  1. I decided to make a list of semi-important information LPLive is looking for about shows. This pertains to show information or perhaps a show we need the setlist for. *Any Xero or Hybrid Theory band show dates. I think now we have the Xero shows, probably. We need some setlists and info. Live Guide is very incomplete for the year 2000. Did Hybrid Theory play a good number of shows between 1998-2000? Is that Wisconsin date real? 26.01.2001 Seattle, WA, Showbox Theatre, Street Soldier Tour *First main LP tour of their own. They added 'High Voltage' in San Francisco. Was the setlist any different for the first few shows of the tour? 26.02.2001 Lisboa, Portugal, Coliseum, LP Supporting Deftones Tour 27.02.2001 Oporto, Portugal, Coliseum, LP Supporting Deftones Tour *What is up with these shows? Was it really a passport issue? Was LP really scheduled to play? 24.03.2001 London, England, BBC Studios, Top of the Pops *Did the band do any other songs here? 25.03.2001 Manchester, England, Apollo Theater, LP Supporting Deftones Tour *Any other shows Mike and/or Chester came out on 'Head Up' by the Deftones? 14.05.2001 Tokyo, Japan, Zepp Tokyo, US To Europe Tour 15.05.2001 Osaka, Japan, IMP Hall, US To Europe Tour *Was 'Jane Says' done at any of the Australian shows? Were their setlists the exact same except without 'Jane Says'? Was it done in Nagoya, the other Japan show? 30.05.2001 Copenhagen, Denmark, Pumphuset *Setlist? Same as Rock am Ring / Rock im Park? 02.06.2001 Nürnberg, Germany, Eishalle, Rock im Park - Alternatent *First time the 'In Yourself' jam was done? Any info on the origins of it? Was it really just a random jam piece? Seems too organized to be just a on-the-spot made-up jam. 09.06.2001 East Troy, WI, Alpine Valley Amphitheatre, Ozzfest *The recording we have starts with Points. Did they really open with it? Was that the first time and/or only time ever? If so, what other times? 01.08.2001 Cleveland, OH, Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame *Full setlist. You can see other songs in the credits/interviews. 08.09.2001 Camden, NJ, Tweeter Center at the Waterfront, Reading USA 09.09.2001 Stockholm, Sweden, Solnahallen, European Headline Tour *Band signed on for Camden before it was canceled, correct? Stockholm was planned, why was it canceled? A tour poster exists. 28.09.2001 Chula Vista, CA, Coors Amphitheatre, Rock 105.3's 'When Bands Attack' *This date was discovered not until 2008. Any other dates LPLive is missing from this time period? Setlist for this show? *Family Values 2001 - Did Chester come out on any of the Staind songs? A few other collab's were reported from the first few shows, are they true? 18.11.2001 Vancouver, BC, Orpheum Theater, Countdown To Revolution Tour *No info at all about this short USA tour. Any of the setlists correct? Anything special? 04.03.2002 Los Angeles, CA, House of Blues Sunset Strip, Young Angels Concert *Setlist? How was it in relation to Projekt Revolution? Is all of our PR02 information correct? 23.02.2003 Milan, Italy, Alcatraz, LP Underground Tour *What is the deal with Chester that we have noted? 08.03.2003 London, England, ITV Studios, CD:UK/Headliners *Any other songs done here? 09.04.2003 State College, PA, Bryce Jordan Center, Projekt Revolution Tour 26.04.2003 Rapid City, SD, Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, Projekt Revolution Tour *Beginning of tour versus end of tour setlist. Do we have any info wrong? Is this really the way it was done? 27.06.2003 Las Vegas, NV, Hard Rock Hotel's The Joint, Boost Mobile Pro of Skateboarding *Setlist? Summer Sanitarium's setlist? 21.08.2003 London, England, Royal Lancaster Hotel, Kerrang Awards 2003 *Faint, A.06, and From The Inside, correct? 05.12.2003 New York City, NY, Hammerstein Ballroom, KROCK Clause Fest 07.12.2003 Pittsburgh, PA, A.J. 2. Why do you think so? He's said that in an interview before. Also it's not hard to tell that he's a cocky motherfucker and thinks his band is better than everyone else's. Very untrue. Dave is a very nice, down to earth guy. Also, he said in an interview after Live 8 that he hates all bands that use samples and play to click tracks live, and used LP as an example. I think that is a very stupid thing for him to say. I love the guy but that's pretty stupid. There has to be at least one thing in the entire Foo Fighters massive fucking 2 stage live show that is sampled.
