  1. 1. Oberhausen was used as a test show with the 4K cameras for Berlin, and it was changed from B to A for that purpose. 2. A very reliable source with the band has confirmed to us that Berlin will be Set A and was decided in advance.
  2. Thanks for the info. Sucks about MFR. Here are some good videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/Unique840223/featured
  3. I think a central thread is a good idea for sources now because we are having a hard time obtaining some sources. As always, download threads, etc go in the audio/video media section in the other part of the forum. First of all, has anyone had any luck with a few of these Carnivores recordings? I don't know if anyone has messaged these people besides me, but I haven't gotten any responses at all. Dallas: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20140906 Irvine: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20140911 Feel free to comment with any recordings you find throughout the tour and we can work on obtaining them, sharing them (trading for them if necessary), etc. For Europe, so far we have these: Zurich: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20141103 Amsterdam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEbHC2BgqjA (adding to show page now) Oberhausen: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20141109 I haven't messaged any of these tapers yet (besides Garo, we all know he's a member here ).
  4. On November 19th, Linkin Park will perform at O2 World in Berlin, Germany, a city they have performed at on each album touring cycle. At the new Linkin Park popup store grand opening in Berlin, Mike confirmed to a fan that the show is being filmed for a DVD release and will be broadcasted in partnership with Samsung, who is also sponsoring the popup store. The event will be broadcasted via satellite to Samsung 2014 UHD televisions and be picked up with the built-in dvbs2 receiver. "First live concert in the world to be broadcast at Astra 19.2 degrees East in Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixel) in HEVC standard, at 50 fps and a colour depth of 10 bit" A map of the region covered by the satellite can be viewed here. If you live in Europe and have any questions about the broadcast, please leave a comment so that we can assist you. We are also looking for people to record this show due its extremely limited broadcast. LPLive will host its own webcast of this show just after the tour ends for ALL Linkin Park fans if we are able to get a recording of this concert. Additionally, we have learned that Set A has been planned in advance for this show. Planning setlists in advance for a tour is not anything new...we spotted a sheet backstage at the Camden 2012 Summit that listed Set A, B, or C for every date on the tour before it kicked off, so it's at least been done by Linkin Park for several years. This marks the second Berlin show in a row to get a release, as the intimate 2012 show at Admiralspalast was released with Living Things+ after being shown in theaters. Who will be in attendance at this special show? What do you think the release format will be for the DVD? The Hunting Party+, or perhaps a special DVD release like Road To Revolution? EDIT: The Oberhausen show was swapped to Set A so that the cameras could be tested for the Berlin show. It will be filmed in 4K resolution. EDIT 2: A promo video has surfaced.
  5. 2010 is right, I actually confused the 2009 and 2010 shows by DBS...forgot they played Hamburg TWICE....lucky Germans.... Yeah no CD until the thing launches, I should have clarified that. I meant LPU XIV as in the merch for it.
  6. Their new album is soooo good.
  7. Nothing yet, that's always announced way closer to time. I hope they don't do what they did in 2012 and "delay" it a few days...then cut the damn first song, wtf.
  8. The lineup is STACKED. LP, Incubus, Rise Against, SOAD. My god.
  9. KROQ has just announced that Linkin Park will play night one of KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2014 set to take place at The Forum in Inglewood, CA on December 13, 2014. This is the 25th year of the Almost Acoustic Christmas show. Also joining them on the lineup will be Bush, Fall Out Boy, Incubus, New Politics, Rise Against, Royal Blood, System Of A Down and Walk The Moon. Night two will be Alt-J, Imagine Dragons, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Smashing Pumpkins, Tears For Fears, Vance Joy, U2 and Weezer. Tickets go on sale on November 14. What a hell of a lineup! Ticket Prices (not including fees): GA Floor: $95.00 Floor Risers: $150.00 Sec 100 Lower Bowl: $150.00 Sec 100 Upper: $95.00 Sec 200 Upper: $75.00 This will be the band's seventh show at KROQ AAC, the last coming in December 2012. They also performed the show in 2000, 2001 (both nights), 2003, 2007, and 2012. Who will be attending? EDIT: System Of A Down confirms that they will be headlining. This will be Linkin Park's first time not headlining the show since 2001, ending their streak of three headlining spots in a row at the event.
  10. 2015 setlist Would you jam to this? Mashup Intro #3 Wastelands Keys to the kingdom A place for my head One step closer Blackout short Papercut full Rebellion Lying from you Castle of glass Ballad medley Robot boy short Numb Waiting for the end Final masquerade Burn it down reggae version Mike solo medley Somewhere I belong What I've done A line in the sand --------------------- Until it's gone (NMS Europe intro) Guilty all the same In the end Bleed it out Faint
  11. Thanks for the heads up, I'll fix it. Austin joined them for Faint too. This was LP show #55 in Germany. Show 60 will be in Berlin, what a coincidence that they're filming that show.
  12. Set A, Mike thanked the fans for the MTV EMA award win before BIO. Chester had the crowd sing happy bday to his daughter. New Divide bridge samples messed up.
