  1. In addition to the regular shows, they should do a special tour for the hardcore fans (not necessarily LPU members since I'm not in the LPU, but you get my point) in smaller, more intimate locations where they are playing all the gems that they have rarely played live before! I think that would be a good solution!
  2. It's official: "Dreamland" is gonna be JULIEN-K's second single here in Europe and will be out in August! As a special treat to the German fans, the German Recording Magazine is holding a special remix contest where the winning remix of "Dreamland" is gonna be featured as a part of the single! There will also be some other great prizes! More details about the contest can be found HERE and the remix stems can be downloaded HERE. I think the contest is only open to German residents, though! 3. Those are damn awesome, Lee! Can't wait for more!
  4. Seriously? Oh wow - that's cool! What band was he talking about? I'm really into some death metal stuff.
  5. So I just wanted to point out that my code that I got as a member of the street team did not work at all. I tried it several times and it was never accepted. BlackChester then was kind enough to give me his code from the SFTU CD... But yeah, the street team code didn't work for me.
  6. Happy Birthday to the crazy guy who joined DBS on their entire European tour! Major props for that and I hope you have a great day It was really nice meeting you at three of the German shows and I hope we will see us again as soon as JK are finally touring overseas!!
  7. Oh cool, now I can finally check out the LPU for a month... and look for all the DBS goodness in there! HAHAHA!
  8. Can this please stop???? First Pete Steele, then Dio, now Paul Gray - and all died within a month or so.... I'm at a loss for words... I can't believe it! And it's getting kinda creepy... R.I.P. Paul!
  9. I think it's actually quite hard to get CDs in India in general, therefore of course they don't really sell well... which doesn't mean there wouldn't be a lot of fans showing up at the shows! Otherwise it would have also been senseless for LP to play in Taiwan and Malaysia and stuff.
  10. Will the Bucket Of Weenies ever reunite for maybe a couple of shows? Are you still playing music or would you join a band if you had the possibility, or does Club Tattoo keep you busy enough?
  11. There's also a webcast from the Paris show at the Tony Hawk event but it has some really annoying interview and moderation parts in it, which really sucks! Only some songs have been broadcasted in full!
  12. Oh cool, I always wanted to know what kind of versions I have from "It's Goin' Down" and just found out that I have the demo version and the album version! So thanks for that!
  13. R.I.P. RJD Your music will remain forever! This is so sad.... And now I could seriously kill myself for not going to their show last year due to the distance... By then I thought: Okay, I'm gonna see them next year... And now he's gone... Can't believe it!
  14. Nice update They really need to get over here... And I can't believe he played all of the instruments in the Psycho Plague songs, except for bass! So this means he can also play the guitar?? Fuckin' great!! I also didn't know they had over a dozen of songs finished. I know they might be reworked (since they are perfectionists) but this is great to know!
  15. Most recently they also promoted Julien-K by setting up a headquarter for their street team for some while! But this promotion has ended by now and the headquarter can't be accessed anymore. Latest news was that the actual street team leader switched the team over to ReverbNation.
  16. Yep, same here. And probably "Figure.09," as Astat said.
  17. *lol* So much for the success of Machine Shop as a label... 3 bands defunct, 1 band on hiatus, 1 band (Styles Of Beyond) still active but can't get their album out, and 1 artist that might be active (Holly Brook) but you don't hear anything about her!
  18. !! !!! ... Linkin Park is not the only band in the world!
  19. I actually wouldn't really want them to do more covers. Chester is already playing with Camp Freddy from time to time, and Mike regularly does remixes for some artists or is featured on tracks - that is enough for me! I'd rather love to see a collabo with another singer or musician (who is not called Jay-Z *lol* Maybe even a female singer!) that is also featured on an official studio album of the band.
  20. Oh yeah, Psycho Plague are awesome! I didn't know some of the songs, so that was a nice surprise! Elias is the man! And this is another proof that drummers are also able to be badass singers!!
  21. Good read! Yes, nowadays there are many artists that only focus on studio recording or composing stuff that is being played in movies, games, etc. Nothing wrong with that! But if you really want to be taken for serious as a band, or if you really want to "make" it, you have to go out and play your asses off... There's nothing better than a stunning and hypnotizing live performance, if you ask me! Of course playing live and performing is a learning process, and while starting out not everybody has that performing qualities or the emanation and attitude needed to be received well onstage. But one can learn (and learn from mistakes), and there will always be extraordinary performers out there who manage to really capture the audience AND deliver badass recordings.