  3. Well I don't repost everything here, that's for sure. A lot of stuff he posts is stuff I consider like confidential in the way that it doesn't need to be on every major LP fansite. I don't approve of how LPTimes, LPBR and a few other sites blatantly copy his entire posts and link to the blog. As you can see by a few posts back, it attracts a huge crowd of people posting comments and I'm sure he's not after that sort of thing to answer every comment sent in. I only post something on LPLive if I consider it vital information /very important. If you look at the latest news post by him, I already addressed the MK situation. Me: "Nice article. You have to be absolutely shitting me if they cut Papercut and Points from the DVD. Wow, what on earth. Just saw the tracklist over at LP.com. They keep PMA piano and HHH, but cut THE two best songs? ....wow." Pooch: "That can't be right. I mixed those two songs. Unless they are doing some video editing for length or something those two songs were in the set list. If it's true I agree with you - those songs are classics. Out of my hands though. Sometimes they make decisions that I don't understand. But then again - I ain't the millionaire."
  4. http://poochblog.evilentertainment.net/index.php Well worth the time spent by going back and reading every post from the beginning. The humor, seriousness, insight, and overall excitement you get is pretty sweet, at least to me.
  5. More from the new CD/DVD from the band. -Packed in recyclable eco-friendly materials, "Road To Revolution" features hidden bonus tracks and an eye-popping multi-page booklet that includes exclusive, never-before-seen live photos. Source: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...wsitemID=106832 -A live version of "Leave Out All The Rest" from Road To Revolution has been serviced to radio. Source: http://www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=934404 -Perhaps 'Wake 2.0' will be on the CD/DVD, included with 'Given Up'. Source: http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/7736137/Ro...es/Product.html -Pooch has to say about 'Papercut' and 'Points Of Authority' not appearing on the DVD (no idea about 'Somewhere I Belong' currently), "That can't be right. I mixed those two songs. Unless they are doing some video editing for length or something those two songs were in the set list." -"Over the course of the past few years, we’ve played more than two hundred Projekt Rev shows to hundreds of thousands of fans......" -Chester Bennington LPLive Info: PR02: 19 PR03: 15 (12 then 3 rescheduled, 2 not made up) PR04: 31 PR07: 29 PR08 E: 4 PR08 U: 24 ---- Total: 122 Projekt Revolution shows Over 200? Where did that number come from? -Good Charlotte will be releasing a greatest hits compilation CD which includes a track remixed by Joe Hahn called 'Young & Hopeless'. The CD is called "The Greatest Remixes" and will be out on November 25. Source: http://www.lptimes.com http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/articl...t_id=1003873130 -Linkin Park has been nominated for the American Music Awards in the category of "Alternative Rock Music - Favorite Artist!" Help them take home the award by heading over to amavote. com and casting your vote for Linkin Park! Voting ends November 7 at 11:59pm, and the awards show airs on Sunday, November 23 at 8/7c on ABC. Source: http://www.lptimes.com To vote: http://abc.go.com/amavote/index?pn=index Enjoy & discuss. My questions of the day to you guys - will the LPU 8.0 CD have the "missing" MK tracks? 'Wake 2.0', 'Somewhere I Belong', 'Papercut', 'Points Of Authority'? Will they just throw in 'Leave Out All The Rest' for good measure and a short instrumental? What do you think? Will the "exclusive" tracks on the MK DVD be the extra songs from the show or will they be b-sides/demos?
