The most special performances from the DSP's

Disagree completely. Compare Pooch's best works to Ethan's recent stuff and there's no comparison, I'll take Pooch's all day. Ethan destroyed Download 2014 and Carson 2012. Monterrey 2012 is definitely excessively worked on. I don't like Ethan's feel he goes for...he takes the live element away IMO. It sounds too polished and worked on. Pooch's good stuff is prime for me. Ethan does have some good stuff, like From The Inside in 2006, but I will take Pooch's stuff generally. Of course he has some rough stuff too...mixing every show on a long tour with the exact same songs can be pretty boring. My favorite years were 2007 and 2009. When LP changed gear before they toured for ATS, they never sounded the same to me. I've got it. Just found it. If you want me to upload it I can. -

When do the CDs start shipping? -
Well, that's good news for Europe since they'll add a few more shows and do a Summit there. It looks like they could only do one in Minsk or Moscow right now anyway. Maybe they'll add a Switzerland, France, or UK show. I doubt they'll add another THP song...they've mentioned that a million times before. And it would be great to have a Hybrid Theory USA show in October....wow.

We'd like to extend a massive congratulations to the Red Hot Chili Peppers community on a goal that they just met, which they've been working for since August 2013. Their fans at that time created a Change.org petition to get RHCP to release older soundboard recordings by the band. The petition was asking for 5,000 signatures, which they obtained in 2014, and was directed to Warner Music Group, who oversees the band. Starting off, the petition reads, "If you're a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, this is important as it showcases the magnificent talent they possess when they play in front of their fans!" It goes on to state, "With the huge success of the live downloads made available from the recent 'I'm With You' tour, we're campaigning for the earlier recordings to be made available for commercial release too. Hearing the classic shows the band have put on over the last decade would be a dream come true for most, if not all, Red Hot Chili Peppers fans. The principle worked for the recent tour, and we know expanding the catalogue would make us fans very happy!" Fast forward two years to just last week, when Red Hot Chili Peppers emailed their fanbase and posted the following to social media, "You've been asking for them. We've been digging through the archives and want to share the first show with you now... Get the free live download from Cardiff, Wales on June 23, 2004 now. Stay tuned for more releases from the Red Hot Chili Peppers live downloads archives!" Needless to say, the fans were successful and the band decided to release older recordings. The first one comes from their very popular 2004 tour across the world and was even released for FREE to promote the upcoming releases that they're going to put out. Nice! Unfortunately, our campaign to get older DSPs released by Linkin Park (started in March 2013) was not as successful. The band stopped releasing shows in November 2012 due to low sales and hasn't restarted selling them since. The DSP website still has all 229 shows (see our wiki page here) that the band released from 2007 to 2012. While we would like to see Linkin Park release a few shows each year on the website as well as a few random older shows, it doesn't seem like that is going to happen as we haven't heard any news from their management about it in quite some time. Maybe someday... The live recording guide for RHCP entitled Stone Cold Bush, run by our good friend Anton, lists all known RHCP recordings as we have attempted to do here on LPLive. It is a recommended site if you're a fan of the band as it is well kept and the community there is quite dedicated to preserving the RHCP live history. It is one of many websites for bands like our own that keep track of recordings, like NIN Live (formerly Reflecting In The Chrome), Live Nirvana, and Foo Fighters Live. Anyway, congratulations to the Red Hot Chili Peppers fans and we're excited to see what else that band releases!

Wow not that much epic stuff in all these years of DSPs. They need to really release some older shows. -
I think 2016 will be the next 2013 for LP. Australia, Asia, and some random shows. Maybe even a 2009 style European Tour. STP and Fort Minor in fall 2015 and most of 2016, big touring for both. LP reconvenes in the actual studio in late 2016 to write, with an album out in mid-late 2017. I think FM is about to kick in big time. I see it playing out way later than you I guess.

3 German shows is good. Still not enough IMO but that's good for such a short tour. I'm surprised the UK didn't even get one show. There's room to add one more to make it ten on Sept 1 or 2 I guess. I'm surprised they're doing such a short tour.
-
I bet they go to Europe in the fall or sometime in 2016 when LP takes a break. If FM tours a lot then STP will definitely go to Europe.

