  1. In a complete and random surprise, a Connecticut taper has uploaded the full show of Stone Temple Pilots in Mashantucket, Connecticut from Halloween 2014! The taper uploaded the show since the Uncasville, CT show for Linkin Park was unfortunately canceled. This is the first recording of the newest setlist from STP w/ Chester and features the fourth performances of Sin, Heaven And Hot Rods, and the new version of Plush, so this is a great show to have a recording from. Right after this show, Chester flew to Switzerland to kick off The Hunting Party Tour in early November. Setlist: 01. Sex Type Thing 02. Vasoline 03. Wicked Garden 04. Big Bang Baby 05. Crackerman 06. Out Of Time 07. Sin 08. Big Empty 09. Plush (2014 Version) 10. Interstate Love Song 11. Black Heart 12. Heaven And Hot Rods 13. Silvergun Superman 14. Down 15. Meatplow 16. Sex & Violence ---------------------------------------------------- 17. Dead & Bloated 18. Piece Of Pie 19. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart FLAC (torrent via DIME) Show page Enjoy!
  2. Europe has set a record on LPLive with two straight tours having tickets sent in for EVERY show! The tours by Linkin Park in June and November in Europe have fully completed show pages and we thank the fans for their big support of the website. Unfortunately we are still missing seven shows on Carnivores Tour in 2014 - Tampa, St. Paul, Winnipeg, Woodlands, Dallas, Phoenix, and Quincy. Next up, we have the two December shows in California and the North American Tour in January and February. Even though only three shows were played, we will be still collecting the tickets (and show posters/promo images) for the canceled dates. An example is the Houston show from 2011. Up first: 12.12 Oakland 12.13 Inglewood 01.18 Indianapolis What we are looking for from these shows: - Show pictures - Ticket scans/pictures (print-at-home tickets too) - M&G wristbands, VIP wristbands, GA pit wristbands, any kind of wristbands or passes - Setlist scans/pictures - Show posters/promo images Next, we need just tickets for these shows: 01.20 Pittsburgh 01.23 Atlantic City 01.24 Providence 01.27 Hershey 01.28 Greensboro 01.30 Uncasville 01.31 Manchester 02.03 Hamilton 02.04 Grand Rapids 02.07 Lincoln 02.11 Saskatoon 02.12 Calgary (+ LPU Summit confirmation email) 02.14 Edmonton Please submit your scans/images to us via email at pics(AT)lplive(DOT)net. We will blur/white your name out on the tickets. We have literally nothing from 2015 so far and nothing from the two radio shows in December in 2014. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: Now we are accepting tickets from the North American Summer Shows in May and June 2015 as well as The Hunting Party European Tour in August and September! 05.09 Las Vegas 05.17 Columbus 05.23 Pryor 05.24 San Antonio 06.19 Montebello 06.23 Mexico City 06.25 Monterrey 06.27 Mack 06.30 Milwaukee 08.20 Hasselt 08.22 St. Polten 08.23 Hockenheim 08.25 Rybnik 08.27 Minsk 08.29 Moscow 08.31 Jamsa 09.03 Berlin 09.05 Dusseldorf 09.06 Roma Thanks!
  3. I can't believe they met the goal in 11 hours. All of the money. I'm ready for the CD - the video with clips sounds amazing. I haven't decided which package to purchase yet, though.
  4. One of the coolest exclusives I've seen from the LPU. Who cares if he can't describe the tracks exactly, I'm sure 99% of the shit was just Mike in a studio by himself. And it wouldn't be that interesting, lol. Like "oh here's the....third instrumental and yeah I played with piano and drums on it." Brad's insight is cool and different for a change, but he does a great job with it IMO. I really like this.
  5. Wow, nice find. It's worth a discussion, anyway. Which venues? I can update the main post with this "rumor". Chonqqin has been rumored for a while. I did hear that Phoenix allegedly said at the Amsterdam Summit that LP would not be playing in Asia for THP (my guess is that it is likely due to ticket sales). Perhaps that changed, but we will see.
  6. They could easily add headline shows between the festivals, though. They can bring crowds, hell look at the northeast and look at Florida. Guaranteed markets. Headline Dallas and Houston before Rocklahoma, shit, Texas always turns out for LP. The Brooklyn show would have been fine but it seems that with the snow, the Hershey show stood a big chance of being canceled.
  7. Considering Mike is in West Virginia and Chester is at a hospital nowhere near where Mike is, that would be hard for Shinoda to post updates on the guy, ha.
  8. They could definitely find the time to redo the entire tour. But it's a B city tour and is probably selling worse for them than they thought. If this was some A city tour with 20-25 shows across America/Canada and almost completely sold out, you'd for sure see them reschedule.
  9. There is no video footage from the LPU Tour in 2003 outside of Detroit. That broadcast omitted a few songs like ETR and HTF. The only ETR video is from LPU 4's enhanced CD. The only HTF video is from State College, PA 2003.
