Looks like no LP at Rock Fest in Kansas City. Beats me as to what LP will really play in May and June besides what is already announced. Headlining shows would be great. Yep, I agree about Lolla Berlin. WMMR is the radio station name in Philadelphia. BBQ is of course a barbecue so they mashed it all together. I heard Europe was it for LP and the touring cyle ends in September, BUT this is interesting because these shows would come right after Europe after a 2 week break. Very interesting how these rumored dates played out. I don't doubt them at all, they probably were negotiated for then and all since LP knew they'd be in Europe in Aug/Sept ages ago (easily last November they knew that)...maybe they still happen.

The Stone Temple Pilots album comes out in October, supposedly, according to Eric Kretz in his latest STP interview. They will of course tour around then since LP stops touring in September. Great timing for Fort Minor.

With LP on ticket alert in Germany and the Poland promoter announcing on Tuesday....we can expect some announcements this week. A few USA festivals are announcing tomorrow - WMMRBQ in Philly and Rockfest in Kansas City.

On September 26, 2013, Stone Temple Pilots headlined Marquee Theater in Tempe, AZ on their Fall U.S. Tour. Before that show, they went to Scottsdale, AZ at the request of 98KUPD radio in Arizona, to play a 3 song acoustic set at Pub Rock Live. Thanks to Jim Digby at the time, we were able to obtain the setlist for that performance. This was only the second time the band ever played Pretty Penny with Chester. Pretty Penny was released officially in 2014 and we later posted it for download. Not a fan of this genre of jams at all with LP....glad they dropped ALTNC short, glad it was played once full band ever, glad they aren't doing more of this stuff, aaaaand I hope they don't play this one. I generally don't make such negative posts but I hate ALTNC...a lot.

Maybe they want a crazy amount of money and promoters just aren't willing to pay it whereas festivals are. MLK obviously gives LP huuuge money since they sell out the shows all the time. Yes, having big successful shows definitely correlates to LP coming back. Milano was MASSIVE and look, LP returns. Expect to see Italy in the next world tour too. Russia might be the best example. 2007 was so big for them and they've returned in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014. Poland is another good example. Wroclaw's show was huge after Orange Warsaw 2012. I agree with Jonas. Looks like they'll take July off, which sucks, but Chester will need a break. There's like a week or so between the STP last show of the tour and LP at Rock In Rio....that pretty much guarantees they'll play the same stuff for the rest of the touring cycle or at least May and June. Maybe STP finishes the CD in July and/or tours a little bit with a few shows. After Europe it's STP full on, probably, which is why the North American Tour wasn't made up. Maybe Fort Minor returns then. May and June surely will get some more shows. What sucks is that they probably won't do a full USA tour there. Why not play from May 9th until June 30th and headline shows in between all of the festivals? Make up some canceled shows, play Texas, California, Florida, northeast, etc. Hell, play Mexico. That'd sit well with the USA/Canada fans since the whole tour was canceled. I see a lot of people on the LPU FB page bitching about European shows being announced, lol. They're only playing on weekends right now in May and June. Weirdest thing I've seen in a while.

I'm surprised they haven't come back to Portugal and Spain to headline an arena in each country. Weird. They could easily headline 2 arenas in Italy too....I'm not sure why they don't try it. Sziget in Budapest is August 17~ or something.
