  1. ohh I did a little fan montage sync'd with the bootleg of Bleed It Out from that gig a while back.
  2. Like most of you are saying this does defiantly needs 1080p treatment. I was thinking that as well, but I think part of the reason for the funny angle was to match it with the skull image?
  3. Haha, theres always one. What happened to everyone complaining there wasn't enough CGI in the early MTM days? This video is setting it's self up to be one of my favourites. It's like the ND video had offspring with the LOATR video = awesome.
  4. Waiting for the End just scrapes over Blackout. I can see this changing drastically as I keep listening though.
  5. I would have thought Blackout would have been a definite favourite amoung you all, it's certainly one of the highlights of the album for me. When They Come For Me failed in my opinion, I actually laughed when I first heard Mike try and spit "motherfucker". Otherwise I would have voted Iridescent, which to me sounds like a boring 30 Seconds to Mars album song. I don't mind Robot Boy so much, not brilliant, just meh.
  6. My first impressions are good, it's defiantly an album you have to listen though in full, in the correct order. Iridescent - the first minute starts of beautiful but the rest is boring to me. Some of the breaks are pretty intense, Wisdom, Justice And Love certainly is. Blackout is amazing and Joe tears shit apart on that song, incredible. I really enjoy Waiting for The End, defiantly a good choice as a second single, shame it's going to start a new shit storm with those STILL stuck in pre-MTM. Still yet to make my mind up about The Messenger. When They Come For Me isn't one I'm going to go back to, yeah it has attitude, but does nothing for me. As a whole it's a lot more ambient then the last records, some cases for good some bad.
  7. and my God, it is awesome. Love the general build up of the song.
  8. To encourage people to listen to the whole thing in order, with all the interludes and what not.
  9. I like it a lot. Speech is by Mario Savio:
  10. The album is probably (or soon is) out of their control and will almost certainly be leaked, so this is probably just a last push to get people to buy it before that happens. I'm buying it elsewhere online, the lp.com benefits don't seem worth the extra £.
  11. I like it, a lot. Shame we'll have no way of buying/watching/viewing/whatever the full "making of" in HD, cause the editing looked sweet.
  12. MTV.co.uk said they'd release it at 5am, it's now just gone 6am and I've still yet to see the video :/
  13. Well I'm not going to the shows in London because of the price. I swear I paid around £45 for Projekt Rev in MK!
  14. From The Catalyst and the album reviews, the album sounds like it's full of risky surprises within the songs. I'm guessing more on the whole Japanese A-bombs again, like The Catalyst but from both perspectives, so for example, "acid rain" for the victims, "celebration" for those who dropped the bomb, "blackout" for victim, "blood in your eye" for those who dropped the bomb, etc. Again, a blatant concept idea for the album, but it's easy to apply the lyrics personally.
  15. Ah awesome, I've managed to see them live a few times and made some very close friends over on their forum, they are certainly something. I don't understand why auto-tune gets slayd all the time, although it's mostly abused - which is why it's earned a bad reputation plus the fact some people still think it's wrong that it's not "natural" or "real". I thought we got over the fact that musicians these days don't actually need physical instruments to produce amazing music. So even though Ana has clarified that it's not really auto-tune, if used properly, I'd be pretty psyched to hear LP use it.
  16. Nice to see some Innerpartysystem love They need far more attention then they get. I've grown to like them more than LP. Anyway, I didn't dig the political side of MTM in the slightest, to the extent that No More Sorrow, made itself the worst LP track in my mind - flat, boring, amazingly repetitive drum beat and generally empty. So seeing as this album is set to be pretty much 100% political, I'm hoping it doesn't reflect the way MTM deals with politics. I'm pretty sure that this IS a concept album, even if LP say that's not all they want it to be. Let's hope it doesn't get labelled as "war chants". Even though I really can't see LP looking into the likes of Pendulum and dubstep (which would be epic), it's nice to hear there might be some similarities. I'm also getting the vide that the album could reach to the epicness that is 65daysofstatic, this song comes into mind.
