  1. Happy Birthday!! [And One] year older! *lol*
  2. Nowhere, I was just happy to have it played for me by the guys when they were on tour here!
  3. Yes, he said it here: http://www.julien-k.com/forum/showpost.php...amp;postcount=6
  4. ... and another new working title: "Dregs Of The World"! And Ryan said in the JKMB that he expects the new album to be out in a few months! I would actually bet that we get the new JK album even before the new LP album! *lol*
  5. ... and I will go on with posting Julien-K news I don't think this needs a need thread, so I wanted to update this thread: As you might know, a remix CD called Death To Digital was included into the Limited US Edition of the album. Now, a special compilation called Death To Digital X (the X thereby stands for "eXtra") will be released via iTunes soon which includes the known remixes of DTD and also some new and never-before-heard remixes, e.g. a new iPunk remix of the song "Systeme de Sexe" (this had been confirmed by iPunk himself) and probably the Franz + Shape version of "Futura" as well as a "Dreamland" remix. A special instrumental EP of Death To Digital will also be out via Beatport.com soon! As of now, there aren't any specific release dates but I think both releases will be out through Amir's and Fu's own label Circuit Freq Records. Here's the cover:
  6. This is awesome!!! I only had parts of it so far! Thanks, man - I really appreciate it!
  7. You have a point but I just want you all to take notice that Chester is in fact also considered a member of Julien-K! Just ask one of the JK members about it and they will tell you! Just look at their biography on their MySpace site and you get the idea: Julien-K was originally formed in 2003 by Orgy guitarists Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh, and now consists of Anthony “Fu” Valcic, Brandon Belsky, Chester Bennington, and Elias Andra. We are a remixing and production team, as well as two live bands – Julien-K and Dead by Sunrise. As DJ's we are JK DJS. Yes, that would be awesome! I mean, there's already a JK Live Guide, so I think a separate forum would be great as well!
  8. ... and if Fort Minor would have released a new album, I'm sure there would be lots of news posts as well, and maybe even less complaints. So yeah, I think it's cool that JK are featured here, and why not post interesting news if there are many right now?
  9. Sounds GREAT! I would really love to hear how the guitar solo was placed into the "Nights of Future Past" song since I have heard the rough demo before. But yeah, I'm SO damn stoked for more songs!!!
  10. In that context, one should mention that it is the 2005 demo of "Look At U" because the final version appears on the album, of course! And the original "Nights of Future Past" will be without Sam Vandal, I think (same goes for "Cruel Heart Girl" and Z-Listers) so I think the last quote you mention just already discloses the plans for remixes for these songs that aren't even finished in their studio/album versions yet! LOL!
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ollpfZDETBA Here you can see part 1 at the official Bonedo.de YouTube channel! I dunno, though, if part 2 (the business part) will also be uploaded!
  12. I made that double post on purpose because maybe my original would still have made "Newswire" and then the other comment wouldn't have fit anymore!
  13. Here's more of Ryan Shuck with dreads
  14. No, the original "Futura" was the result out of a collabo between Julien-K and the electronic DJs Franz + Shape (an instrumental, by the way). They just discovered that this song would really work out well on the album, so they added vocals to it and made a DTA Version out of it. So yeah, the original version is gonna come out now, as well as an Xtended Dub Version. Read THIS blog for more information about how the song originally started.
  15. Yes, the best and most informative and spot-on interview that I've heard in a long while! Very entertaining That is just another example for why I love these guys so much!
  16. No, as far as I know it's just that Metropolis Records (which distributed DTA in the USA) changed its distribution.
  17. "Chosen One" is definitely not a Julien-K song, but it's a song by the band A2 that was also on one of the Shadow The Hedgehog soundtracks. I think that is why it's often confused with being a Julien-K song! It also has a similar sound. As for the TF 2 score - there was a post about it in the official JK message board recently, so maybe you should go look there
  18. This message is mainly directed towards all US fans! Julien-K have just pleased your ears with a free download of "Killing Fields" (Brandon Belsky Remix)... but now they need your help! All of Julien-K's user reviews and rankings for Death To Analog on US iTunes went away! They lost hundreds of great fan reviews/ratings due to a change in distribution! So please review and rate the album again! More info here on Amir's MySpace Blog! This sucks big time, so please take a minute of your time and help out!! *lol* This should have rather made Newswire than the poll "Killing Fields" vs. "Dreamland"
  19. "Killing Fields"... but "Dreamland" also blew me away when I first listened to it back then! So yeah, maybe it's KF because it's new... I just know that I love both songs to death!

    ...?

    Totally agree!
  21. I just hope the Brits all sent a mail straight to Lee, and that's why they aren't posting here
  22. It's up now! Enjoy! http://www.insidethetourbus.com/2010/03/ju...-free-download/
  23. These guys definitely know how to tease people
