  1. ok I've waited long enough. I just sent this email to them. I've had it with this garbage. ----------------------- "Seriously, Did Bandmerch oversell the Hybrid Theory EPs? I ordered mine on September 2nd - the day they went on sale. People that ordered on the 2nd, 3rd, and after that already have theirs. What is going on with my order? I've waited over a month, and it's still saying "backordered". This is the first email that I got: "Please rest assured that your order will be shipped as soon as the backordered product is returned to stock. We apologize if this information was not clear when you placed your order, and we regret any inconvenience caused. Although we make every attempt to have items in stock, occasionally we may list inventory as backordered, indicating that the item is temporarily out of stock. When possible, we will post expected ship dates. Backordered items are typically returned to stock within 2-3 weeks. The current estimated shipping date for your order is September 22, 2008." Current date was September 22nd? It still hasn't shipped. You apologize if the information wasn't clear when I ordered? When I ordered, everything was in stock, or else I wouldn't have ordered it. It makes no sense to say it was in stock, and then tell me it's backordered AFTER I order. Bandmerch obviously screwed up big time and sold more than they had, or this problem wouldn't be happening. Maybe there is something else going on, but this is what it's looking like. How is a Hybrid Theory EP temporarily out of stock? They were only made in ONE batch EVER, there's no making more of them, there's no ordering more. You can't make more. If you don't have it, then that's it because there's only a limited amount that were ever made. Wouldn't you ship them according to what date they were sold? I don't understand why people that ordered AFTER me got theirs in September, but I ordered the very first day they were online, and I don't have it yet. You can't run a professional business with tactics like this. I'm not trying to be crude, but this is getting ridiculous. If you oversold or something, man up and say that on the website. Don't leave your customers in the dark, guessing when their order will come, if it ever will. If you call yourselves professional, I find it very hard to believe since this is only one case out of many that I have heard. I was even hesitant to order from Bandmerch in the first place, but when I saw that everything seemed to be alright with this sale, I placed my order. What do you know, a month and 4 days later, still no word on it. Thanks for the help, Mark"
  2. Top three SBDs? Mine: 1. Atlanta 07 2. Hannover 08 3. Auburn 07 {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif
  3. Hey guys. I'm just as bummed as you are.....I was really looking forward to the DSPs and last few shows of this cycle. Unfortunately, things like this happen, but hopefully the band doesn't take too long to crank out that new album. Anyway: Both Mike and Valerie (winner of the Remix2Win contest) called in to X107.5 (X-treme Radio) of Las Vegas today. Shinoda gave us an insight on what the deal was with the cancellation(s). I'm glad Mike did this, and I guessed that he would do it being the type of good person he is. Thanks Mike for calling in and clearing things up. Mike said Chester was at his house, not doing anything that strenuous, and his back gave out. He was in so much pain that he couldn't even stand up. Then, they carried him by stretcher to the hospital, where the doctors finally said that he can't play live for a little while. Mike said the band was expecting to be done with the touring cycle, with the Las Vegas show and the Music For Relief Asian Benefit Tour, but unfortunately they had to be canceled. Valerie asked when the band would make it up, and Mike said that they're trying to figure out a reschedule as soon as possible. He wants to make up the Las Vegas show for sure, but said the China, Taiwan, and other shows were a bit more complicated. Hopefully they stick with their word and make the shows up sometime soon. Possibly an escape from the studio-type tour that we saw with Japan 2006? Maybe in a few months they can make it all up. Valerie, I'm sorry for this happening...I know it sucks, and I'm sorry for all of you Asian fans, especially the hardcore as hell Taiwanese fans. Download the full interview here: (Courtesy of my good friend Jasparina from the outstanding LP fansite http://www.lptimes.com) http://lptimes.com/news2008/oct/Mike_XtremeRadio.html Valerie's (another friend of mine) remix can be found here: http://www.lpconcerts.com/remix/getMix.vmu?mix_id=2103
  4. http://xtremeradio.com/pages/2952406.php? this, Valerie? I don't see it here? Chester getting hurt: -Recluse spider bite in 2001 in Boston -Hiatal hernia in 2003 (caused 1 show of PR03 to be canceled - Evansville) -Extreme laryngitis (however it's spelled) and then severe back problems in April 2003 (14 shows canceled from April to June - an entire European tour) -Broken arm on 2003 European run (TWO casts on in the FTI video) -Broken arm on 2007 Australian run from jumping off the top of the stage -Hits himself in the face with a tennis racket on the Asian 07 run, requiring stitches -Throat infection on MWT 04 run (1 canceled show, 1 abbreviated setlist show) -Gets sick on the US Winter 08 run (2 canceled shows, 5 abbreviated setlist shows) -Fucks up back in October 08 - Las Vegas and entire Asian tour is canceled (6 shows)
  5. How should we improve the actual year and show pages?
  6. I still Believe that the 3 piano songs of the Edgefest wasnt done just to be special i believe that they had some technical problems with guitars or something else they were forced to begin. btw BTH piano version was awful. Everyone knows that Edgefest had technical problems... NO! BTH piano is the best piano version of all LP piano versions. (I don't like piano versions, but BTH is great) Not technical problems, the rest of the band wasn't there! Just Mike, Chester and Phoenix were there. When PMA piano was almost done, the other 3 got there.
