Yes. The only reason I know they change from show to show is this... Go watch APFMH from the performances in 2012 where they weren't planning to play it. Bucharest and Noblesville if I recall correctly. Rob doesn't have the APFMH samples (from the bridge) in his kit for those shows, since APFMH isn't in the setlist at those shows. Instead, he just hits the snare. I don't know how exactly that stuff is preloaded, though. Maybe they have a computer with the setlist on it preload it before every show, or something. Astat, do you have any information? It really changes worldwide, a lot. Honda Civic Tour and Carnivores, after fees, were $112+ for pit. This San Antonio radio festival, and Tucson in 2014, are both $40~ since they are festivals. LP headlining is pretty expensive - go check the show pages we have tickets for and that's the price before fees. When LP plays in New Zealand and Australia, I think they are automatically more expensive than USA shows due to how expensive it is for LP to get down there and play.

I actually could probably get that info from Lorenzo. It's something we need anyway. Let me shoot him an email.

Wow the first post is pretty thorough with all of the rumors and stuff so far. Nice job. I think Rock On The Range will be LP on the final day. They were first on the lineup initially and now on everything they're third. We'll see. You even included Reading and Leeds. My guess for the rest of the touring cycle: Nothing until May. LP warms up with a show before Rock In Rio USA and plays USA festival shit from May to June. July and August is Europe. August and Sept they make up the USA tour and headline the amphitheaters. That probably wasn't the initial plan but I bet they come back and do that. Promoters will want them. And maybe break for studio. 2016 do some Asia/Australia with a USA show here or there while they work on new material, just like 2013.

7,000 questions for sure but he will at least answer with some good stuff. We'll find out a few things about touring probably.

The band just announced that Mike will be in the LPU chat room on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 at 11:30am PST / 2:30pm EST. If you are outside of the United States, you can convert the time here. This will be a good time to ask Mike about upcoming things for Linkin Park, such as their song with Steve Aoki entitled Horizons or if they plan on making up the canceled North American Tour later this year.

They'll probably pick different venues this time, but maybe not. Yeah. Live Earth will be webcasted for sure. A few of these are set to be shown on AXS too like Rock In Rio USA, Rocklahoma, Rock On The Range. AXS will at least be there, so we're crossing our fingers LP will be broadcasted.

The climate pact will be signed in Paris. The events will take place all over the world. For Live Earth 2007, they had shows at the National Mall in Washington DC and Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. London, Hamburg, Rome, Tokyo, Sydney, etc too. They'll definitely have one in Paris but a few in the USA for sure, which is what LP would likely play.

In a recent press release, Pharrell Williams said he is teaming up with Al Gore and producer Kevin Wall to bring Live Earth back on June 18th. They are planning "a "Live Earth" concert on six continents to build support for a U.N. climate pact in Paris among more than 190 nations in December." The promo video says "100+ artists, 24 hours, 6 continents". You can find more information on Live Earth Road To Paris on their official website. Linkin Park performed at the first Live Earth event in 2007, when they played in Tokyo. Additionally, their Live 8 show in Philadelphia was one of just two shows by the band that year, the other being their Music For Relief concert in Anaheim. The band is a big advocate for these types of events so we think they will likely make an appearance. June 18th falls just before their June festival spots at Loudwire Music Festival and Summerfest. Thanks to LPLive member BNCMajor for the heads up! 2/18 EDIT: The 2015 locations (yet to be fully revealed) will include New York, South Africa, Australia, China, Brazil and Paris. LP performs in Canada on the 19th, leaving New York as the likely location of the show LP would play.

Thanks - great stuff. PDFs are great.

If Rockfest in Kansas City and WWMRBQ fall on the same weekend after Oklahoma and Texas I bet they do both. Those seem like the only other festivals that haven't announced anything.
-
Because they probably thought it was cool. ATS uses broomsticks, crickets, megaphones, Brad speaking in Spanish, electronic toys, etc. Why not?
-
Godsmack's website is showing they're playing on the 22nd. LP plays San Antonio on the 24th, so it looks like this show will be on the 23rd. http://godsmack.com/tour/

Yes. It's in Thai I guess. Not sure exactly what it was saying. I doubt LP even knows. Probably some random stuff like "get your Linkin Park shirts here, your shirts for Linkin Park" or something.
-
Yup. I asked Brad, Phoenix and Mike at the LPU Summit in Camden about it. He was selling fake merch with the LP logos on it in front of the venue. Mike went up to him and recorded it and the guy had no idea it was Mike, haha.

Scott is on the bill for a few of these summer shows. He will play earlier in the day and leave, they'll never see each other lol -

I'll be there for sure. Just count me in for all future Philly-area LP shows. Crowds are too wild to skip that. Plus, I know a guy who lives there who enjoys hosting smelly zombies.

