  1. Stone Temple Pilots have just announced a tour in the United States during the month of April. They have one festival show in Arizona just before it begins; this will bring them to fifteen shows for this year so far. STP with Chester has yet to hit the west coast USA for any shows, so this will be a great opportunity to catch the band. 2015.03.28 Scottsdale, AZ, Westworld Of Scottsdale, Arizona Bike Week 2015.04.08 Seattle, WA, Paramount Theatre 2015.04.10 San Francisco, CA, The Fillmore 2015.04.12 Anaheim, CA, House Of Blues 2015.04.13 Hollywood, CA, House Of Blues 2015.04.15 Denver, CO, Fillmore Auditorium 2015.04.17 Dallas, TX, House Of Blues 2015.04.19 San Antonio, TX, House Of Blues Aztec Theatre 2015.04.20 Oklahoma City, OK, Diamond Ballroom 2015.04.22 Chicago, IL, House Of Blues 2015.04.24 Silver Spring, MD, The Fillmore 2015.04.25 Montclair, NJ, Wellmont Theatre 2015.04.27 New York City, NY, Irving Plaza 2015.04.28 Boston, MA, House Of Blues 2015.04.30 Philadelphia, PA, Theatre Of The Living Arts Who will be seeing the tour?

  3. "Among the bands linked with headline slots at the festival next summer are Mumford & Sons, Kasabian, The Libertines, Florence & The Machine, Metallica and Linkin Park" http://www.hmv.com/music/first-bands-for-reading-and-leeds-festivals-2015-to-be-announced-tonight-november-25th http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/179166-lineup-2015/page-450 These people are dead set on it being Linkin Park for Reading/Leeds. LP can headline their own day easily, but they also can support Metallica too.
  4. Weezer will play on the 26th and Rob Zombie on the 28th, so Linkin Park will be on the 27th.
  5. Slipknot will headline on the 15th, Judas Priest on the 16th, per their official websites. Linkin Park will headline the 17th.
  6. LP in Quebec on the 19th. A Live Earth event in the northeast USA on the 18th makes this likely.
  7. They probably asked LP to do an album in full (who wouldn't? since so many others are doing it) and likely couldn't come up with the cash for it. I'm sure whatever LP got from Download was insane.
  8. Live Earth is on June 18th, the day before LP plays. Seems likely they'll play, especially since Live Earth will have a northeast USA event.
  9. LP confirms for June 19th.
  10. Holy lineup. Deftones playing Around The Fur in full, and lots of gems here. Is this the first Thrice comeback show? I've been following them and haven't seen them announce anything yet, wow. Big news. Gogol Bordello, so good. Story Of The Year, wow. Huge fan of this lineup.
  11. Final Masquerade on Minutes To Midnight New Divide on Living Things All For Nothing on Minutes To Midnight and most importantly, Primo on A Thousand Suns. Leaving off Primo in favor of I'll Be Gone on Living Things was a bad move in my opinion. WJL -> Primo would have been great to me. I have that on a burned CD and love it. Of course Cumulus on Meteora, but that's from the same era. It's hard to place anything else on the Meteora board because the album has such a signature, unique sound. I couldn't see a single song on another album going on Meteora, especially some crap like Lies Greed Misery (worst studio song they've ever written IMO). Apaches would work well as a WFTE intro on ATS but it'd fuck up the Jornada/WFTE transition.

  13. I hope when he meant LP is booked the rest of the year, it isn't studio time. I was seriously impressed with what I saw in Orlando and Nashville and I want to see them live again. Whether they make up the USA tour or not, let's hope they go to Europe in August for some great, huge shows (outdoor in Germany again, and some places they haven't played in a long time that don't get LP a lot). I'd really like to see them tour the rest of 2015. The problem is we were spoiled with 2 USA tours for MTM, but ATS, LT and THP have had just one so far (the second THP one was canceled)....the announcements he's referring to sound like May/June USA festival stuff, which is good.
  14. Hmm that would be interesting to find the latest show he did that at! Let's start looking IMO we will never find a Faint outro as good as Rock am Ring 2007. I believe LP knew how special Rock am Ring 2004 was (they definitely saw shit online saying RaR04 was better than the Live In Texas release) and they came into RaR07 with a "let's kick some fuckin' ass" mentality. OSC, the place went OFF. LP comes out looking like some badasses. And wow the end of Faint was incredible. Anyway all of that + the fact that was the only show Chester ever sang PMA piano off of the micstand and walking around....that tells me LP really knew it was a truly epic, almost once in a lifetime event.
  15. The sample was just one clip in the email and it's what you uploaded, just of that one song.
  16. Thanks a lot, again. LOL! "Presale code is Rebellion, so let's drop that song from the show!"
  17. Thanks! Also just got some amazing Japan stuff. First up was this one from Tokyo Zepp 2006. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2006/20060810The rest is being added. A nice guy in Japan sent in a bunch starting with 2003 all the way to present day - incredible.
  18. A Julien-K email I believe that Daniel sent out with a preview.
  19. http://www.nme.com/news/linkin-park/78422 This is right after Download, he says it with a bit of an attitude haha. Clearly not impressed by the Download set in the daytime. He's been doing it a lot more since 2014. He skipped doing that ending scream on Faint for practically years (except I guess in rare cases). I think it was at both the Orlando and Nashville shows this year.
  20. Kick The Bass demo is on YouTube but I have never seen an mp3 of it. Great stuff here, thanks.
  21. You guys can share whatever demos, etc you want as long as they aren't on the major studio releases. Post those demos if you want, sure.
  22. Looks like the Linkin Park Festival Tour featuring Halestorm and Scott Weiland this summer, lol
