like they would put in a piece from another show. I'm not sure though. OSC, Mansfield 08 intro, I guess you could substitute in a guitar riff from later on the intro or something. Hmm. Interesting.
  18. congrats sorry I edited it that much, I usually don't do that. if you submit more in the future of course I'll move it to the homepage thanks for letting us know about this!
  19. yep, true true. I hope it's a heavier song, not like LOATR and has some rap in it. or the new album at least has some more Mike rapping than MTM. regardless, this song is gonna be sweet.
  20. All the hype that was created for LPU 8 being "the best LPU cd yet" and with "totally exclusive material"..... what a letdown.
  21. Hell the fuck yeah, this is awesome. I'm excited as hell. This is gonna be great!
  22. Pooch was going to inform me what show it was from when SFTU first came out and now he's gotten so busy in life and stuff that he can't do it anymore...damn.
  23. Chester doesn't have Twitter. This is fake.
