Only $300 round trip for a flight, $80 for a ticket. Looks possible for me. Need to see the setlists first though. If they are playing another new song (besides New Divide) and some epic older songs then hell yeah I'd do it. It's possible it could be one of those things like 2006 where LP only did some songs on that little run, etc.

....LP records every show they do. Starting with Berlin 07 they have recorded every performance. This has nothing to do with DSPs. It's not up to him if they sell them. We currently have no idea if we'll get any DSP / live CD from 2009.

I don't believe it yet until LP.com confirms it. WAY too many fake Brazilian posts about LP coming. Like Astat said, every year there's bullshit posted about them going to Brazil. I'll wait and get official confirmation on this one.

This is Mike's new keyboard "rig" setup. It's got the new synth situation built into the top of it...pretty creative. Instead of just using a separate synth stand for 'New Divide', he'll be using this keyboard rig the entire show. Looks like someone's trying to build an imitation Mount Hahn...? Haha.

Alright, y'all! We thought we had to wait until Europe, but nope - Linkin Park is playing their first show of 2009....tonight! Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen is premiering tonight at Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California at about 6:30pm PST. After the event, Linkin Park will be playing right smack dab in the middle of Wilshire Boulevard right outside of the theater. That's right - they've shut down Wilshire Boulevard and surrounding areas so Linkin Park can take the stage and play six songs for an enthusiastic crowd. After several rehearsals over the past week, the band has decided on six songs that they will be playing. They are on tap to play 'New Divide', 'What I've Done' (both of which were in Transformers) and a few more songs. If you want to see the setlist, head to rehearsal page from the other day here otherwise I won't ruin it for you who are actually going to the show tonight. It should be a blast. MTV will be there filming from what we've heard; they said 'New Divide' from the show will be played during some Paris Hilton show tomorrow on MTV at night. If you are going to the show, you should drop by and post about your day. Let us know how excited you are, how hectic Westwood will be today, and if you're going to just the show or the movie as well. After the show, post a review, post some pictures, post your experience. Aiman over at the LPU found something pretty interesting recently, so I thought I'd post it here. First of all, check out this Snax tour diary. Snax is a band that Phoenix (Dave) and Mark Fiore (LP's videographer) were in before Linkin Park. Phoenix even left LP to tour with The Snax for a while - he's missing from the video of 'One Step Closer' and missed some touring with Linkin Park of course. Anyway, the tour diary says this: "Thursday November 16th, 2000 - 6:13:12 pm it is fiore here, Jim, dave, cheese and myself are going to be extras on DAWSON'S CREEK, wed the 22nd of November- look for us- we are there posing as high school students!" Now check out this video on YouTube of the episode of Dawson's Creek entitled "The Unusual Suspects". Check around 1 minute and 15 seconds in, and look on the left. See it? If not, here's a hint. LPU for sure. Who knows, they could do something like "Well the band wants to be nice, so they're doing a m&g with the fans tonight" at the last minute. I mean for anything like this...it's always better to use your sources that're closer to the band in my opinion. I mean maybe not that but it could be something like "LPU fans are our backbone, so you guys get to be in the front" or something. I mean any small perk like that is worth it in my opinion. If not any of that, you still get to see Adam at the check-in!!!
