  1. I added up the performances from 2001. I am surprised how many people on Facebook and Twitter think that 324 is accurate. Wow. Linkin Park did NOT tour for 15 weeks (minimum) in 2001 and that's 105 days. 260 days are left, which is far from 324. Anyway, adding it up: HT European Promo Tour: 3 full shows 1 TV appearance 1 radio appearance 1 TV appearance (after that) Total (of both): 5 live performances Street Soldiers Tour: 20 full shows 1 full festival show 1 soundcheck party set Total: 22 live performances Deftones European Tour: 19 full shows 1 TV appearance Total: 20 live performances US-to-Europe Tour: 21 total shows (split amongst headlining and festival/radio shows) Ozzfest: 45 total shows in that period (split amongst Ozzfest, OFFEST, radio shows, and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame) *1 canceled show at a festival* HT Euro Headlining Tour: 8 full shows 1 radio show 1 TV concert *3 canceled shows* 1 radio show (after that) Total (of both, excluding canceled shows): 11 live performances Family Values Tour: 27 shows (tour was rescheduled a bunch so we list those shows too) Total: 27 live performances Countdown To Revolution Tour 9 shows 4 radio shows Total: 13 live performances ----------------------------------------------------------- 2001 totals: TOTAL PLAYED SHOWS: 164
  2. Linkin Park was originally the first band in all posts/images, now they are the third, perhaps indicating that they'll headline day 3?
  3. Dang. Not bad. I hope it was recorded.
  4. Crowd is mixed so high in this. Not a big fan of the mix. Must be an Ethan mix since the Carson 2012 live songs suffer from the same problem. To each his own but I prefer Pooch's mixes of the live stuff. Plot twist would be if Pooch mixed this, lol
  5. If they play Japan they'll definitely have an opening band there. Sometimes they take American bands and sometimes they get local Japanese openers. Since this is a rock tour I bet they pick up a small to medium sized band for Japan. An often looked over band is Yellowcard, who opened for LP in Japan in 2007. I was surprised to not see any LP band member social media posts about that....I was pretty pleased at the fact Yellowcard opened for them. Maybe they'll take someone like A Day To Remember with them. I think due to the logistical problems of having to fly to almost every Asian show outside of Japan, it's hard to get the same band for the entire run to open up for you unless you pay them huge money and I can't even think of an example where that's happened in rock music. Not NIN, not Foo, not Metallica, not LP.
  6. That Muse show is incredible, holy shit. I LOVE that. I just wish they kept Map on the release, WTF who cuts Map of the Problematique?!?!!?! You have to be on huge mind altering drugs to do that!
  7. That Club Tattoo 2006 recording is really funny. Jonas and I listened to it on the train to Graz from Frankfurt in 2009...quite comical stuff.
  8. I'd consider myself an extremely hardcore fan and I'd love to hear a range of rare stuff from And One to A Line In The Sand. I'll always take anything I haven't ever seen live, even if it's Skin To Bone. If I had to personally pick, I'd throw Lost In The Echo in any setlist I'd ever make and Powerless too. When They Come For Me should be a staple. Burning In The Skies and Valentine's Day are both underrated tracks that you'd probably agree with me on. As much as I'd like to see A Place For My Head, there's plenty of other stuff I'd love to see as well too.
  9. The ATS sessions! Nice find! Damn that's pretty interesting. Aubrey One sounds like it could open an album to me.
  10. Can't you own ATS+ and LT+? Aren't those the two latest DVD releases?
  11. They'll definitely hit the European festivals at some point in 2015 due to so much money being available there. That's an easy $1,000,000+ minimum for 90 minutes of live jams for some shows. It's stupid to ever skip that opportunity. If I was a band of LP's nature, I'd play European festivals every single summer, similar to what Metallica is doing and has been doing for quite a while now. They probably earn even more than LP does. I don't think another USA tour is coming. I do expect a few more USA festival announcements, and maybe they'll throw an oddball headlining show somewhere in there. Maybe Rocklahoma, Carolina Rebellion, or Welcome To Rockville since they're on the Rock On The Range lineup. LP has never done this type of stuff before in the USA so it's an interesting deal right now for next summer. There is currently a solid week gap between Rock In Rio and Rock On The Range so surely something else will go there. The two shows in June are back-to-back. Asia and then Australia/New Zealand will happen for sure. Linkin Park is due for a 5+ city tour of Japan again (their second biggest market outside of the USA and Germany), and they'll do Australia at about the same time probably. Perhaps India too finally.