  7. I agree with you. Auburn 2007 is an amazing show. Why not release that on DVD? But yes, I saw Set X from PR08 twice and I guarantee it's better than MK. The MK setlist was very bad in my opinion. Hopefully the audio is very good and has some good camera angles and backstage footage.
  8. As you might have already noticed, the style of the forums has changed. Why the sudden change, you ask? We're moving forward towards LPLvie version 4.0, and this layout, while not giving away too much, is similar to the design in a way, and we are tweaking it to our preference. As per some of your requests, I'll see about getting the info on the posts moved back on the left side. More updates soon! What do you think so far?
  9. It is a PR08 show Not really.
  10. Noone is really sure, but it's a considerable amount...should be about $120 or so?
  11. As you can see, I just implemented the 3.0 banners that we had done into the current layout. Now most 3.0 banners should be up. If you see a few missing, then that's because FisicoUK refuses to give me a site/forum backup (as well as every penny of the LPLive donations that were made) so that I can obtain them. I'm sorry - that's the best I can do. If any of you want to do any more banners, I'd be glad to throw them up. I'll be carrying every single one that's up right now into 4.0 with us, so don't worry about them being phased out. All of your names will go on the Contributors page in a special section too. New banners are always a delight and offer something new to the eye when you visit the site. Also, yes, I can confirm work for 4.0 has begun as of today (Oct 7). Legend (Seth) and I have held a long discussion over what we are aiming for in this new version, and I think we are set. For those of you who don't know Seth, he's a very talented coder, so he will be joining me (as well as the few we already have for 4.0). Don't worry if I haven't contacted the select few of you yet - I'm working on it. Anyway, previously, I was waiting to get a forum backup from 3.0 from Fisico since I had quite a few ideas in the staff section there, but since it seems all that is gone, I'm no longer waiting on it! We hope to impress you with this new version and I will say that we do have a lot in store for you! Stay tuned. If you're wondering "when"....December maybe? January? More info on that soon. Music For Relief Asian Benefit Tour preview coming tomorrow. I hope Chester gets better, because I know everyone doesn't want a 15 song abbreviated setlist in Shanghai, heh. For those of you in Vegas, I just found this. Verizon Wireless has issued a statement saying, "Verizon Wireless will be in contact with the university and Valerie as soon as more information is available about the band's health and schedule." Makeup date?
  12. I still Believe that the 3 piano songs of the Edgefest wasnt done just to be special i believe that they had some technical problems with guitars or something else they were forced to begin. btw BTH piano version was awful. Oh, we know exactly why it was done, lol. The show page: - The band was still stuck on the runaway at the airport as of 8:00pm, trying to clear customs. They weighed several options, which included taking a helicopter to the show. They arrived at seperate times to the show. At the Meet and Greet later on, Phoenix abruptly said to a fan that "Mike has just arrived". It is possible that the band wanted to get Mike and Chester to the show first, so they could at least start the show, and bring the rest of the band later, but it is unsure of what actually ended up happening.
  13. I sure hope you aren't even thinking about referring to my website, my staff, or me with that tone.
  14. Here's a thread for some random live facts about Linkin Park. Post any if you know them. -The intro to the Summer Sanitarium 2003 tour sampled 'Dead Skin Mask' by Slayer. -The sample Joe plays at Rock im Park's night show of the numbers and letters came from Sid from Slipknot's intro to 'The Heretic Anthem'.
  15. Anyone that went to ANY fucking 2007 show heard Pushing Me Away (Piano Version). They wore that shit out, it was done at every major show.
  16. -Made the Las Vegas 08 (UNLV) show the color red (canceled). -Fixed Maryland Heights 08 show info. - 31.08.2003 Weeze, Germany, Weeze Airport, Terremoto Festival, European Tour -> 31.08.2003 Weeze, Germany, Flughafen Niederrhein, Terremoto Festival, European Tour -Fixed Portland 01 (Chester section) show info. -Edited Montpellier 2001 (the show just released on the site) source notes. -Edited Hunger Strike Camden notes. -Edited Hunger Strike Irvine notes. -Edited Mountain View 2007 notes. -Edited Bamboozle 2007 show notes - added a lot of mistakes. -Edited Cleveland 2004 show notes. -06.08.2001 Portland, ME, Cumberland Country Civic, OFF-FEST -> Cumberland County Civic Center. -Added Madrid 08 show notes and encore break. [s:1fhc3u16]SOURCES STILL NEED UPDATING.[/s:1fhc3u16]
  17. I agree. I like Pooch's work a lot, he is excellent. However, you can easily tell that the 07 and 08 shows are mixed differently. Once the Euro 08 shows started in the Winter, the audio sound changed somehow. Maybe they changed gear? I'm not sure. But listen to a show like Auburn 2007. That is EPIC. One of my favorite LP shows ever. Compare Points Of Authority's intro at that show to any other DSP/live CD from LP. Especially 2008. The low sounding 2008 shows sound much worse. I still love them, but I think something is odd on the mixing. Live In Texas's audio is GODLY. I wonder how they got it to sound that well. Imagine like you said if the DSPs sound that way - wow. But yes, the live sound from Pooch is 110% perfect...I've never heard a band live that sounds as good as LP...it's absolutely perfect...but the DSPs are a little weird. Not sure what's going on. Auburn started off great, then they started going to the lower sounding mixes. I know exactly what you're talking about because last week I even compared Points from Auburn to other shows, etc.
