  1. That's interesting! I think they will do some interviews, radio and TV appearances then. Maybe they will even perform the new single for an episode of a German TV show which won't be broadcasted until the end of July or so! I think this is quite likely. Don't think they will do any real shows, though. Maybe a press showcase, but that's about it.
  2. It was a new version of the song that was previously known as "Cruel Heart Girl" and that is now known as "Cruel Daze Of Summer."
  3. JKDJS are done for now - that's what Amir told me some days ago. He is gonna focus on Circuit Freq now. That doesn't mean, though, that they will never perform under the JKDJS moniker again.
  4. Yep, London calling! I will be there since I can't attend any of the German dates!!
  5. Looks should never matter if you like a band IMO. Fu's musical talent and creativity make up for his looks a hundred times! To clear this for one last time: Brandon is NOT on Twitter and has NEVER been. Even Amir once tweeted that the bbelsk1 account is NOT Brandon's account. And we asked Brandon at the DBS tour and he also said he was never on Twitter and someone must have pretended to be him. It's also quite obvious because this bbelsk1 guy regularly posts tweets for his zodiac sign Aries, and Brandon is not Aries since he was born in December... *lol* How do you know? Well, the creative process and musical direction in JK is definitely different than in DBS. But since DBS is on hiatus anyway, they might not have thought about the future and if Brandon will remain a member of this band as well. I think it's also always about the way how a fan approaches the guys and if they feel comfortable with it. Speaking of that, Brandon has always been really nice and welcoming to me whenever I met him. And yes, I think it's sad that Brando left, and I'm definitely gonna miss his background vocals and the keyboard wizardry. But yeah, maybe it was better to part ways if they aren't getting along anymore in musical terms. Good to know that they will remain friends. Replacing him with Fu seems like the best possible decision since Fu has always been working in the background as a fifth member... Now it's time for him to enter the spotlight with Julien-K. I'm sure he will also have an impact on the whole live setup of JK, so it will be interesting to see what they will come up with on their European tour! By the way: Fu rocks as hell - such a nice guy! Never had any problems with him as well and he was actually the one who showed us the MOST recent version of one JK demo track in Hamburg!
  6. Label restrictions probably. This time I expect them to not even have 12 tracks on the album. Maybe 9 or 10 but some songs might be longer (like 6 minutes or so).
  7. Yes please! Would love to hear recordings of that as well!

    PR2011?

Yep, I'm quite sure that they are gonna play Rock am Ring 2011 since they weren't on the bill this year. And maybe they are gonna do like 2-3 German PR shows again. Would be cool!
  9. I don't think these shows will have the PR banner... But I expect like 1-2 support acts!
  10. Whatever the title is... It's Julien-K so I'm sure it will be great Can't wait!
  11. Church is a freaking legend! Period.
  12. One word: Awesome! My parents are actually huge Santana fans and are gonna pick up the new album for sure, so I'm excited to hear the songs and especially the Doors cover I expect Chester to totally nail it!
  13. You should totally work on web 2.0 integrations. Like, connect the site with Facebook and Twitter apps in order to make it easier for users to directly share posts or like news posts. It would also help LP Live to become more popular, also in terms of SEO.

    QWERTY

Would love to see a return of the 2006 live version of "QWERTY" on the fall tour!
  15. Now we basically know it will be the end of September!
  16. Taking Julien-K with them on their European tour in fall would be a great idea
  17. Uhh no, LP should never cover KoRn *laughs* For example, I could never imagine Phoenix to pull it off like Fieldy - I'm sorry! I would love to see Jon Davis and Chester collaborate again, though!
  18. Julien-K and Linkin Park BTW, there's already a really epic mash-up of Julien-K's "Forever" and Linkin Park's "Numb":
  19. 1. 2009 album version 2. 2005 Julien-K Remix 3. 2010 live acoustic version 4. 2001 live acoustic version
  20. The guys from Julien-K are all into house and even hard-house or tech house stuff, especially Amir, Brandon, and Fu. Since they are really big friends with Chester, maybe they are gonna ask him to provide some vocals for their DJ projects at some point (Circuit Freq or so). I mean, why not? I could also really imagine him to pull this off! Or maybe Chester is gonna collaborate with The Delta Fiasco (or their side project Thieves) at some point, which also have some house music influences!
  21. ... which I'm sure won't happen. Warner mostly chooses affiliated bands as openers for their bands. Therefore we can only hope that Julien-K will have the chance, but seeing as they were supposed to be the openers for 2 previous LP European tours, there definitely IS a possibility.