  12. Yeah for sure, but Japan 2003 like he said is fucking GREAT stuff. I will put money on the table to argue that Tokyo 2003.10.25 (night 2) is the best LP audience recording of all time. Osaka 2006 is epic too. The band has released great stuff, of course, but there are a lot of excellent audience recordings with kickass performances. How about Mountain View 2004 with Chester stoned out of his mind? London 2001? Uniondale 2002? So much amazing stuff. Linkin Park has too many performances where they NAILED something for them to release it all. That's why audience recordings are great.
  13. We are moving our broadcast of this show up to next weekend, instead of this weekend. That's because of the DirecTV Guitar Center Sessions stuff happening this weekend, and we want to get a download of that up ASAP. Hell, maybe we can webcast both between the 12th-14th if we can get everything together. We'll see. Still wanting to webcast Berlin soon, like I said....I haven't even seen it yet. The one video clip I saw, the camera at the back of the arena was so shaky it didn't look appeasing to me.
  14. As negative as this post is....I agree 100%. "Visceral" uttered 110,000 times before the tour, "rock album that was MADE to be played live", etc...they drop so much rock from the setlists and play so much electronic garbage and poppy single stuff. Not much new stuff. Let's hear a great setlist with like Papercut, OSC, With You, Points, APFMH, Don't Stay, LFY, Faint, From The Inside, No More Sorrow, WTCFM, WFTE, Wretches, Lost In The Echo, In My Remains (maybe), Keys, All For Nothing, GATS, Wastelands, War, Until It's Gone, A Line In The Sand. Filthy. Tired of the slow shit. Adios In The End, Numb, What I've Done, Burn It Down, Castle Of Dance, and Joe Medley.
  15. Oldschool release! Road to Revolution BR just celebrated their six year anniversary and our friend Felipe, a staff member there, released an oldschool live recording for fans. This one comes from Linkin Park's first headlining tour ever! The 14th show of the tour took them to Pontiac, MI at Clutch Cargo's with Taproot and Alien Ant Farm opening, one day before Valentine's Day 2001. Setlist 01. With You 02. Runaway 03. Papercut 04. By Myself 05. Points Of Authority 06. High Voltage (Mike Shinoda Remix) 07. Crawling 08. Pushing Me Away 09. And One 10. In The End 11. A Place For My Head (feat. Stephen Richards) 12. Forgotten 13. One Step Closer Since this was the first headlining tour for Hybrid Theory (properly called the Street Soldiers Tour), Linkin Park had to come up with a full headlining setlist for the first time in their career. They messed with an 11 song setlist in Europe (for three promo shows) earlier in January, but for this tour they brought a 50 minute, 13 song setlist. LP later said these performances completely kicked their asses and made them pretty tired every night because they were used to performing 30 minute setlists as opposed to headlining. They don't deviate from standard 2001 setlists very much by opening with five songs from Hybrid Theory (choosing to open with With You instead of A Place For My Head), but they do incorporate the Mike Shinoda remix of High Voltage into the setlist - a fan favorite still to this day. And One also sneaks in there, a song frequently played in 2000 and 2001 before being dropped in 2002 and never being played again. Finally, Stephen Richards from Taproot comes out on A Place For My Head which is one of the first guest appearances in the band's live career. Even though this tour went coast-to-coast, there are not many recordings from this first headlining tour. Las Vegas was webcasted and video recordings exist from Pittsburgh and New York City. Additionally, there's a great audio recording of the Dragon Festival performance after the sixth show of this tour. Thanks to Felipe and RTR:BR for sharing this show...the only audio recording released of this tour outside of the Dragon Festival performance (same setlist). This show was rumored to have existed for many years and it's great to finally have it almost 14 years later! Also - we took their one file download of the entire show and tracked it out into individual songs for everyone. Download mp3 (320 kb/s) (.zip download, right click -> save as...) Show page + Some show pictures from this performance can be seen here. Enjoy!