  13. Chester let the crowd sing a part of Final Masquerade.
  14. 17,000 people. If they continue this trend of B, A, B, A, etc then Berlin will unfortunately get Set A. However, the band has changed setlists to coincide with proshot shows in the past (actually it's pretty common for them), so who knows. They seem really comfortable with Set B right now, playing it first in Brazil and in Europe at Zurich so Set B in Berlin actually wouldn't surprise me at all. It all comes down to what they feel the most comfortable with.
  15. Show number six of the sixteen show European Tour for Linkin Park takes the band to Hamburg's O2 World on November 10th! This show comes in the middle of the largest stretch of German shows on this leg...for in a row that started on the 9th in Oberhausen and continues with Hamburg, Leipzig, and München. It's hard to believe that the tour began less than a week ago and some fans have already seen three or four shows on the tour! Hamburg has a rich history of Linkin Park shows, having hosted the band six times before today, with one canceled show in 2001. The band's first show ever in Germany was on January 10th, 2001 (their second actual show ever on the continent) when they headlined Grünspan to promote Hybrid Theory in Paris, Hamburg, and London. An interesting fact about this show is that it was the longest known "performance" of Cure For The Itch until the Download Festival show in June 2014. An incredibly old proshot video of Forgotten exists from that show. And lastly, Mike incorrectly stated at the Hamburg 2011 show on June 21st that the band had their first German show ten years prior on June 21, 2001. It's likely that a reporter gave him the wrong information before the show, but this show in January 2001 was their actual first German show. Next, the band performed four other shows in Germany in March 2001 (opening for the Deftones) before they returned to Hamburg, but at that show, reviews stated that the band performed to a "homecoming"-type crowd as the Germans had already caught on to the band and showed up in big numbers to see them across the country. Nice! Hamburg was the unfortunate city to have a show schedule on September 11, 2001, which had to be canceled. That show was going to be the real tour kickoff show as Stockholm and Frederiksberg were canceled well before the tour began for unknown reasons. Fortunately, the day after Hamburg was a show in Berlin and is still one of the best audience recordings to this day. The Morning After (Chester's solo song) was performed in the encore and the crowd was rowdy as hell - definitely give this show a listen today if you have the time. Step Up also received its live debut at that show. Still with us? The official makeup show for that canceled Sept 11 show was the second show of Linkin Park's LP Underground Tour in February 2003, when they performed at Docks in Hamburg. A very interesting fact about that venue (and the city of Hamburg) is that it's the ONLY venue in the world in which Linkin Park (2003), Fort Minor (2005), and Dead By Sunrise (2010) all performed at. After warmup shows to kick off the Minutes To Midnight World Tour, Linkin Park played a PACKED arena show at O2 World (then Color Line Arena) in Hamburg in May 2007, where 30 Seconds To Mars opened. With many other cities in Germany getting live shows throughout 2007 and 2008, Hamburg's next show came in 2010 for A Thousand Suns at the same arena. The 4th LPU Summit came in Hamburg at the same venue too, in June 2011, where the Rolling In The Deep Adele cover was performed acoustically for fans. This will be the first show in Hamburg since 2011, but it will be their seventh show in the city and fourth show at O2 World. Setlist A is expected at this show since B was at the last show in Oberhausen. And since everyone seems to like A Place For My Head, a video of it at the Amsterdam Summit has surfaced: The same day that this show happens, the Linkin Park popup store (sponsored by Samsung) in Berlin will be in full swing! Be sure to stop by, check out Mike and Joe's Berlin Wall paintings, and pick up a copy of LPU XIV. The CD is not being released until LPU XIV goes live, but you can get the rest of the merch at the store. Mike and Joe were both at the store on the 9th when it opened and Mike mentioned that the Berlin show on November 19th would be webcasted online (in partnership with Samsung) and then filmed for an eventual DVD release. This is the second show in Berlin to feature a webcast and release, after the 2012 show at Admiralspalast. This popup store will also feature a new LP skateboard deck with The Hunting Party artwork by James Jean as well as more exclusive Linkin Park merch. After the Hamburg show, Linkin Park has three shows in a row with Leipzig, München, and Wien. The band tends to avoid scheduling three shows in a row, especially in the winter, so we hope Chester remains healthy and doesn't get sick! You can find the rest of the 2014 tour dates here.
  16. Both it looks like. Stream and DVD release I bet. Samsung sponsored the popup store so this makes sense.
  17. FYI Burn It Down Reggae Version was played in 2013 once, so this is the second performance of it. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2013/20130801
  18. I bet they play Rock In Rio Brazil and headline Chile and Argentina.
  19. They have a picture of the setlist for tonight and APFMH is not on it. But wow I can't believe they played it at the Summit. Very cool. Can't wait for a video.
  20. Wow this is really interesting considering I thought they were going to be permanently banned from the country, since the 2011 stadium shows were canceled.
  21. Am I the only person that won't be there? lol. Seems like everyone made the trip for this one. Paging nkramar....why are we not in Amsterdam?
  22. I never knew the band impacted people so much that they'd primarily use it as a way to learn another language. Ha, wow. December 2004 with Jigga What/Faint rolling....wow. Can't believe you remember that.
  23. Set B. Updated the show page. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20141106 Setlist picture: https://twitter.com/S_Lippelt/status/530450695703781377/photo/1
