  1. Or shit just make it epic as hell and have them play all 6 LPJZ songs and open the set with NMS, throw in RME, IP, etc..VDay...other shit from MTM since it was an MTM show. Close with POA/99/OSC. But then the label would say 'well this DVD has the six LPJZ songs PLUS a 13 song LP set, so people aren't gonna buy CC anymore (well duh, it came out in 2004, lmao). I still say they should have used the first MK setlist to REALLY make it a special show. Why they didn't sell MFR05 as an MFR-benefit DVD in 2005 I have no idea. FRGT10 live, all 6 LPJZ songs, epic production...dunno, lol. Now I see why FTI is 2nd. We were going apeshit thinking they moved FTI and LFY just to have a new setlist so we criticized them to hell...well it actually had a point. There was going to be no LFY, lol. FTI 2nd would be smart in that case, but I dunno, I'm just not a fan at all of MK due to such a normal set. RME / DOYS/LFY would have made me buy 5 copies and flip my opinion 100%. But, where did this come from? Haven't seen any confirmation on this yet even though it appeared on LP.com in the photos section (which everyone can upload to). Just like the fake PR08 setlists that were floating around. This seems logical to me of course but I'd like to see some more proof before I back it like I backed the PR08 fake sets. It always pays to be a little skeptical...don't believe *everything* you read.
  2. Show would have been 10x better if it had that setlist. BIO not closing = win, JW/Faint closing = epic, RME = AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. DOYS/LFY = holy shit
  3. I specifically didn't add those because we don't have any info on them. I think it'd be best to leave them off until we have the city/venue.
  4. Well it depends on who I sell them through. I'm sure I can get somewhere that ships internationally. Let me find a few online sellers and see if it's easier to sell them that way than rather do it myself (lots of work, but I can do it). The designs look great - thanks very much. "A very nice idea, what are going to do with the money youll get for the shirts?" I am not going to make any profit off of them. I will sell them exactly how much the shirts cost + Shipping/Handling. I don't need any money from these and I'd rather more people be able to buy them because they are cheaper.
  5. Also, can you make that in 1000x1000? I'm messing around with Cafepress and shit online - no idea if I'll use it but it's worth a shot...see if you can get that in a higher res and also one with a white and a gray background.
  6. I think price-wise I can get shirts as low as $15 + S/H
  7. Gotta put a lot down here at the "idea pad" so we can pick the best 10-12 and ask them Nothing wrong with speculating and brainstorming.....
  8. He said he'll fix the typo soon. Otherwise it looks great.
  9. That is badass! I'd love to have that on a black shirt. I personally love black shirts but I'm sure some people want white or something else. Perhaps we'll have to have a vote on what colors to have too, haha. I'd like to keep it to a minimum but I mean we can have a bunch if the members want it. Anyway very nice, I love the first submission
  10. Questions- How was the Dead By Sunrise album process different than the Death To Analog process? Dead By Sunrise seems to be more rock-oriented while Death To Analog encompasses many genres. How long did it take the guys to come up with the acoustical arrangement for Let Down to perform live? Were any other songs considered to be played? I believe it has been mentioned somewhere that before the Dead By Sunrise album was done, Chester was helping Ryan with his vocal strength and ability...is this true? How long ago did the coming up with songs and recording start for Julien-K? What was the first song to be done and what was the last song to be done? When did the process start for Dead By Sunrise? Were you guys actually working on two albums at once at one point? Did the Dead By Sunrise recording just include Ryan, Amir, Fu, and Chester, or did Brandon and Elias also contribute at times? There are three projects Chester and Ryan are involved in - Dead By Sunrise, Julien-K, and Bucket Of Weenies. Which one came first (Julien-K was obviously started first, but Chester wasn't initially involved I believe?) and how did it come to be a relationship that eventually spanned three different musical projects? Over the course of the past few years, Chester has stated a few times that he was done with the record, but then later said he wanted to either re-do a few songs or write a few more. An example of this comes in 2007 when he said the record was done, but following the Linkin Park overseas tour and the Julien-K supporting Evanescence tour, he wanted to continue work on the album. What was this like? Was the album actually complete at one point and then it was revisted? Are you guys (Chester included) ....in a sense...."perfectionists" when it comes to songs? Chester also said that the Dead By Sunrise album was one that could be done, then put away for an extended period of time, and later brought back out and it would still be a solid, up-to-date album that fit in perfectly with the rock music at the time (meaning if he held it from 2006 to 2009, it would still be a solid album) - do you guys feel this way as well? What was it like to have Chester produce Death To Analog? Did it just come natural for you guys to pick him? I believe this is the first actual production credit he will have on an album. Obviously as we've seen with Blue Monday, you tend to pick lesser-known songs to cover. How did you guys come up with the idea to cover Nvr Say Nvr? Ryan on Projekt Revolution 2007 stated that he wanted to get out and introduce the band by playing shows instead of having some "tired ass radio station play our songs". How was that? Not many bands just pop out and go on tour like that - was that a good experience for you guys? After moving to the Evanescence tour later that year, it seems that you guys preferred to have total control over the excellent production elements of your set by playing at night. How was that tour? You guys certainly like playing indoors better, correct? Maybe it's just me, but Ryan's vocals sound a lot softer on Dreamland and add a very unique element to the track. How did the idea come about for that song? What tracks off of Death To Analog are your favorite? What about your favorite song to play live? Do you guys have plans to record another video maybe later on in the album cycle?
  11. Yep, sure did. Felipe is awesome - he's our main guy for interviews (he gets them unlike anyone I've ever seen, lol) and he gets some pretty good show sources too.