  16. I mean to each his own, but Brad flat out looks stupid during a lot of the show. OSC bridge and he's standing behind Mike's keyboard looking like he wants to be as far away from the stage as possible? He dances on Castle, but damn I can't tell you how many times I saw him standing at that green tape on the very side of the stage playing (especially in Tampa) on Carnivores. He looks like he doesn't want to be there. He is flat out odd at the M&Gs and wants to be out of there as soon as possible, that's no secret at all. Yeah, lots of good songs. One problem with your post - they don't play half of that shit live. The entire band collectively loves and blows up on WTCFM - one of the few live songs I see all 6 members truly all get into it and jam to every performance - but they never play it. Brad extremely dislikes APFMH and overall, the band outside of Chester (and maybe 1-2 songs by Mike) doesn't want to play any of the obscure Hybrid Theory or Meteora songs, so good luck getting those in the future. I'm surprised With You has made it this far (even though I love that song).
  17. This might be the most bored I've ever seen LP look on stage during Numb in any video ever.
  18. It appears that the Guitar Center Sessions broadcast of Linkin Park's October 24th performance at The Wiltern has been moved to a different date - this Friday, December 5th. In a new video of Numb uploaded to YouTube, Guitar center says, "Don’t miss Linkin Park on #GCSessions Friday at 9PM on DIRECTV Audience channel 239. Filmed at The Wiltern, the show includes hits from throughout their career and from their latest album The Hunting Party. " "An exclusive live from the Wiltern clip of Linkin Park performing “Numb" from Guitar Center Sessions presented by JBL with host Nic Harcourt. See an all-new episode on December 5th at 9pm on DIRECTV's AUDIENCE (channel 239)." The original announcement for the broadcast listed a date of December 12th at 9:00pm on AUDIENCE channel 239, but that seems to have changed very recently as this is the first we've heard of the new date for December 5th. Guitar Center's website says that they'll be showing an interview with Mike and Chester as well as select songs from the show, which definitely means that the entire show will *not* be broadcasted. However, there will be some interesting behind the scenes footage, like they've teased in this video: Make sure to set your recorders so we get an excellent recording of this event! 12/10/15 EDIT: The full HD recording is finally available, over a year later! Thanks to AlexAndr0nic for the heads up. Enjoy!
  19. Only Metallica, Tool and Pearl Jam, it seems.
  20. Wow, huge venue for LP in the USA. What's even better about this is the fact Breaking Benjamin is playing. Hope they do a USA tour in 2015.
  21. Linkin Park will make their first appearance ever at Rock On The Range, a large rock festival held at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The 2015 edition falls between May 15-17, 2015. Many other acts are on the lineup - the two headliners besides Linkin Park are Slipknot at Judas Priest. Both Rise Against and Of Mice & Men, who are supporting Linkin Park's upcoming North American Tour, will also be on the bill. "In 2015, Rock On The Range will welcome live music's top cable channel, AXS TV, to film the weekend as part of their live festival coverage, allowing fans around the world to experience Rock On The Range." A Linkin Park presale is now available here. Who will be attending? This date follows three other announced festival shows in North America in summer 2015: 2015.05.09 Las Vegas, NV, MGM Resorts Festival Grounds - Rock In Rio USA 2015.05.17 Columbus, OH, Columbus Crew Stadium - Rock On The Range 2015.06.26-28 Mack, CO, Jam Ranch - Loudwire Music Festival 2015.06.30 Milwaukee, WI, Marcus Amphitheater - Summerfest These dates are spread out a good bit, leaving the possibility for more shows to be announced around them. 2/12 EDIT: Slipknot confirms they will play on the 15th and Judas Priest confirms they will play on the 16th, leaving Linkin Park to headline the 17th.
  22. Following the recent release of the Manchester, UK show on the prior day, a recording of London's night one show at O2 Arena has been posted by the Wyjebongo Team. This was show number two of three in a row to close the European Tour and was Linkin Park's first show in London since July 4, 2011. Aaron Pauley from Of Mice & Men is featured on Iridescent's portion of the Ballad Medley and Austin Carlile is on Faint, like in Manchester. This performance MIGHT be the last-ever performance of what we refer to as Set B, before the band changes a few things around for the upcoming North American Tour in 2015. FLAC (torrent via lp-bits.com) FLAC (MEGA) via original thread Show page Enjoy!
  23. Agreed 100%. I like it.
  24. Removed the link to THP. Samples are fine.