  17. Funny how some are taking one look at, realising it's not Chester and Mike pulling some bad-ass pose, half-naked with bright spiky red/blue hair and proceed to bitch about it. Personally, it's works a lot better then the MTM cover, which for me, was incredibly boring and unoriginal. Still funny how they both stuck to the whole grey scale thing. In terms of predictions, this album is shaping up to be just that, better than MTM.
  18. By far the best remix I've heard. Brilliant.
  19. would very much like PM you guys own. Edit: got it thank you, you know who!
  20. To be honest the greater outcome looks like it's more for the insurance company, they wouldn't dive into something so deep (as in, not pay out), unless they were sure they were legally in the right. Insurance companies are way too complex in legalities. oh and the comments on that website are hilarious.
  21. YES! Would be such a win. Why just release it for the one system? Since the hardware is pretty similer, and it has been done for so many other applications/games, I really can't see it being that hard too do. It would expand the market as well... (admittedly by not much, but the point still stands) and it would get bonus points for not relying on Apple. Man, I can't stand the iPhone.
  22. They've not got much planned for 2010 apart from make the record, so I'm feeling late 2010, if anything pops-up, even the smallest of things, like a similer New Divide release, then its definitely 2011.
  23. You can't take these songs as there own complete song, there not. People are forgeting they are earlier rougher versions, not created to be listened to by a fan. To me they are really intresting to just see how they developed and what they decided to drop or include to a song. Its for sure the best LPU we've had. A.06 - So right to cut it short, I'm not going to lie, the "extra" bits on the demo don't do the song any justice, again like all these demos still interesting to see a song at an earlier stage. Faint (Demo 2002) - They fixed the song up nicely to produce the final version, the demo has some interesting lyrics, but you can tell Mike's are all rough. I actually thought I was listening to the EMT remix the first 20 seconds or so. Still there are some strong points on Mike's lyrics but everything else was improved on well in the final. Sad - Its annoying me how people are saying this is crap, as its own song of course it is, 95% of demos are always going to be worse than the original, they're only listened to, to note on development and this again, was most definitely put together to only be a core very rough demo, and it illustrates how the song came together nicely. Fear - I'm loving the feeling and structure on this more so then the original, it packs more "punch", they could have fixed this up nicely to become a much better final song, like with most of the tracks, this was very demo was only made to be what it is, a demo. The lyrics are simple but a lot more affective to me, I actually prefer the "danadana" to the LOATR chrous. I'm definetly going to enjoy listening to this, as its own song. Figure.09 - Fixed up for the final very nicely, a solid clear stem on this demo for the final, no notable stronger elements they could have left in the final. Stick N' Move - Very different from the original Xero song and Runaway, LP "improved" on this so much that it’s not really anything similar. Not good to listen to as its own song though. Across The Line - It is unique LP song, you can definitely tell it’s an MTM song, the structure and production on this is incredible and so are the vocals, but a lot of the lyrics defiantly need some work in place such as "loading it full of his goodbyes", is just a week line for me. With a bit of work this would have been preferred on the album. Drawing - I can't really see why this could have been thrown out as an instrumental, lyrics fit over it perfectly (with obvious tweaking to some of electronic break-down). The more electronic feel, I'm defiantly enjoying enough to listen to this as its own song. Drum Song - Very intresting to hear this, and I feel LP cheated a little bit on this, they took a complelty un-political demo and made it all of a sudden about Katrina. I've always hated the fact LP have gone all political on some of there newer tracks, it doesn't suit them, they are too specfic and opionutaed (not that I don't agree with anything they are putting across). This had potential to have turned into such a better song.
  24. Its very progressive in my opinion, gets better towards the end, its not something you can half pay attension to, to be able to fully apreciate it. The effects arn't mind blowing, but I geuss you have to try not to think about it like that.
  25. maybe its because i'm so used to it, but the twitter box just looks way out of place (colours and everything), probably best centering the top random pictures and then shoving the twitter box somewhere eles.
