Also Brad skipped a LENGTHY soundcheck in Sunrise in 2011. This was almost a two hour one haha like legit show length but it was a ton of the ATS songs. They played his live tracks they had recorded over the PA and it was interesting. But yeah I totally forgot about the 2012 Japan TV shows.

Yes the TV broadcast is usually recorded. Don't worry about that. And ha. Welcome to Carnivores Tour. That's how I felt the entire time at all 9 shows I saw. Rush the show as quickly as possible and have zero crowd interaction. They almost never spoke on that tour and it'll continue as long as they play this "full show experience" setlist. With hardly any breaks, they don't take the time to talk.

The guitar sounds really odd. You can tell by OSC and Papercut guitar parts that it isn't Brad. He plays them uniquely. That's gotta be his tech Ben. They haven't shown Brad once - he isn't there in my opinion.

Seriously has anyone seen Brad? I don't see him at all on stage.

Between the two sites I think everything has been shared that we can get our hands on. It's no issue here sharing the Hollywood Bowl show. Share away. I changed my mind about it when I saw it was a one time broadcast only plus how stupid the VyRT team was being about the whole thing.

UIG because I think the lyrics are terribly repetitive. The song wasn't even intended for THP. Final Masq because I saw it 9x on tour and am tired of it..... It doesn't have a lasting effect for a song like WFTE has, for example.

Drop both Papercut and Points and I might skip the tour, no joke, lol. Shit explodes live and With You on Carnivores was filthy. The biggest thumbs down of the setlist right now is that Papercut is not being played in full. Drop Burn It Down, Numb, all the short shit in the encore, etc before you drop jams. Could not disagree MORE with saying POA, Papercut and With You are overplayed.

I do already think it's way better than War, Until It's Gone and Final Masquerade. But yes you are right about initial reactions. I never liked Burn It Down from the start and I still dislike it a lot now, ha. This is a badass Linkin Park song either way. Chester screaming.... A+. The next thing I want to bring up is the branding of the artists for Mall. Why say music by Chester, Mike, Dave, Joe and Alex Puro? You could easily say Linkin Park and Alex Puro. Brad isn't involved in every Linkin Park song and Rob isn't either. Look at Living Things, or just look at Session and Cure For The Itch. Chester doesn't even consider Session a real Linkin Park song, ha. This is WAY more of a Linkin Park song than those.

It has that Nine Inch Nails vibe to it. Chester is exploding. Huge fan of this, wow. Might be better than 90%+ of The Hunting Party. Whatever musical direction this is....shit, go that direction haha. I'm surprised they aren't taking advantage of this new music to release an EP online (iTunes, etc) and a physical CD + release a single from it to promote it more.

Oh yeah Brad is definitely talking about taking his shirt off in Tampa, haha. Wow, Tampa was an incredible show. That's 3 shows I've seen from them there (2008, 2011 and 2014) that have been completely badass. I wish they had played Florida on Honda Civic Tour. I know it sounds biased but Florida is one of the areas in the USA you don't need to skip while on tour. The Miami market and Tampa market always bring great crowds. LP even outsold the most recent Muse tour there by a LOT (2011 vs 2013). I'm from Georgia and I can say, sure, skip Georgia, no problem, but if you tour the United States, don't skip Florida. It's up there with the "necessary" areas to hit like New York, Boston area, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, etc. The biggest flaw for Honda Civic Tour to me was that they missed Florida completely and instead, they played a 12,000 seat amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA (which I'm not sure if they even sold out or not). Take it to West Palm Beach instead and that's 21,000+ people and they SOLD OUT the Carnivores stop there. FYI Atlanta is probably fucked on getting stops on future tours because there essentially is no rock radio station there anymore. I agree completely. Best LPTV I've seen in 2014 and it covers a lot of shows with a lot of cool backstage stuff. Daron is blowing the fuck up on stage, haha. So did the Houston Summit get to play the instruments on stage?

So basically Hamburg is sold out too in the normal sense but they just released those obstructed view seats/seats behind or next to the stage that they usually don't open up, because the show is selling so well. Really impressive LP plays so many shows there and does so well. I predict they'll definitely continue to play a shit ton of German shows for the rest of their career due to this.

I wouldn't say way too early. If the show is the 18th, I post the 16th. He was probably getting it done on the evening of the 15th so he didn't have to do it the evening of the 16th. That's fine with me. It's a webcasted show so it'll have more discussion than usual...not a big deal to me. It's also a really good post.
