So can we download the HD rip somewhere? Or Antinea, would you share a link with us or send me a link via PM? Would be more than grateful -
Julien-K for Rock am Ring 2010, please! God, I would love to see them tear it up in the Soundwave Tent Or how about DBS? I know it's very unlikely and I would rather have JK, but if any of these bands get confirmed, I would totally go! And by the way, Muse and KISS have now been confirmed as the other two headliners apart from Rammstein!

Me neither!!! I know they have been saying they are constantly working on new stuff or that they are constantly getting new inspirations but I think JK was a bit on the backburner in the meantime, so it's even better to know that they are working on something new! Yep, there are still too little people who realize how great and creative JK are! Let's help in changing that *laughs* You will be mistaken

Thanks for posting, dude, since I missed the thread until now

"QWERTY" proshot sounds nice Can't wait to hear that "Morning After" acoustic version either!

On the summer Europe dates with LP, DBS (or maybe just JK) had an assistant called Ian with them who kinda served as a kind of tour manager. Then at the Hamburg show, Pooch took over the tour manager duty. And as far as I know, Marty (JK's usual tour manager) is often with them as well. DBS playing with KoRn?? Uhh, judging from what Ryan said about KoRn when I met him, I don't think this will ever happen. Agree! And now my two cents: I think DBS are gonna tour/do promo in January and February and then the whole project is done for quite a while. I would say they do like 10 shows in Europe (split up between England, Germany, France and probably one other country) in the middle of January, then they head to Asia for the 2 shows that are already confirmed and then in February they might do 10-12 US dates across the continent. After that, Chester is gonna focus on LP and the other guys are gonna focus on JK again and getting JK out in Europe. The LP album might be released in late summer, which is probably why they canceled the Rock am Ring appearance here in Germany - maybe they are afraid they don't have new songs ready by early June and that is why they canceled their show. Chester and DBS might indeed be one major reason for the delay of the LP album, but to be honest, I don't care about it since I really loved what he did/does with DBS. Then in like October/November I could imagine them to get out on tour with LP again. A first new LP single might be out in July or August - who knows. Like others said, LP are quite unpredictable and rather take more time than release something that they aren't 100 % convinced of. But I'm fully convinced they are gonna release their new album in 2010. Don't forget about the pressure that the label might put on them. It might not be publicly stated but as long as they're with Warner, they just HAVE to fulfil some duties regarding releases/release dates, I think.

Fuck yeah, I voted for JK as well... The DBS album is great but nothing beats JK this year! And hands down, HT is definitely my personal album of the decade! It will most likely not win, but it is definitely the album that has defined me as a person the most and that helped me grow up and get into cool music. Other candidates for the title would be Untouchables by KoRn and Unstable by ADEMA if I were to hand out the award!

DBS should be nominated! *lol* I doubt they will be, but I would love it!

Apparently that show was REALLY awesome! But I also wanted to kill that fucking interviewer... Seriously - you just CAN'T do that! Either you show the live show or the dumb interviews. I just hope they recorded the whole show and might broadcast the show without interviews at a later point - maybe even in French TV, so we would have a real pro-shot! DAMN! I loved how Ryan really sang a lot this time, and how his mic was kinda as loud as Chester's. Fucking awesome - he should have sung just as much on the album! In general DBS just rocked it!!! Now I really wished I could have been there but what can I do... -
On Inside The Tourbus there is another cool mission/contest going on - this time it is a "radio assault" for DBS and JK. Check it out HERE--you can win some sweet prizes if you become active and promote the bands to your favorite and/or local radio stations! By the way, what really struck me in this text was the following phrase: Call your local radio stations and request “Let Down” by Dead By Sunrise. You can also contact your local harder rock stations and request “Inside Of Me”. Do you think this is an indication or an obvious hint that "Inside Of Me" might become the next DBS single after "Let Down"? Even though the song is only 2:15 long, I think it might in fact be possible that it becomes the next single.

They should play ALL songs from the album, and also "Dreamland," "This Machine," "Waking Up," "Everyone Knows," and "Killing Fields" (the latter two of which haven't even been released yet *lol*). So: They should play every song they ever made in one set... and then I can die happily
-
I agree. There will always be haters of any band out there, so you shouldn't let this shit affect you in any way.
-
Nice - I'm looking forward to the collabo with Travis Would have loved to see Chester on Slash's album as well, but I guess it just didn't work out time-wise.

LPU9: Japanese Special Edition and Tracklist!
immortalsoul replied to Alexonlyalex's topic in Newswire
Word! That's why I always wanted the Systeme de Street team to get involved as well. It would be just fair! I mean, people (even a lot of LP fans) had already been bitching about DBS playing during the LP set (I experienced this myself in Stuttgart), which I couldn't understand and found quite embarrassing for the LP fan community... But then again they give out DBS exclusives to members of the official LP fanclub, even though only one LP member is in the band? Yeah, I never understood that, even though - of course - DBS is considered to be Chester's band. The backing band is completely made-up of the Julien-K guys, though, so I think their fanclub would really have to give us fans these exclusives as well! This shouldn't come across as a rant, though. I just thought we Julien-K fans, who might not be that much of LP fans (anymore), were a bit left out in that. It's mostly the fault of SDS, I guess. -

If this is real, it sounds nice! Nevertheless not a reason to join the LPU. -

YES! I also agree. At least when it comes to LP I don't think I'm ever gonna vote for them again. This band truly had their award fix already and they have enough fans to vote for them, obviously, so no need for me to waste any more time *lol* It might sound harsh but I rather go and support the underground or the lesser popular bands who would really need it. And no, I'm also not gonna vote for Paramore since I don't like them. I'm convinced LP fans are cheating as well or have been cheating in the past, and Fuse, MTV etc. are totally aware of that. If they actually gave a a shit about bands cheating, they would set up an IP or mail notification where one can only vote once (or where it is at least a bit harder to cheat), as it is the case in a lot of lesser popular votings.

I actually own the one that Ryan plays - just not with a black pickguard, but a white one. But I could easily replace it with a black one, and then it would be the same! He appears once, but one doesn't really notice him when he is shortly shown in the red background once.
-
Well, there is definitely a proshot of the Hamburg show that Warner shot, and they told us they wanted to release the footage on the official German DBS site. So maybe they made the decision to put it on a DVD and then release it as a special edition. I think that's pretty realistic, as Jonas said.
-
I might be going if I don't have to work at the Alice In Chains concert taking place near where I live.
-
Yep, you have a point! I'd love to have a proshot DVD of the Hamburg show and the acoustic stuff from Vegas And I'm definitely gonna buy it!