  18. Say what you want but if you look at the entire cycle from an unbiased point of view, this show was one of the worst ones. Madison Square Garden is incredibly better than this show.
  19. From Mike over at his blog at http://www.mikeshinoda.com "Hey everyone. I'm happy to announce that we are putting together a new live CD/DVD for you guys! We recorded the show at Milton Keynes (Projekt Rev, UK), and we will be releasing it in a DVD/CD combo pack as soon as we can get it done. However, we're having trouble naming the album...so we want you to name it! Please help out by spreading the word. We want as many fans as possible to go to THIS THREAD on the linkinpark.com message boards, and pitch in on the discussion. After we get some titles we like, we'll put them up for everyone to vote on. Please help us name the new live CD/DVD! Name it here: (You must be 18 or older to name it). http://forums.linkinpark.com/showthread.ph...8488#post448488 -mike and LP"
  20. No excuse for LP to not make Chester sit in a chair on stage and do an all acoustic setlist. Possibly throw in a few regular versions like Shadow and have Kurt do Chester's part. BTH piano, PMA piano, HHH piano, WID acoustic, SOTD, PMA acoustic, ITE acoustic, Crawling acoustic, My December piano, and figure out the acoustic versions to a good number of other songs. Cover a song. Show Me full piano version. Figure something out. In Between. Little Things can be done. Grab a guest friend from another band that's chilling in LA and have them come help. Better reason to switch things up. Phoenix said it's possible to do it now with all their slow songs that have the capability to be done acoustically. Do it {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif
  21. Maryland Heights is somehow fucked up. I thought Chris came out on Crawling and Chester wasn't on Hunger Strike, but maybe that was another show? Chris isn't on Crawling. I'm confused.
  22. This is crazy! I wonder if they will make this show up after Asia, or even if LP will perform all the Asian shows. Poor LP, lol. Chester gets sick on the US winter tour, Brad gets sick on the European summer tour, Chester gets his back hurt for the last run of shows of MTM. Wow. Fly the winner to Asia? lolol.
  23. Guess what? Time for the next Linkin Park show, which means time for the next pre-show writeup! Our favorite band will be playing at the Hard Rock Hotel's Joint in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 6th. This is a one-off show for the band, who wrapped up their last major tour in support of Minutes To Midnight, Projekt Revolution 2008, last month in Woodlands, Texas. This concert is for the winner of the LPConcerts.com (the site and it's parent, Verizon, that refuse to acknowledge LPLive.net) Remix Contest - Valerie from the University of Las Vegas. Linkin Park agreed to fly out to The Joint @ The Hard Rock Hotel in the city and play the show for the University's students only. Setlist-wise, what can we expect for this one? Set X (One Step Closer), Y (What I've Done), or Z (No More Sorrow) from Projekt Revolution? Pooch hinted that it would be a "full show", but I wouldn't be surprised if they just stuck with about 15 songs. Set Y ended the tour last month, so maybe they will play Set Z. Noone is really sure, but stick around because Valerie, the winner, actually will be texting LPLive the setlist as soon as the show as over! The band will beginning its last tour of any shape or form for Minutes To Midnight, The Music For Relief Asian Benefit Tour, in just a few days, kicking off a five show run in Shanghai, China on October 12th. Stay tuned, a tour preview will be coming shortly. For those of you who want something to "spice it up a little bit", do you remember what was supposedly the "earliest" interview video of the band? Yeah, the Metal Machine video from New York City in 2000, right? Yep, but it seems this might be the second earliest interview out there - from just a little later on that year. LPU'er "highlandpark" threw the links to this interview up the other day, so I thought I'd share it with all the LPLive'ers out there. It's supposedly from November 25th, 2000, which would make it from this tour date: "25.11.2000 Sioux City, IA". Anyway, Mike and Chester are in an elevator doing the interview, so check it out. How incredibly badass is Mike's hair!? Part One: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae5TKUWqre8 Part Two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Gg3ETFPOSI
  24. because they didnt played RME That and because they didn't even play that well IMO. Fuck Milton Keynes. Everyone that went to that show acts like it's the best thing to grace the Earth when in reality it's just like every other LP show. It wasn't cool when Jay-Z came out because it wasn't a surprise like MSG was. Where's the fun in that? AMEN. Milton Keynes is the worst show LP has done in many many years. That was terrible. No surprise, setlist sucked, crowd sucked, LP was bad. Edgefest is GODLY. How can HHH MK even compare to HHH Edgefest? Edgefest was damn epic.
