  1. In terms of interaction with fans, nothing beats the Rock am Ring 2004 show, I think... This was just epic! I also loved how they took that fan onstage in order to do an announcement in German! And everything they said and commented seemed to be rather spontaneous... Not always the same stuff as in the last years! I wish they would go back to do that, and start to behave "easier" and "lighter" onstage again - if you know what I mean!
  2. Yep, but an instrumental EP of DTD X can be found on Beatport! Really love iPunk's remix of "Systeme de Sexe" and Fu's take on "Someday Soon." The other new remixes that I haven't heard before are also pretty cool!
  3. At some point I would love to listen to "Wish" (NIN cover) again
  4. !! Yes! And it would have fit, actually, because DTD has just been re-released as well, with four previously unreleased remixes!
  5. 1. New Divide This is seriously one of the best LP songs. I was hooked after the first listen. I'm usually not too fond of Chester singing as high as in the chorus but it really fits the song. In general tthis is such a powerful song with an epic intro, a catchy hookline, great drums (in the professionally recorded live versions they sound even greater!), and a really nice, Nine Inch Nails-like bridge. 2. Across The Line After the first listen, I actually thought this could have been a Dead By Sunrise song! Really like the effects and the guitar with Chester delivering great verses that add up to a great chorus and an even cooler screamed bridge. I really like that song and I think it should have been on the album! 3. No Roads Left This is probably the track that one would not identify as an LP song if you don't know. Of course because it is Mike singing here, and Chester, Linkin Park's trademark voice, does not sing. I don't know how much editing or effects there are on Mike's voice but his vocals are decent on this track and I just like how it sounds that different... 4. Not Alone Yeah, a really soft and calm song... But for some reason I really like it! Nice melodies and Chester's vocals are just beautiful. Nothing too spectacular but it gets approval from me! 5. Blackbirds Uhh... So I have listened to it some times now and it still doesn't do it for me. This is a pretty average song which is lacking the grand moments and highlights, if you ask me. 6. Lockjaw I don't even remember this song that much *lol* Apart from "A.06" I've never really liked any of LP's instrumentals, I guess, so why should this be an exception? I'm just too much of a fan of Chester's vocals!
  6. Alrighties, I get your point.... And yes, of course I also wouldn't mind them to be longer
  7. They are already giving us more than LP, so why complain? They even gave us that 15 minute workshop special, which is more than most bands do... It's understandable they don't have time to give us 15 minutes-updates all the time! Most people also don't have the concentration span or motivation to watch videos that are like longer than 5-8 minutes!
  8. Sounds great so far But I didn't expect anything different!
  9. Uhh, didn't really like the song. Pretty much average stuff. I listened to it for some times and it totally didn't grow on me at all.
  10. Yep, more crowd interaction please!
  11. I hardly ever listen to it, to be honest. It had always been one of my favorite songs off MTM but I don't know why I'm not that much into it anymore. Same thing with "The Little Things Give You Away," by the way. The MTM songs I'm listening to the most until now are probably "What I've Done," "Valentine's Day," and "Leave Out All The Rest." Honestly, don't know why.
  12. The worst thing I've ever heard is the MTV/radio cut for Bullet For My Valentine's song "Tears Don't Fall"... They completely replaced all of the screamed passages with cleanly sung passages... I was like: WTF! I mean, for me this is a heavy intervention into their art. I just can't understand why artists let labels or radio stations do this or why they even agree to edit passages just to make it more radio-friendly. If it's just because the contract says so or because of the money... then it is a poor activity by any party involved!
  13. *lol* Cool that you are gonna represent JKG there... Of course we won't post any review about the LP game on our site, though ... But soon we will have our own Julien-K 8-bit style game out, don't forget
  14. Yep, I've heard these versions as well. I hate it when radio stations cut songs by themselves. Always pisses me off because usually the song is already short enough to be played in full on the radio! And I'm a sucker for guitar solos, so of course it sucks if they are cut out! What the fuck... This is ridiculous *lol*
  15. That's definitely funny to see! Win for Julien-K *laughs* I love the constant updates about this particular song. It really seems that this might be the track that they are most convinced of. I'm actually quite sure there will be more updates about "The Hunting" which eventually lead to the song being fully revealed. Very nice take on everything!
  16. Amir is actually said to edit the Wikipedia page of Julien-K by himself But yeah, some other user could always be there messing stuff up... I have heard of all titles before and they had all been confirmed either through Ryan or Amir via Twitter! But nevertheless they are ALL considered working titles, except for "Everyone Knows," so the titles might still change!
  17. Awesome stuff! In the past I have always wished for a guitar workshop by Ryan and/or Amir, and now we finally got something like that!!
  18. Exactly. It was the whole label bullshit getting in the way. They actually put the album together quite quickly but since so much time went on struggling with the label issues, etc., they went back to make some changes to the album at some point.
  19. Church is also "working" for Chester and I think he is one of his closest friends And yeah, once again new video!! Way to go, Church!
  20. No, it will only be released digitally. But the original Death To Digital compilation is a bonus CD in the special edition of DTA.
  21. Yes, it's also one of my favorite remixes!! Really makes me want to take a ride in the sunshine with windows down
