  1. I could have sworn Ryan prefers Depeche Mode over Stone Temple Pilots! HAHAHA Definitely one of the best interviews ever! I laughed my ass off!!
  2. Haha, I just translated that site with Google. Thx, man! I finally got the download as well!
  3. I second that! Or how about another rare Bucket Of Weenies show? Way to build up excitement, Mark! ... and I love your new Ryan sig, by the way.. Looks familiar to me XD
  4. Wow, is it just me or are there really more people screaming for Ryan than for Chester after the show? Hahaha!
  5. I don't think they would mind but as I said before, I think it's very unlikely to happen!
  6. Thanks and huge props to you for recording it!!
  7. I'm actually backing you up on that. I wouldn't be so drastic as in naming them "mediocre musicians" BUT Chester and his voice are basically the only thing that keeps me listening to LP, even though the others (e.g. Mike) are of course talented in their areas as well. But without Chester's voice, I couldn't have listened to any song of MTM, I guess - instrumentally this CD was just too much of a disappointment. Therefore I'm even more grateful for DBS I'm also a diehard Julien-K fan (and now DBS fan as well) and not so much of an LP fan anymore but I nevertheless keep coming on here because you guys aren't simply specializing on LP but also cover the LP-related stuff, and that's what I really like about this site!
  8. Wow, that's awesome!! Thanks
  9. Haha, yes - would be better if they announce it somewhat earlier! Can't fucking wait for the guys to come back!!! OMG!!! HAHAHAHA
  10. Yes, that was indeed shocking to read!!
  11. AWESOME! I'm so happy for the guys that their hard work is being rewarded here in Germany! Rank #5 is cool, I guess, and the download charts are the charts for the future anyway, so yeah - great job! Can't wait for "Let Down" either - of course!
  12. They did radio appearances in Paris and maybe they were supposed to play a showcase gig there as well but it just didn't turn out? So I don't think it is an indication for future European shows, but I'm sure they will be back soon!
  13. That interview is great!! Thx for sharing Btw, does anybody have scans of the accompanying Revolver interview?
  14. Haha, well, it's the owner of the Roxy himself
  15. Wow, thank you very much for moving this to the newswire!!
  16. Here are some pro pics from the event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/whoshotya/set...57622499970165/
  17. Today is the worldwide digital release of Julien-K's Death To Analog! A list of all the e-tailers carrying the record can be found HERE! 18. Umm, did they delete it from LinkinPark.com or why can't I find the video there? Anyways, I'm currently downloading it
  19. I thought the placement of "My Suffering" right after "Give Me Your Name" was a bit awkward, though He should have started with the songs about his divorce and 'suffering' and then put the 'happy' love songs in the end. So the album would have had a happy ending, so to speak *laughs*
  20. I thought the same *laughs* I love The Postal Service, so let's see what might come out of that!
  21. Umm, don't you think that playing an LP cover wouldn't be a smart move, especially if they are sick of all the comparisons between DBS and LP? I see both bands as separate entities that don't need to get mixed up. In terms of Julien-K it's a different issue because the whole band is already in DBS, and so I could really imagine them to play a JK song at some point!
  22. Oh yes, he is!! JK (especially Ryan and Elias) are definitely among the nicest and coolest guys that one can ever meet!
  23. Agreed.
  24. Would be cool if that happened but I actually doubt it
  25. Chester shouldn't give a flying fuck about these critics, even though it's coming from a renowned magazine such as Rolling Stone. I understand that this criticism might get to him even more since this is his very own, personal album but there are always people disliking his stuff or hating, so yeah, I think he should rather "find bliss in ignorance" *laughs* And that whole emo thing is like sooo 2007!
