But when was the last time that they'd had shows this close together where they have used two different sets of setlists? (lol) Whatever they play in Brazil, they'll play in Europe, in my opinion. Irvine and Mountain View 2011 before Europe the summer were a part of the same sets they used in Europe.

There isn't really time to rehearse for Europe after this. It's similar to the gap between Tucson and Lisboa, but a little longer. I would think they'd have to pack everything up to ship to Europe by now (or last week) and to South America by a week or two ago too. Surely they don't have THAT much shit that they could send multiple rigs to Europe, a rig to South America, and have a rig in LA of gear for the two USA shows too plus one more for Third Encore. Or maybe they do, who knows. I'd assume that they'd rehearse now for South America + Europe.

I think you are right because I do know that they went BACK into the studio after the ALTNC recording sessions and they worked on more music. The easy source for that is all of the studio pictures Aoki posted with Mike and Chester well after ALTNC had come out.

Well it was a song just between Kutmasta Kurt, Motion Man and Mike. They had an album coming out at that time, so it's a good assumption that it was recorded for that album but didn't make the cut. However, we don't know that for a fact like you said. The only way we could know that is if we asked one of those three people.

This is really disappointing that this type of stuff can't be used for the LPU. Chideo raises good money for charity, but LPU does as well. I'll even challenge that and say the LPU gives more money to MFR than Chideo does through their donations. There have been LPU-only shows for MFR, the LPU constantly donates a significant amount of money at each show to MFR, etc. I don't understand why the fanclub can't get some exclusive videos like this. Proshot videos used to exist on the LPU and now it's almost impossible to get any sort of exclusive video, whether it's live or not. They could really take advantage of the live stuff to post since they have SO much of it in their vault. Even as a big fan of the band I am not going to donate to Chideo so that they can turn around and give that to MFR, when I am already donating to MFR in other ways (including on tour). The Linkin Park fans are INCREDIBLY supportive of MFR in my opinion, especially the LPU fans. Why is this type of stuff happening and penalizing the fanclub? Chideo is very frustrating to me when I think about how much cool content the LPU could have that Chideo is taking away from them. How does Linkin Park as a band go from not having any time on tour to record videos for the LPU to a complete 180 and having time to record stuff at almost EVERY show for the first part of Carnivores for Chideo? The timing also surprises me - the LPUTV episodes from 2012-2013 would come months (one month to six months) AFTER a show/tour but Chideo stuff can be uploaded ASAP by the band? What in the world? Why is the actual band not interested in doing stuff for the fanclub?

Wow. Tons of LPU clips used everywhere - definitely would make casual fans say WTF is all of this? haha. Love that part of it. MTV did a good job with this - it came out a lot better than I thought it would have. Looks like they have some good old footage from 1999-2000 era live that we don't have/know of and then there's the THP studio stuff we're all dying for. I wonder how they got the Marc Ostrick stuff from the rehearsals with Slip and Esaul in 1999.

Wow Plush. I think they did a few others too...Robert posted on Twitter that they were rehearsing a few different songs to play that were new to the set. I messed up on this one with the setlist...messaged our STP crew friend a little too late on this one I think. I'll try to get today's setlist and Bham's setlist quickly. Maybe we can get this one from somewhere.

I was talking about this with Nick D the other day and we thought 2 shows a tour would be appropriate too. I do get tired of the same shows constantly...I really enjoyed the past tour where they changed up the sets a lot. I'll do Atlanta or whatever they hit here (maybe Nashville) and if they do MSG I will have to see that.

As much as you might like LP, they will forever be opening for Metallica if they are ever billed on the same day of a festival. They've done it quite a few times since 2003, haha. This is interesting. Metallica, LP and Deftones. Dream come true for a festival. And the USA crowds will be dead and not give a shit as usual (phones in the air all the time, etc). This makes it even worse that it's in Vegas because the crowds there are even more lackluster than usual. Put this in Europe or South America and the place would explode.

If you've seen the trailer for Lisa Ling's "This Is Life" series on CNN, you might have recognized a familiar sound - music that has the Linkin Park / Mike Shinoda vibe. Check it out: The caption reads, "Here's a look at the new CNN Original Series This is Life with Lisa Ling. Premieres Sunday Sep. 28th at 10ET/PT." The name of the song/demo is unknown and we currently do not know if it's a newer song or older song by Mike (or if any other members are included). It seems to just be one song (the theme song) as a tweet from September 16th from him reads, "I've seen promos for @lisaling's new show twice today w/ the volume down. Too bad, because I hear the theme song is awesome...#ThisIsLife" Mike most recently gave Lisa Ling a shoutout in Holmdel, NJ when he did the Ice Bucket Challenge and challenged her, among others, afterward. On Twitter, Mike confirmed that the music in the trailer indeed is his. What do you think?

Jonas found out the Fargo show didn't happen w/ POD. LP had an off day that day and the next day in Toronto, ON before the show there on the 28th. Their last show on the POD tour was the 25th. Here's where we are at due to what Skipees and I found today: Canceled shows that need to be added: 2000.09.20 Norfolk, VA, NorVa Theatre (yes V is capitalized) [LP later canceled & played NYC) 2000.10.01 Chicago, IL, House Of Blues [LP later canceled & played ATL; confirmed by House Of Blues announcement] 2000.11.11 Norfolk, VA, The Boathouse [LP later canceled & played Westminster) This I am 99% sure needs to be added: 2000.09.23 Providence, RI, Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel This was a Kottonmouth Kings show. The Norfolk and Chicago radio shows were just before and just after this, so I bet this fell under the exact same situation. Canceled later on for a radio show (KEDG's That Damn Show in Arizona). And KEDG needs to be changed to KEDJ based on the site Skipees found for that show. Not sure what that third Norfolk show could be. Looked at all the other radio shows in 2000 and didn't have any luck. Surely it has to be something in 2000 though....? Any thoughts?