  12. I have a *lot* to cover in the next few weeks with you guys, so let's get started. - First order of business - LPLive t-shirts. Quite a number of our members and visitors have expressed to me that they'd like us to create LPLive shirts for the fans to purchase. Awesome. With the first tour dates coming out for the summer, now is the time to have them done. I have some questions that need addressing and you guys will be the ones I want the feedback from, of course. What colors do we need? Do we want just shirts? Or hoodies? Long-sleeved shirts? Hats? I think if you guys will make some designs, I can get a poll up and running on the site and we can vote on the designs we want. So attention LPLive artists - submit your designs for our merch by March 14 (a little over 2 weeks from now), and we'll have a vote on it all. Please submit all ideas HERE. We'd like to get everything finalized so that they can be shipped out at the LATEST in May. Thanks! - Secondly, Felipe has worked his magic and scored us yet ANOTHER interview - this time with JULIEN-K! Please post all questions you have for them in a reply to this thread. We will be sending the questions off on Monday, so you have all weekend to come up with questions about their album, touring, Chester's work with them, the Dead By Sunrise CD, things like 'Let Down (Acoustic)', and more. - Next, the ticket stub collection is going VERY well and I'm getting so many tickets that I thought would never see the day of light (see: Music For Relief 2005, a canceled Beijing 2008 show, etc). Keep sending them in and I'll be sure to mention it about once a month for anyone that's lazy out there like me. - Also, I'd like to announce a new thing I'll be doing on the site. I will be conducting some interviews with both our staff and regular members, as well as just some visitors. I will post about two or three a month, depending on how slowly or quickly the LP news is coming in. For now, I'd like to announce some changes in the staff. liliverson, a long-time member of the site, has been promoted to a moderator of the forums, and LESTAT has been promoted from our 'Mini Staff' to our 'Core Staff'. While we have more promotions and shakeups of the staff soon (see: Felipe, etc), you can check out the interviews with LESTAT and liliverson here. All of these changes are done in the best interest of the site, so congratulations! This also reminds me to finish the touching up of the Staff page (...oops)! - Lastly, we will be starting an LPLive Newsletter soon, and we'll send it out to all members of the site. I have Amanda (SthGirlAM) working with me on it since she is very talented with newsletters, photoshop, etc. If you have any ideas for THAT, you can post them in this thread also. Thanks!
  13. Please submit all of your merch ideas, pictures, artwork, etc for us here. Deadline is March 10, and voting will begin shortly afterwards. We are still debating whether to have just t-shirts, or hoodies, long-sleeved shirts, and hats as well. Thanks!
  14. Isn't it outdoors in Pori? I thought the show was outdoors, not in the arena there at Kirjurinluoto. The International Jazz Festival is held there outdoors (I THINK) and the Knebworth show is outside, but I'm not sure. Knebworth Park is on the grounds of Knebworth House. Stevenage is the nearest big city...Knebworth is right. The park is more specific than the House. Check their website and you'll see it's at the Park.
  15. I HIGHLY doubt Trent will want LP to collaborate with them on Wish. Wow that'd be really weird.
  16. Awesome job everyone - AWESOME! I am uploading shit all the time from random image searches online. Got a nice collection so far...I'll keep searching. Anything you all see that you want to submit here that's fine. Link or whatever
  17. lmao. Good luck everyone on filming, etc. Doesn't matter what they release on the LPU CD's anymore I guess really...just full AUD would be nice of the shows. I hope management will sell DSPs since they sold them in Japan in 2007. However, it's a festival so anything can happen. The only festivals LP sold them at were in Canada. We've gotta be on top of LPJapan (the fansite) for setlists, etc since they update ASAP after shows. They also post their live CDs there.
  18. I swear to god I managed to keep my wristband on for days after my show until I found a way to get it off without breaking it. I went into the bathroom one night and just sat there for hours gently pulling and bending/folding my hand in every direction possible I could to get it off. Painful and stupid, but I managed to get it off without having to cut it, so now I have a perfect LPU M&G wristband. I'll take a picture soon...I'm pretty happy I didn't have to cut it.
  19. I hope this leads to a USA tour right after this. A fall or winter tour.
  20. I'm sure the Japanese will tape it. They are big big big big on taping LP's Tokyo / Osaka shows. Summer Sonic, both shows, and the SS After performance were recorded, and all 4 LP Japan 07 shows were recorded. We'll get tapes from them but DSPs are a must because I bet we'll get some new shit played. AHHH Japan gets so much amazing stuff.
  21. yep Nick's rig is epic. We need them to sell live CDs and/or DSPs. If they don't then it is an absolute joke. Metallica will sell their Sonisphere performances on livemetallica.com, I 100% guarantee it. LP better do the damn same or it will look bad in the eyes of the fans if Metallica can do it but LP won't. They have time this time to mix the shows. Summer Europe 08 wasn't sold cause they couldn't mix 'em between shows but now they can do it.
  22. Need some DSPs!!!!!!!! Sell Live CDs!!!!!!!
  23. Fuckin shit is confirmed, main post edited, thanks 'nameless', 'liliverson' and everyone else.
  24. I'll have to check, I'm not sure. Uploaded a few of mine. Still working on some more. And the best one, a JPG of the PDF for the TicketFast ticket for ATL 07, lol. Still looking for the Tampa ticket I had (not Preston's), and I've still got some ATL 07 stuff to scan. I need to get Preston's for Tampa 07, Nashville 08, and Atlanta 07, and then Amanda's....
  25. Badass, thanks. Jonas we can use the ones with faces in them, it's fine.