  6. Don't you mean "You can definitely tell Mark does not like this DVD."? I mean, LPLive is a community, yet you're speaking as if you're LPLive on your own... unless that's how it's come to be now? And so they cut a few tracks off the DVD, so what? It's not the end of the world. After getting the DVD, I will go on Facebook and see "Mark Terrell says 'omfg road to revolution kicks ass!!!'" and, Mark, we both know that will happen. I'm speaking on behalf of the staff, who I've talked to about this DVD, not you. It's pointless to say you're releasing a DVD of Milton Keynes and leave off four tracks. Good luck seeing my status on Facebook, one - you're not my friend on Facebook anymore, two - it's not going to happen. Get off your high pedestal and go back to Lloyd.
  7. LOL LPUnderground 8.0 01. Somewhere I Belong (Live from Milton Keynes) 02. Wake 2.0 (Live from Milton Keynes) 03. Instrumental (1.5 mins by Joe) 04. 8. The official Linkin Park website over at http://www.linkinpark.com/ has been designed for the new CD/DVD that is coming out. A post by the band follows. "We are excited to announce the title and release date of the new live DVD/CD! The winning title of the DVD/CD package, due out November 25th, is "ROAD TO REVOLUTION." Thanks to all the fans who submitted names and voted, and a special thanks to LPASIANOTTER who submitted the title. Below is the track-listing of the CD/DVD filmed and recorded live at Milton Keynes, UK. 9. LPLive has been loading just a tad slower than normal recently for some users, so I thought I would investigate. Have no fear, the problem is being assessed as we speak. I wouldn't even classify it as a "problem". The http://www.sotrix.net 'Complaining, Moaning, And Whining Department' has let me know that everything should be fine and not to worry. Aaaaand from ole' Sotrix himself: "My army of albino snakes are slithering through the sands of wires and motherboards, licking the air, hunting for the problem." All humor aside, things should be back to normal very shortly. I'd like to also take this time to also thank Sotrix personally for handling LPLive so well since the beginning. Sotrix also dealt with our ChesterSings and CureForTheItch projects back in the day, which makes me a member of his program since December 24, 2005. I think since that date, his server has had what....maybe two minor issues? That's an INCREDIBLE record. Almost three years of service and no major server problems at all. This guy is the reason for the site loading so damn quickly, the exclusive media downloading so quickly, and LPLive having essentially zero downtime ever. Perhaps I can buy you a beer at Projekt Revolution.........in 4 years. Maybe we can settle on a piece of pizza until then. Thanks for everything you do! I suggest that if you have a website and don't have Sotrix hosting it, you need to change ASAP. Seriously.
  10. The new DVD seems to be ready, with a title and release date set. Linkin Park Road To Revolution: Live At Milton Keynes November 24th (Internationally), November 25th (USA) Source: http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/7736137/Ro...es/Product.html Thoughts?

  12. Yep. LPLive aims to be as accurate as possible and since LP went on after midnight, it's the next day.

  15. Well, since Linkin Park is finished touring for this year (as it seems), t's time to work on the 2008 Tour Summary page! You can find the 2007 one (http://lplive.net/2007summary.php), as well as all the others, at the top of each individual year page. Here's where I take some suggestions from you guys. I can handle the audience recordings and the proshot recordings, no problem. Canceled shows are fine too. I can write a summary too, but if anyone feels the need to do one or contribute some information for it, then just simply post a reply. I'm not lazy, I'm just trying to get user input on the site, which is more of what we will be focusing on for LPLive Version 4.0. Thanks for all your help. I also just noticed that the 2007 touring bands might not be as complete as I thought. I have Dir En Grey for the Japanese shows, but did any of the other Asian shows have an opening band? Does that list look full to you? Also, if you see any other mistakes in any of the other touring summaries, please let us know. Enjoy your weekend! I'm actually seeing Three Days Grace tomorrow, so I hope you're having a blast as well.
