  1. Craziest crowds: Sao Paulo 2004 Rock am Ring 2007 Rock am Ring 2004 Taiwan 2007 Tokyo 2006 I'm sure some other epic ones that we don't have recordings for...maybe some international 03/04 ones.
  2. 25.06.2008 Athens, Greece, Terra Vibe Park, European Tour -Added show notes and edited the ones already there.
  3. On the Faint intro at RAR04, Chester says "pogo pogo pogo pogo". He is referencing another band's performance from a few years earlier I believe. Someone linked me a while back to a video on YouTube to like Slipknot or some other band, Limp Bizkit or something in the Netherlands where they said that before one of their songs. Anyone have a clue? I'd like to add it to the RAR04 page.
  4. Not if they're doing new music on the road.
  5. Me too man. Japanese tapers are some of the best. Japanese crowds too.
  6. Fixed Cicero, the official live page shit, Medusa Lounge and some other stuff (see the other thread).

  8. Summer Sonic 2009 info has been posted over at SummerSonic.com. The Summer Sonic official flyer with a list of all the bands, the dates they perform on, and more can be found here. Tickets are on sale on the Summer Sonic website. Linkin Park will be performing with a number of other bands on the following dates: -August 8, 2009 in Chiba City, Japan @ Chiba Marine Stadium -August 9, 2009 in Osaka, Japan @ Maishima The show goes from August 7th to August 9th, but it looks like Linkin Park will only be performing on those two dates unless there is something like they did in 2006 - a Summer Sonic "After" Festival. It basically looks like that there are 3 "groups" of bands. My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, and Beyonce are the headliners of the 3 groups. For example, group MCR plays the 7th in Tokyo and 8th in Osaka, group LP plays the 8th in Tokyo and the 9th in Osaka, while the last group plays in Osaka on the 7th and in Tokyo on the 9th. Confusing, but it looks like each band only plays two shows instead of three (which is my point). Other bands playing on the stage before Linkin Park include Elvis Costello, Hollywood Undead, Placebo, The All-American Rejects, and more. With that said, the 2009 page has been updated with these dates (we are as accurate as possible, of course): 08.08.2009 Chiba City, Japan, Chiba Marine Stadium, Summer Sonic Festival 09.08.2009 Osaka, Japan, Maishima, Summer Sonic Festival
  9. aww that sucks. that's ok, we'll do some contests on LPLive. I won an awesome as hell t-shirt from them. it was the first contest, I believe. props to the LPU for doing such a cool giveaway MONTH
  10. How could I have missed this one!? If you guys weren't aware by now, the LPU has established pages on both Facebook and Twitter, where they give regular updates on both the band's news as well as fun updates from the LPU HQ. For example, this month was the LPU Extreme Giveaway Month. You could reply to their Twitter and Facebook pages and win cool merch like a signed drumstick or a t-shirt, etc by entering in contests - some as simple as just being the 10th person to reply to a "Tweet" or some asking you to create a Linkin Park "haiku". Cool, eh? Anyway, a week ago on their Facebook page, the LPU HQ posted a video entitled "LPU HQ Commercial". Starring Adam in his first commercial, this is one you won't want to miss...especially if you like LP-related comedy. I know I laughed! Check it out right here and get all of the reasons why you should join the LPU .....in video form! "This video is rated "LPU" for extreme awesomeness."
  11. http://www.lplive.net/officiallive.php I need to add these 2 to this page. Thanks for the heads up.
  12. 26.07.2003 Chicago, IL, Hawthorne Racetrack, Summer Sanitarium Chicago, IL -> Cicero, IL Breaking The Habit from the Projekt Revolution 2004 sampler CD. No More Sorrow from the "No More Sorrow (Live)" promo CD. -> Add to: http://www.lplive.net/officiallive.php
  13. No. Medusa Lounge for the last one as well.
  14. Alright. Good luck. LA03 show notes: - Mike's vocals are very audible at this show on 'P5hng Me A*wy'. - After 'In The End', Mike talked about from where all the bands were from and said that "We get to claim to LA, we are very proud to claim LA" and instructed the fans to go crazy on 'A Place For My Head'. - After 'Figure.09', Mike stated that the crowd had the biggest mosh pits of the tour. - At the end of 'With You', Joe scratches the "break" vocal sample from '1 Stp Klsr'. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- updated Turkey 2009 venue Hazarfen Airfield -> Istanbul Park ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://lplive.net/shows/20030902.php Recoreded -> Recorded ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://lplive.net/shows/20031015.php -> Show page re-added finally. http://lplive.net/shows/20060812.php http://lplive.net/shows/20060813.php http://lplive.net/shows/20060815.php -> Edited show notes
  15. A setlist I'd like to see in Europe: 01. Faint (new intro) 02. Given Up 03. Don't Stay 04. Runaway 05. Somewhere I Belong (new intro) 06. NEW SONG 07. No More Sorrow (long intro) 08. Points Of Authority (album) 09. And One 10. Papercut 11. NEW SONG 12. Figure.09 13. Forgotten 14. P5hng Me A*wy 15. Numb (acoustic) 16. Shadow Of The Day 17. Crawling (w/ Reanimated intro + HHH) 18. In The End - 19. What I've Done (w/ AMBO intro) 20. Breaking The Habit (extended like hell) - 21. A Place For My Head (all extenders) 22. One Step Closer (w/ Reanimated bridge) In another set throw in Easier To Run, With You, By Myself, Lying From You, Step Up, Bleed It Out, Leave Out All The Rest, Reading My Eyes, and maybe a few others. This is one I'd like to see. Alternate 3 sets in Europe.