"For more information about the concert, please look at our micro-channel "yulepiaowu" How do we find that?

USA, Canada and Mexico shows in the same week - must be the first time ever for LP, surely. I bet June starts with Live Earth NYC on 6/18 and they either add 1 show or keep the days open between Canada and Mexico, and that's it for the "mini" tour in June. For May...maybe Rock In Rio is a one off (warmup club show too, anyone?) and they do another mini tour there.

The venue has been renamed from Crew Stadium to MAPFRE Stadium.

Linkin Park will be returning to Mexico for two shows in June! The news was just posted on the Arena Ciudad de México venue Facebook page. This will be the first Linkin Park trip to Mexico since 2012! Translation: "The band will be presenting the tour that bears the name of their latest album, in Mexico City Arena this coming June 23 at 21:00 pm , after this presentation, will be presented at the Arena Monterrey on June 25 to 21:00." 2015.06.23 Mexico City, MX, Arena Ciudad de México 2015.06.25 Monterrey, MX, Arena Monterrey Source here. Thanks to Hybrid Soldiers Mexico! EDIT: Confirmed by Linkin Park: "Hola Mexico – LINKIN PARK is coming to Mexico City on June 23rd and Monterrey on June 25th. Nos vemos pronto Mexico! -Brad"

I bet they announce Germany solo shows and the festival at the same time, and I bet it's this week. Tomorrow or Wednesday.
-
FM4 Frequency is between August 20-22. Chemical Brothers will be on August 20th because they are headlining France on the 21st and headlining Lowlands in the Netherlands on the 22nd. http://www.thechemicalbrothers.com/#p=home Linkin Park is the 21st or 22nd. Too hard to figure out since Prodigy could play OpenAir Gampel either of those days too I guess. That festival is too confusing with its lineup to make sense of where Prodigy plays there, or else we could already know the LP date. OpenAir Gampel has like 4 days but looks like there are 5 headliners.

Yeah I've seen those before, I think they were online at some point in like 2005-2006ish. Maybe Mike posted them somewhere. But I forgot all about them, I didn't save them.
-
I saw this JUST before Carnivores started and had enough time to print out the two Fort Minor ones. I got them signed at the production rehearsal in West Palm Beach before the tour kicked off. Mike seemed hesitant to sign them. He just looked at them and was quiet and said they were alternate covers for The Rising Tied before I asked him to sign them. My impression was that he thought I was going to sell them on eBay or something. I just wanted them signed so I could get them framed, haha. It was an awkward encounter for sure. Maybe he's never seen a fan with them before, I'm not sure. I attached a picture. The rest of the stuff is indeed interesting, and is worth archiving in case it ever goes down.
-
Rock'n'Heim is on the 14th. We don't know until they announce Germany, I guess. That seems to be the holdup. If they go to Europe for less than 15 shows then that's kind of odd to me.
-
I would say they are doing a good job of that this tour. Already, we have 7 show dates. They're playing a country they've never been to before - Belarus. Finland gets a show for the first time since 2011, and Finland pretty much never gets shows by LP. This is their what, third ever there? They are playing places in Poland and Austria where they have never played before....switching it up in familiar countries. Poland never got LP for the longest time and are now getting shows consistently which is nice to see. Italy didn't see LP for ages so it's nice they get 2 shows on THP Tour. Slowly but surely they're crossing off their lists of places to go. I'd say Spain, Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden, Greece (lol won't happen anytime soon), Turkey, Ireland, Latvia/Lithuania are left. Hungary, Serbia, etc if they ever want to go there. There are beautiful venues in Ireland and that SSE Hydro in Glasgow is impressive too. We'll see what they add.
-
Probably a mistake by them to post it early, which means it'll probably be announced with more Germany dates soon. We saw it too, don't worry, haha. Definitely happening.
-
Actually I saw that and was reading (with translations) the LP Spain and Live Nation ES accounts yesterday. That's good you noticed that. I don't know why else Live Nation would follow LP. The thing that sucks about Madrid 2010 is that everyone thought it would just be WFTE performed for the EMAs. I remember people having no idea. We didn't even know it was a regular show until like 2 hours before, which of course is too late to travel to. Damn.
