Just not a fan of the screen being split. Not my personal taste. I thought last time LP was on Kimmel they aired all of WID/BIO. Right?

Terrible. The MTV version was much better than the Jimmy Kimmel one. MUCH better. On Kimmel they did some 3-way screen split with terrible video cuts. Then on the bridge they did black/white for a minute then it was like black/white/orange. Simply too much video editing. The MTV version was a straight, epic proshot version. No need to edit the video for the first performance so much. Kimmel version was failure. Then What I've Done. Where the hell was that? They showed the intro and about 10 seconds of the song and BAM the show ended. What in the world. Fail again. I hope there's an MTV rip....

It really sucks it took me this long to get started with LPLive. I had the very beginning of a series of ideas for my own live LP site a bit further back than that... I was pretty frustrated in how long it took ForfeitTheGame to update MWT / PR04 setlists. Anyway I almost launched the text version of the site before Japan 06...I followed it closely and updated my little pages accordingly but waited until it was all said and done to put it online. I don't really have a weird feeling going into this tour. We've improved on every tour we've done. PR07 we were putting setlists up the night of the shows...probably a few hours afterward. I still remember going to bed at 3-4am EST before school just to get the setlists posted. In 2008, we had people starting to text us from the show with the actual setlists. By the time PR08 came, I had people callling me FROM the shows, letting me hear some songs and then calling back afterward as they made their way from the pit to the car to tell me what to post. Who knows what 2009 will bring. There was almost a webcast for us of the show last night. Anything is possible. With me going to 5 shows this summer, I'll see what I can do. I think the fact it's a tour that's not MTM-based doesn't really matter. We'll use the tour to expedite our time in getting info and setlists up and improve our accuracy in doing so. Most importantly, we'll have fun in doing so! I'll have it of course like we usually do with a thread per show and let everyone post their reviews, pictures, videos and all that good stuff in them. End of rant. I think this summer will be a lot of fun.

I've been waiting for someone to say that. I absolutely agree. Chester, especially on Faint, sounded very very good (on all songs except ND). ND was a bit weak but hey, it's the first performance of it so I mean it'll get better. Remember when they did 'What I've Done' on Saturday Night Live and everyone was like "OMG CHESTER, UGH SUCKY VOCALS"? He improved and can nail it now. Let's see how he improves with New Divide throughout 2009 and 2010.

Just like I thought Joe: also - some of the set lists that fans posted have songs left off - be careful about believing everything a fan may post quickly without checking to see if they left something off. -RS Their setlist doesn't go from 9 to 6 songs in the middle of a tour, lol. Some of the setlists are wrong.

This mod is awesome. Funny how 3/4 of the people are wanting to know about the summer tour w/LP and the band is avoiding it every time it's brought up.

Not at all lol. Seems pretty shitty though, you have to admit. Of course LP doesn't control that or else they'd put the LPU'ers right in the front of the stage. I was pretty surprised though once I got a few texts that said "WTF, shitty view!!!" and "Obstructed view, they put us all on the sides of the stag with the VIPs in the middle" etc.