  16. Here's some random tidbits of news for you coming straight to you on Friday, October 10th. -As you all know by now, LP canceled Las Vegas and the Asian Tour. You might also know that this leaves the crew without work for the last month of the touring cycle, which can be a burden on the families as the crew tries to find new work, etc at such a sudden moment. "As I've stated before, no workie, no money, so I was especially freaked out", says Pooch. Guess what? While the band decided to still give Music For Relief the profits from the shows, they also decided to pay the entire crew for the Las Vegas and Asian Tour. How awesome is that? Classy! -A few weeks ago when Pooch and Dylan returned to a studio in Dallas to work on a few "projects", it left us thinking "what in the world could they be doing?" Many of us thought about the LPU 8.0 CD, but now we learn that they were in there mixing audio for a 5.1 DVD - the Milton Keynes DVD. -Chester's injury? Apparently he was playing with his kid(s) and got hurt in the process. It seems that he slipped two discs in his back, so be thinking about him this next week as he recovers. You know it's bad when you have to be taken from your house in a stretcher..... -LPLive 4.0 is coming along nicely. I will have to say that I have two great people working on it with me - graveguard and Legend, and they have done wonders so far. We will be trying to integrate as much as possible into this next version so that you will be able to find whatever you'd like on the site. I won't ruin you with any surprises, but be ready for a very accurate, info-filled, always up to date, and excellent site. -Check out this sample of a HD Madison Square Garden DVD! http://vimeo.com/1885570. Awesome, huh?
  17. Yes, I got the exact same auto-generated response from these motherfuckers. I'm calling them tomorrow and raising HELL. H E L L . Yes. I'm pissed.
  18. Chester did Where'd You Go at both shows, and there's video of both. One is the Summer Sonic proshot thing and LPTV/FMM/LPUTV whatever it is, has the other one. Then there's the same source for It's Goin' Down. Noone will confirm the FM setlist for us....
  19. Greenwood Village setlist is still messed up. I think for Heinekin you should put Bleed It Out > Reading My Eyes > Bleed It Out and for East Troy put Bleed It Out > Sweet Child O Mine > Bleed It Out. Maybe not, it's up to you. Linkin Mira sends me a message: "hey you have a little error there http://www.lplive.net/shows/20080617.php source 5 is like 3 ... " No idea what that means.
  20. On behalf of the rest of the LPLive Staff, I'd like to wish one of our favorite and dearest staff members, nkramar, a very happy birthday today! If you are unfamiliar with nkramar, think of a few things: Yokohama 03. Osaka 06. Palladium 01. Taper of one of my favorite audience recordings ever - Camden 08. And how could we forget that little song we call "Plaster". Yep. Happy Birthday!
  21. Just view the page source and copy the links, no program needed. Very very simple.
  22. Good point. I still like Midnight in MK because it's a nice play on the album name, so I hope that it wins.
  23. All these names blow in my opinion. I put Midnight in Milton Keynes because having Revolution in the name is absolutely stupid. It's not a Revolutionary show. It's not the real Projekt Revolution.
  24. Everyone head over to www.linkinpark.com or your favorite spot for the Linkin Park Widget, nicely designed by our friends over at Sparkart, and check out the newest addition to the widget - The Projekt Revolution 2008 Wrap-Up Video. Go watch all the backstage footage from all the bands that Mark Fiore, the videographer of the band, has cleverly composed into an eleven minute and twenty-one second (11:21) video to send Linkin Park out with a bang, ending the Minutes To Midnight Touring Cycle as they prepare to head back into the studio and smack us in the face with a brand new album. See the huge pit that Atreyu starts on stage, see Rob hang out with Street Drum Corps, see a cool spot about Music For Relief, see Chris Cornell and Chester discuss 'Hunger Strike', 'Crawling', and being friends, and see what the hell Linkin Park is up to backstage these days. Even though the Projekt Revolution videos skip quite a few shows, this is one you won't want to miss. With all the cool bands and great crowds that came out this year, I personally think that this is the best Projekt Revolution that Linkin Park has had to offer yet, and I really hope that they continue it next year, or in 2010, whenever the new album is ready and they are set to kick some major ass on the road in the US again.