New Track Debuts on Radio w/ Ryan & Amir on 1/29

Damn, can't believe they didn't debut anything! -
A website called WOLVERINEKILLS has posted a second time about Linkin Park being rumored to headline Mayhem Festival this summer. The rumor originally appeared back on January 9th in a post by them claiming that Linkin Park or Slipknot would headline Mayhem Festival 2015. On January 26th, Slipknot announced they were headlining their own "Summer's Last Stand" tour with Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine, and Motionless In White. For those who aren't familiar, Mayhem is a traveling "festival" tour, very similar to what LP used to do with Projekt Revolution. However, the lineup for Mayhem tends to lean with heavy rock/metal bands. 2014's bill included Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Asking Alexandria, and Trivium among others. Even though we aren't very familiar with this website, they admittedly do have a bit of credibility for being the first website to (boldly) leak the identity of the new Slipknot drummer back in April 2014. The website is claiming that Linkin Park is the most heavily rumored band to headline Mayhem this summer, and they claim also that a summer tour by Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson will take place as well. For Mayhem, their rumored lineup includes Linkin Park, Battlecross, Periphery, Thy Art Is Murder, and Glass Cloud. The rest of their post speculates on what other bands could join Mayhem with LP, like Slayer or Deftones. Some things in support of this rumor.... they have the credibility with the Slipknot drummer and are really pushing the rumor of LP being on Mayhem, LP could easily bring large crowds to summer amphitheaters with a rock lineup, and this could serve as their "makeup" tour for the canceled winter tour. They also played a "sponsored" tour in 2012 with Honda for the Honda Civic Tour. Finally, Linkin Park is only announcing "B" cities again for these summer festivals in May/June and NOT any major cities on touring circuits. And some things against this rumor.... Mayhem stereotypically isn't a festival you'd think LP would be on (obviously), and the band claimed in interviews on the European Tour that the THP North American Tour would be their "last" tour in North America for the album. We have heard zero information about the band's plans for the summer (besides the rumor that they will NOT return to Asia in 2015), but it's worth a discussion at least. With Linkin Park dropping songs from The Hunting Party earlier this month from the live setlist, perhaps they are moving on from touring in support of this album, and a North American Tour playing their biggest songs will guaranteed bring pretty large crowds. And an idea from way out in left field...they could even hit a home run with the tour and perform an album start-to-finish if they wanted to be one of the largest tours of 2015. What do you think?

Rock In Rio USA, Rock On The Range, River City Rockfest, Rocklahoma, Loudwire Music Festival, Summerfest. That's a lot of festivals for LP in the USA this summer. What other ones could they play? Carolina Rebellion and Welcome To Rockville have already been announced. These are mostly rock festivals, so the normal USA festivals obviously won't book LP. - WWMR in Philly does MMR*B*Q at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ in early May. This would fit between Rock In Rio USA and Rock On The Range. The lineup hasn't been announced for 2015 yet. http://www.wmmr.com/events/mmrbq/ - Rockfest on May 30 in Kansas City. http://www.entercomkc.com/kqrc/rockfest_announcement/rockfest.html

Chester fucking shines big time on Plush, wow. Excellent vocals. -
A new show has been announced and the fans in Texas have lucked out! Linkin Park will headline the River City Rockfest at San Antonio, TX's AT&T Center on May 24, 2015. This is the first indoor arena show announced for this summer. Linkin Park has not performed in San Antonio since 2007, when they played Selma, TX's amphitheater on Projekt Revolution 2007. They played this arena on the Meteora World Tour in 2004 and almost had a show there on Family Values Tour 2001 on November 9th, but it was canceled, so Rockfest will be their third show in the city. There is a large lineup playing this festival - Volbeat, Papa Roach, Halestorm, In This Moment, Live, The Pretty Reckless, Anthrax, Scott Weiland, In Flames, We Are Harlot, You Me At Six, Upon A Burning Body, and Crobot will round out the lineup. Surely with 14 bands there will be two stages, but we don't know that for a fact. The general admission presale is only $39.50 so this is the cheapest Linkin Park show for a ticket on the floor that we've seen since Tucson, AZ 2014 (also around $40). An LPU presale will go live on February 3rd, and regular tickets are on sale on February 6th. This show falls between Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma on the current touring schedule, which you can view here.

Dean just posted on Soundcloud the following message with a few audio clips, "Howdy ya’ll. I thought I'd start these new "memo:demos" to share some audio clips that are recorded on my phone which include anything from alternate solos, songs from the point in time of their conception and some new ditties. Have fun and stay tuned for more. - Dean" The first three are demo clips from the High Rise EP and the final track appears to be something new. 01. Out Of Time (Alternate Solo) 02. Cry Cry (Alternate Solo) 03. Same On The Inside (Guitar Only) 04. The Hotel On The Hill Listen to the clips here. The band is currently in the studio working on new music for a full-length album, due out later this year.

Hopefully someone can get this recorded!