  16. Didn't you say it was released on an old taper forum like in 2003 or something? Are you sure NOONE has it?
  17. Mike said he's doing 5-10 demos a week. Also I think it'd be cool to see LPTV with them covering shit like: -SURU -Small clips of new songs -Studio stuff, like showing us around and general goofing around -Random shit the band is doing -Some Dead By Sunrise work -Mike's art that he's doing -Other cool stuff Maybe a 10 min episode every Saturday or something, I mean that'd be really damn cool, lol. That'd give us all kinds of information. Mike is like "Hi guys, this week we've had 1 band meeting...worked on a few demos together...one of them we worked on a lot drum-wise and Rob did a great job *shot to Rob tracking and a small clip*" then like "I've also been still working on my art" etc etc "Chester continues his DBS work" then a 2-3 segment on that. It has potential but it'd never happen.
  18. Mountain View 04
  19. Update is that Jonas and I are pretty certain we're doing Zurich, Stuttgart, and G-Town. Nkramar is welcome on the trip and invited...and John is going as well I believe to the 2 German shows.
  20. Crawling was remastered w/My December and Hunger Strike was never released in SBD form by LP
  21. Straight from LP.com: "Linkin Park will be playing at the Rock N Coke Festival in Istanbul, Turkey on July 19. Tickets go on sale at 11am (Local) on April 13 here." Wikipedia says: "Rock'n Coke is a Turkish rock festival sponsored by Coca-Cola. It is traditionally held at the Hezarfen Airfield in Istanbul, Turkey." I guess this is your venue. 2007 featured the Smashing Pumpkins and Chris Cornell, 2006 had Muse and Placebo, and 2005 had The Cure, Korn, and The Offspring. The official Rock N Coke website can be found here, so check for updates on the other bands playing on the bill. After last year's rumored/canceled show, this will be Linkin Park's first appearance in Turkey! How awesome! Congratulations to all of the Turkey fans for finally getting a Linkin Park show. For those of you who are curious, this show is now the first 2009 date for the band.
  22. Philly 03 was taped but even if it was deleted, you need to still list it
  23. Hey LPLive'ers out there, User 'sckofelng" has created a thread for all of you that are going to any European shows. You can post your name and it'll appear under the show, etc, all that fun stuff. If you're going to a show on the European Tour? You should post here and let people know about it. This can possibly help us in the future when we need setlist confirmations, etc. While this is in the preliminary stages of something bigger, I think the idea is great and can help the site out in the long run. A similar thread has been created for the Japan shows at Summer Sonic here. If you haven't planned on traveling to a show, you might want to start thinking about it since it's rumored that there are only a few more shows announcements coming up for Linkin Park in 2009 Thanks!
  24. What's up motherfuckers. I am planning a Europe 2009 trip currently and of course the goal is to see LP. I have picked 4 shows that make the most sense for me, and I'll see what I can do. Currently nothing is guaranteed...nothing is set in stone yet but I'm working on it. These are the shows I have decided on going to if I am able to travel to Europe: 23.07.2009 Graz, Austria, Stadthalle 28.07.2009 Zürich, Switzerland, Hallenstadion 30.07.2009 Stuttgart, Germany, Cannstatter Wasen 02.08.2009 Gräfenhainichen, Germany, Ferropolis 'Stadt aus Eisen' Austria, Switzerland, and Germany are all bordering each other, so I wouldn't have to fly ridiculous distances. I need more information on travel within Europe. Train? Bus? Plane? What's the cheapest? Any suggestions on how to get from show to show? Any chance I could sleep on a couch or something of any LPL members for a show or 2? Any subtractions in total trip costs increases my chance of going. Each venue is very unique for these 4 shows so I hope I can get something out of it. If it's the same setlist it shouldn't matter and if they do 1-2-3 rotation again, I'll see set 2 three times but hey, it's all in the fun. We'll see what happens. I wish I could go to Greece and all the other badass shows in Europe but these 4 should be epic. Time to start planning.
  25. Same spot as the 2007 Taipei show