  10. I was told Phoenix said at the Amsterdam Summit that the band does not plan to tour Asia for THP. Maybe that has to do with album sales there. Perhaps the rest of the year they'll do these USA festivals, do South America and Australia, and then a European run in August. I'm not sure why the B cities were selling badly. Floor was available for the entire tour except Brooklyn, I believe. THP didn't sell many copies in the USA and lacked a big radio single. Blame the disagreement between LP/WBR for that on the lead single. GATS then UIG was a disaster. LP wanted GATS, WBR wanted UIG. They should have agreed to disagree and dropped Wastelands or something. However, LP is at the point in their career where they can really do what they want and if they want The Catalyst and GATS to be lead singles, then fuck it that's what the lead singles will be. Orlando had a really good crowd. Nashville and Indianapolis were really small (7-8,000) and the trend would have of course continued as they got to these "middle of nowhere" places further into the tour. Atlantic City and Brooklyn would have been fine, and maybe a few in Canada. I guess we'll have to try and see the band in May and June in the USA. What I would REALLY like is if they add in some random headlining shows between these festivals. As of now, LP is playing just on the weekends on those two months. Add some mid-week headlining shows and that'd be a nice treat. There's no way they make up an entire mediocre-selling B city tour, but I could see them playing NYC and a few other big cities maybe.
  11. With The Hunting Party Tour ending quickly after just three shows, what is the next move for Linkin Park? Even though it was just a few shows, this tour started with the band in impressive form (especially Chester's voice) and with excellent production. But what does the band do now? There seems to be almost no chance that this "B city" tour gets rescheduled (especially with low ticket sales in quite a few cities) so do they attempt to book another North American run later in the year for bigger cities? Do they play a Hybrid Theory club tour to get some hype for the band going? Or do they just skip out and only play the USA festivals and international shows this year? The press release today was pretty pessimistic in several ways, but this also was their largest tour cancellation ever at 15 shows (the previous record was 12 in June 2003). And with two more songs from The Hunting Party being dropped from the setlists (Rebellion and Until It's Gone), is the touring cycle for this album coming to a close? What do you think we will see from Linkin Park going further into 2015?
  12. Canceled Fuck. Is there even a small chance they ever play at this venue?
  13. I'm not sure about everyone else's experiences and opinions of the show, but I personally had a way better time at these two shows than I did all last summer. Due to there not being a production rehearsal, Orlando threw me some legit surprises that had that "oh shit!" feeling for the first time in years. We always know the setlists and always know what they're playing but for one show I truly didn't have a clue. And they played me FTI and APFMH. Great stuff.
  14. Yeah but that makes it even worse. I saw 9 shows of what I personally would consider a very average / slightly boring show last year (especially the encore, which was horrible). I really enjoyed Nashville and Orlando 100x more than Carnivores. These shows were bringing it. I guess so, yeah. The bands post on social media and then Ticketmaster or Live Nation sends you an email.
  15. From a pretty reliable source I have been told that before the Indianapolis show, Chester was playing basketball backstage in the venue like they have done a million times before in arenas (see: Phoenix 2014, Atlanta 2011, etc). He jumped up and in an absolute freak accident he somehow landed on a water bottle on the ground and broke his ankle. It was a few hours before the show, so he went to the hospital after that, then came back for the M&G and show. Again, I am not 100% positive on that but that's what I was told yesterday.
  16. Wording is something the PR department is an expert with and I really agree with you. I think the USA is done for The Hunting Party besides these random festivals. And how weird of LP not to even confirm the Rocklahoma show today.
  17. The Orlando and Nashville shows were some of the best shows I have seen Chester at. Production and sound were amazing too. Wow. Grim grim thing to say here, but at least I saw APFMH.
  18. Oh holy fuck. Entire tour canceled. http://www.linkinpark.com/news/238383
  19. A new show has been added for the end of May. Linkin Park will headline Rocklahoma 2015, held in Pryor, Oklahoma at the "Catch The Fever Festival Grounds" between May 22nd and 24th, 2015. Other bands on the lineup include Tesla, Godsmack, Slayer, Volbeat, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Halestorm, Queensryche, Live, Anthrax, Ministry, The Pretty Reckless, Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts, Of Mice and Men, In This Moment, Apocolyptica, The Winery Dogs, In Flames, Motionless In White, Aranda, Nonpoint, We Are Harlot, Young Guns, and You Me At Six. It is unknown which day Linkin Park will headline yet. A presale is live now. This will be Linkin Park's first show in Oklahoma since they played Oklahoma City in February 2008. The show joins Rock In Rio USA, Rock On The Range, Loudwire Music Festival, and Summerfest in the list of summer festivals that the band is performing at in the USA. There are significant gaps between these shows, so perhaps some headlining shows will be announced to fill the space. The full list of 2015 tour dates can be found here.
  20. Remember this? Chester jamming way out in the crowd on BIO Brisbane 2007 with the broken wrist haha
  21. They haven't posted anything weirdly enough. Boardwalk Hall says the show is still on....that's probably something you can get from just calling the tour manager or band or whatever. Basic information lol, of course it's still on since the only 2 canceled shows are Pittsburgh and Albany. Let's hope nothing changes.
  22. Yes. But I am going to try to be front row for the first time at an LP show. LPU Early Entry. Come see me in line I guess, or we can chat ASAP when the show is done. What do you think?
  23. Venue seems really epic to me. That's why I want to go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boardwalk_Hall Built in 1929. It's a US national historic landmark, the place just looks awesome (not a conventional design for a venue), etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boardwalk_Hall#mediaviewer/File:2014_Boardwalk_Hall_01.JPGand it's on the beach. I do think this one will get canceled but I am hoping I am wrong.
